2020 iPad 10.2" - GAMING TEST | PUBG Mobile Full Gameplay on iPad 8th Generation By Matt Bison

All right guys, you've been asking for this. One here is an iPad gaming test with PUBG mobile, now, not the flex or anything, but I actually kind of slap at pub g. It's pretty insane. Now, I'm not gonna lie like my rank. Isn't that high, but I mean I know the techniques you know what I mean: okay, anyways and just so that we're clear. This is on the iPad, 8th generation with 32 gigabytes, and I think, there's about three gigabytes of ram on here with the a12.

So hopefully, this iPad should be able to run everything, but I'm going to have all the graphics all the frame rate everything set to the max and let's see how this iPad performs classical first person PUBG actually got a huge update, which is really nice to see. I've been playing this, I think, ever since it originally came out. How long ago was that like 2017 or something I don't know I've been. I think the very first time I played this was in grade nine, and this game has really improved a lot they've, also added so many things that you can buy. I don't know about that.

One chief, but I mean honestly, this game was so fun as soon as it came out and now with everything that they've added it's even better and while running it on an iPad like this that can handle all the graphics of this game. I uh. I can't wait to see how it performs. So we are loaded in the match. Okay, so that, as you guys can see um, let me just make sure that the settings are as high as possible.

So yeah I have the frame rate on ultra and the graphics are on HD right now on the UHD yeah, it's not even here yet um, and I'm not trying to download ultra HD um, but I think HD is gonna, be like the maximum that people are going to be playing with and obviously, if you're on a slower device, then you're going to be on smooth. I think, while I was playing on my iPhone 6, I've had it on smooth all the time, and it worked fine but um yeah. These are the settings that I'm rolling with um. I do use four claws, so there's that I know the iPads you can definitely you can like do like the six o'clock. I don't know that is just too crazy for me.

Oh, this is like one of my favorite routes because I love going to Malta and then just going off from there, usually like wherever I'll land I'll try to get to machine. Also, I don't know how to say like any of these cities. So if I butcher any of the names I apologize in advance, so I think I'm probably going to drop Malta um yeah. Let's do it there. I think I don't know where I saw it, but I think you're supposed to drop at like 750 meters away from wherever you want to be yeah, there's usually like a huge house here that I like to go for.

I think it's, the one. That's yeah like right directly underneath me and yeah like this thing like altitude and speed. That was never here uh during like the first iterations of this game, and it's really cool to see all the updates that have come me and my brothers. We usually get like really excited when all these PUBG updates come out, and I'm surprised, I'm oh AK already. Let's go um yeah.

I'm surprised that it's actually running this well, considering the fact that I'm also like screen recording at the same time. Also like you have to, pick up all the bullets that you can because I swear like halfway through a game. I switch from a 5.56 to a 7.62 and reverse. So I just pick up basically any bullets that I can find um. Oh, that's! Oh, oh also, like I don't know if you guys can hear, but my laptop is blazing right now.

Oh, I should probably wear headphones. Oh okay, we got fire yeah see. This is why this is why I need headphones. Ah, my earbuds are or somewhere else. Okay, oh yep, there.

Oh, that's embarrassing, but I mean we still got the kill. So it's all good, okay, a little rusty. This is the first game of the day. So, like don't judge, I feel like I hear footsteps. Oh okay, gunfight, get ready! Look at this ambush! Oh easy, easy too easy! That's how you do it patience people.

That is how you do it um, I'm thinking I might take this asks um, because I actually really like sniping, but that's just me um, and I guess that means like. I don't need all of this extra 7.62, but I don't know, I think I'll, keep it just in case we'll see what happens. I know there was a lot of yeah extras and that's how you do it. You be patient, and you let them kill each other, and then you just go and you absolutely clean up. Okay, so I'm pretty sure that I saw a car like somewhere over there, yeah um- I don't know if it's like, oh my goodness, the graphics in this.

It just looks amazing right now: um, okay bikes. I actually hate this bike, like I'm perfect at driving the motorcycles, but this motorcycle is like the bane of my existence because of how off-balance it is, but yeah something I was trying to point out in the warm-up was just like. Look at this like detail right here in the grass. You can actually see every single little thing and I know for a fact that on smooth, it's actually really hard to see things like grass and details like that um just because uh, like obviously the graphics are m416. I do prefer the m416 over the scar um, I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that it is like officially better, but I don't know it's just a preference thing for me.

I feel like the recoil is easier to control um yeah, so I should probably try and get to the zone. Oh, so this is a tighter zone. Oh wow, all these cars are broken, so that's fun. Wow! I might have to go actually take down a motorcycle then- and I was talking all that I'm saying all that stuff about it, but yeah like things like the shadows, the details in the grass, the attention to detail and like bricks. Right now, all this stuff is just stuff that you wouldn't pick up with um.

If did I pass it yeah, I did um yeah. You wouldn't see this kind of stuff um. If you had the graphics lower- and it really makes you appreciate it- and I'm surprised like it, doesn't even feel that hot right now, and it's running really well, even though I'm screen recording so let's get on out of here and yeah, see like that's disappointing um see if it was a normal motorcycle. I could have definitely went over that hill, but of course I had to get this garbage one so wow. It is hard to talk and drive.

Um yeah like the handling on this, is just so weird because you have that weight, displacement and uh. It's just annoying to deal with so right now. My goal is to just get into the the zone, but yeah like I was trying to say this is one of the annoying things about um about this iPad uh. The fact that the two speakers are both on the same side as right here and when I'm playing like I usually have my hands like this and basically from my middle finger down, is all just up against the um, the speaker grills, so people. Oh, I see a guy.

Oh, I see a guy um, so it becomes really difficult to like to hear details and yeah like you know things like that this is pretty annoying little things like that is just uh. You know annoying things to deal with. Okay um. This should be a relatively easy kill, yep, ah wow. I have gyro on right now, and it's actually been a while, since I used gyro before um.

So if that's a good enough excuse for you, then I guess that's fine for me, but yeah, I'm definitely, definitely rusty in this game. I still slap though oh this is also something new. They added like these fragment things, which was never in the game before and like I kind of still don't know what they do, that dp28 is actually really tempting. That is one of my favorite guns because of how easy it is to control the recoil. I am tempted.

I have a lot of m4 ammo, so I think I'm going to leave it but another day I would have taken that for sure yeah. So the fragments it's something new that they added, and I think it's a really cool addition. Uh because like sometimes it can be really hard to get um weapons and things like that, because some towns are just so unlucky with the drops that they have, so I think it's a good way of kind of balancing it out. I don't know, let me know what you think of all the PUBG updates and whatever in the comments. Oh, oh, my god, I'm like slowly moving.

I don't know if you got uh, I have to leave this. I have to leave this. Ah, that's annoying. Yeah, things like this. It really makes you appreciate, like the landscaping.

That's went into this game, um, all the attention to detail to things like the grass, the rocks, the actual landscape itself um. It makes you just appreciate it just a little more when you have all the stuff in detail and having this a12 uh supported in this iPad. You know it makes it oh shots like I was saying uh. It makes it really. What was it? What was I saying hold on we'll get back to that thought? Hello? Oh there, it is there.

He is okay, he can name. You can name. Oh, I hit him. Let's go. I wasn't! Oh, what okay question mark.

Oh four time, scope! Let's go! Oh my god! I can hear this guy shooting at me. Where is he, though? Oh? Is he fighting someone else Loki perfect hold on? I need to get like a car and just like drive over there. Let's see, I know that I need to get over there and kind of running is really risky, but I also feel like he was distracted. So hopefully that can buy me some time. Was there any cars' person? Okay, oh my god get down.

Oh my goodness, I should have been dead there. I should have been dead there. All I'm thinking is like. Is that the same guy, though oh man I'm in such a bad position, because the zones closing in I have no car because, like I swear like sometimes the worst thing that you could do in this game is just stay still. Is that a car? Okay? I think that's a car uh we're going to have to check that jackpot.

We're going to have to check that one out um. I want to go. Look at those bodies, but I also feel like they may not have um good things in them. Just because of how like usually that area is like things that happens early on in the game. I swear.

These things are so annoying. Ah, all right, it's fine because we're right by the zone but like I feel like as soon as it closes in we're going to run into some issues. I also have all of these fragments to collect, so hopefully I can find a vehicle, and then I can collect that is that a vehicle in the distance yeah? I think it is feeling the temperature of the iPad now right now it is warm, but I mean that's expected of running a really graphically intensive game like this um, but in terms of like frames, dropping nothing at all. This game's been moving so smooth ever since I started playing also, I don't know if any of you guys stream, but like it's actually like kind of hard to see with the microphone uh like basically in my face, probably because I have just bad positioning on it, but I don't know this is the first time so allow okay, so, let's see um rose hawk has a lot of good. Oh ready, ready watch this watch.

This easy kill, easy kill right here, not even a challenge, not even a challenge. I don't get it like. I've been hit with the car before and let me tell you I would not keep running straight towards a car if I saw it just speeding towards me. Okay, so now I'm just going to try and make my way to rose hawk collect any of the items that I can. I know you guys saw that smoke in the distance all right.

We have to check that out. First, oh, wait. I need a bridge. Okay, there's one over here, yeah that smoke in the distance, but I feel like the fragment points for whatever they're called they're, probably not even called that, and I'm just completely butchering the name I feel like they probably give better things than the uh the crates themselves, but I mean I also like using the crates for like just baiting people and letting them run towards it and then just absolutely destroying them when they try and get anything. Unless that happens to me, then that's pretty sad, see if anyone's here nope.

I don't see anyone, so we're good, oh perfect, okay hold on hold on okay yep. I know you guys heard that that's one of the benefits with this gun you can just like spray and pray to the hardest um. Furthermore, I kind of don't want to stay in this area, though, just because of how this guy came here. Do I drop the four times here, because you can always go back onto six times, but you can't go up? That's bars, okay and okay, and I think with that, like I don't want to get too greedy yep and that's why you get gyro. It just makes handling recoil so much easier.

There shouldn't be any more people coming, though, because of how like the smoke went out, so I'm not too worried but yeah. This is why it's so important to have speakers on both sides, because it does really affect how you play and how you hear things in the game, but it's not the end of the world like. Obviously you can just move your hand, positioning! That's how you do it um. Obviously you can just change your hand, position, I kind of thought that was a body for a second and make it work like that. But again it's just something annoying and definitely does not displace the amount of like just.

I have at the amount of graphics that there is um, and I'm still really surprised that it's holding up so well, not that hot, just a little warm like you'd expect, and no frames have grown gone down at all, and I'm on like the highest settings. Okay, so watch over here, I'm gonna, try and bait. Now, oh I'm so blind. I did not even see that coming shots, also by the way like if I'm just bad at this game. Like roast me in the comments like I don't know, I feel like I feel like I'm doing.

Okay, oh my god. Okay, that scared me! Oh okay, yep! No, I'm not even trying to deal with that hold on. I need to heal up damn it. Animal is the zone. Okay, I'm just gonna, try and gun it yep there we go.

Okay, we're good! Oh bench, we're good! Now we're gonna, or should I stay in the city? Well, not city like just by the buildings. I don't know the open is kind of risky, but it's okay, actually, no, because that is on the action. No okay. I think I'm going to stay by this building, because it's the tallest one, okay, I can see it somebody in the distance- oh, my god am. I'm hitting this stupid thing.

Come on. Come on! Oh my god, stupid gyro come on. I could get him. I can get him. Oh.

This is, this: is free, kill, free, kill, free kill, just make sure that was him. I know you guys saw that okay reload for a second, so we know someone's over there, and we do have the like positioning advantage over him because he will get us if we like. We have the higher like we have the better positioning, so we just need to take advantage of that. Make sure that um he can. He has to come to us, and he has to get close to us.

You know, okay, we got him, we got a person that is not who I was looking for, but I don't mind what I have no idea where that came from that could not have been the oh, no they're peeking out. It gives that just gives us time to heal up honestly um, because I do believe that they're out of the zone- and we can use this as an opportunity to try and just dip because, like I said this, is why you got to get to the center of the map, because now they are forced to come third place. Oh, my god, that is annoying man. Third place detailed stats. If you care um yeah, you can look at it.

If you want, I don't I don't look at this. Oh man, that's so annoying! Oh, at least this iPad has perfect graphics. So there's that- and I mean that a12 really held up with keeping the frame rate up and um, you know handling all the graphics that we threw at it. There was definitely a lot going on third place. That's rough.
