Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Vs Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 vs Huawei Y9 2019 Blind Camera Comparison

Hey guys it’s Eric here and this is a blind comparison test between the Pocophone F1, The Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 and the Huawei Y9 2019. At the end of this video i’d be revealing which phone took which photo. Without wasting any time, let’s check out the relevant specs between them and jump right into it. In terms of dynamic range, they all did a pretty good job with the shadows and sky line. In terms of quality, photo B is sharper and more detailed than Photo A which in turn is sharper than Photo C. I love the rich color contrast in all 3 but i think high dynamic range is simply amazing in Photo A.

The greens on photo A here however looks washed out while Photos B and C both look contrasty and color accurate. Here photo A is under saturated, Photo B is saturated and balanced while photo c is over saturated and may actually be the most attractive of all 3 depending on whom you ask. In this selfie, i prefer the colors of Photo B. It’s also the most detailed tho suffers some over exposure. Photo C is warmer and truer to real life while photo A looks a little faded but handles sunlight exposure best, you know… zero melanin glow.

As for the portrait mode, they all did a pretty good job of blurring out the background. I think B has the best subject mapping of all 3. Using the primary camera, we see closer results in terms of color accuracy and sharpness. That over exposure still plaques photos B and C tho. I think Photo A looks the nicest of all 3.

When it comes to portrait mode using the primary camera, we see an excellent job in all 3 photos and it’s a tough call. Here we see only Photo A has a clean focus on subject, producing a realistic skin tone while photos B and C favored the leaves behind. In this shot, Photo C shows lack of focus and hence not so rich blacks. Here are some micro shots i took, i think they’re all really good but you be the judge. In these indoor selfies, photo A is way too cold, the real competition is between photos B and C.

I think C is the sharpest of all 3. When it comes to indoor portrait selfie, Photo B seems like the only one that isn’t struggling with depth sensing. This shot was taken under dim lighting condition nd it’s hard to believe that only 1 of these photos was taken with an actual LED flash. hmmmmWithout flash at night, your selfies would be grainy as expected though photo B is the least grainy here and also handles night lights best though photo A may be looking better with its warmer tone here. Finally, the big reveal.

Photo A was shot with the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018, Photo B was shot with the Pocophone F1 and Photo C was shot with the Huawei Y9 2019. Is anyone surprised? I must add that the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 has a really slow image processing and requires a lot of patience in order to capture a steady shot. Also makes the flash redundant too. I hope there’s a software fix for this sometime in the future. Hope you enjoyed this video, if you did give it a thumbs up and share it.
