Xperia 1 II & WH1000XM3 Cinematic Unboxing By Techview Podcast

Let's, take a look what I have here, one of the best smartphones from last year, the Sony Xperia one mark ii, together with one of the best headphones from 2020, which is the wh-1000xm3. So let's start unboxing this by getting my scissors here and just start unwrapping this box, I'm recording this with the Xperia 5 mark ii, which is also one of the best smartphones from last year. I would say one of the best Sony smartphones, the compact brother of the Xperia one mark ii, but we want to unbox the bundle that has arrived here for me, and we start. I think we start with the Xperia one mark ii, and we put the headphones aside. So the Xperia 1.2, one of the best smartphones from 2020, comes with a full HD screen. Actually, this 4k screen not a full HD screen, so it comes with here.

You can see the specs 12 megapixel 12, megapixel, 12, megapixel, triple camera, uh, 8, megapixel front facing camera, 4k, HDR, OLED, six point, five inches: four thousand million per hours, battery snapdragon x, uh, snapdragon, 865, ip65, and six, eight water and dust resistance, and now, let's unbox this- and here we have, of course premium, imperial blink list premium and another thing premium here. Now we have here the phone itself you can see. Sony is like really packing them into a plastic shell, all the time, plastic, foil, and you have to unwrap them to get them out of here and has also a screen protector already on it. You can get rid of it in a second, let's see what Sony also brings here to the game: a lot of paper material here, quick, start guide and warranty information, of course, but yeah, something that we see less and less this these days also a charger and not only a charger, but also a headphone jack. This should be a pd charger, so uh 18 watts charging quick charging, and we can have also USB type c cable here, and it's also an USB type c to type c cable, as you can see pretty nice and also headphones.

I like Sony headphones, especially even the cheap ones are pretty nice in sound quality, and this one is the MH 750 the same one that I also had in my KBR 5 mark ii. So pretty good headphone. I really like those headphones. You can see it has a headphone jack uh plug. So that means there is a headphone jack also on the Xperia 1 mark ii.

So, first, let's get rid of this fall here and see this gorgeous display 6.5 inch, 4k AMOLED screen. Let's turn this on and let's take a look at the back, so we have here the triple lens setup: 12 megapixel, 12, megapixel, 12 megapixels. This is the main lens, and this is, I think, the wide angle and the telephoto and in between. We have also 3d time of flight sensor and here a white balance sensor as well as the flash and the device is turning on. As you can see here, let's check the other side.

Here we have a volume rocker, and we have a power button, and then we have a dedicated uh button for shutter button for taking photos at the top. We have the three and a half millimeter headphone jack, wonderful, audio quality that comes out of the Xperia one mark ii, and here, as you can see, it is already started up and everything is uh going on here and yeah. I can reach this license agreement and can start working with the device, as you can see here, pretty nice device overall. Here we have the sim we can just with our finger, put in and get out the sim. What we have here is another sim uh slot, as well as a slot for micros card.

I don't think it has. No. I don't think it has like a dual sim support, so this you can just simply easily put out you don't need a sim tool. This is why there's no central included and yeah on the bottom. We have an USB type-c 3.0 and a microphone and there's a secondary microphone on the top as well yeah. This is the Xperia one mark ii device, snapdragon 865, eight gigabytes of ram 6.5 inch, um, 4k, AMOLED screen really, really nice, and it has flat designs. You can see here comparison the PR five, which is a bit rounder.

This is flat, so I can really put it on the table like this, and it will just stand here, and I could just use it also for recording now the unboxing of the second thing of my kit, which is the Sony WH 1000xm3 part of the kit, at least here in Europe. So this is as well possible to just simply unpack right now. So, let's get started. So let's get this unboxing the Sony, the WH 1000 xm3 a winner in various different categories. Of course there are the successors already out, but why do you have to pay a little more for the successor that has basically the same sound quality.

So what we have here is the instruction easy setup guide, so you can download the app and then power on the headphones. The headphones come in this nice little pouch has a flash here. You can open it up and on the bottom it has like something to port something in, so I could put my smartphone in here in theory: uh, maybe not anyway. Let's put the smartphone there and uh yeah get this open and uh. Let's take a look at the headphone, so here's the headphone and as you can see it is a sturdy case and here's the headphone with accessories.

So it comes, of course, with the cable as well, so it has a three and a half millimeter jack that you can plug in also in your phone. If you want to listen to music without using extra power without using Bluetooth at all, and then there is also this adapter for flights. So if you have mono two mono outs- and you just plug it in here, and then you have liked everything you need for a flight- a long flight, for example that can take you from Auckland to over Singapore to Frankfurt, for example, like I flew just a couple of days ago and as you can see here yeah, this is the headphone itself. Let's get it out of here uh here, you have also the instructions on how to get it out, and you have also a nice little graphic that shows you what you can do with the phone itself, like the swipe gestures here on this um uh headphone uh yeah. This is these are the headphones.

So this is the headphone and, as you can see here, you can have very fluffy design here on the top. It has a fluffy design here, big ear cups, and you have an indicator for left and right. Of course, you have the ability to adjust this. This looks a bit plastic. To be honest: here's the adjustment, you have a nice decent, WH, 1000xm3 logo here and yeah.

These are the headphones that I will try out. Of course, um. Maybe I will do a report about them as well. The only thing that you have on the bottom is like the phone connector and uh the headphone connecting cable that you can plug in and the USB type c for charging. Of course, I think it's USB type-c, and then you have the on off button here, and you have, of course, also a noise reduction button here, an ambient noise button that you can use as well.
