Xiaomi Mi Watch vs Realme Watch S Pro: In-Depth Comparison! 1 Ultimate Winner!

Hey guys welcome back to another video with LIM reviews, so in today's video we'll be checking out a comparison between the Realme watch as pro as well as the Xiaomi me watch global version all right. So before we begin, I just want to make it very clear to you guys that I've been using both smartwatches here for almost a month now, and definitely I have some feedback to share with you guys as well as for those of you who are actually wondering which to purchase. Should you get the Realme watch right here, or should you get the watch? Let me share with you what are the key differences, and maybe you would know better after this video all right, so this video might take a little while it might take about seven to eight minutes, so just sit back relax and let me tell you about the differences between both watches right here, all right, so just to be clear out. This is the Realme watch s pro, and I got this here in Malaysia for about 599 ringgits, and that is approximately 150 us dollars from wherever you are in the world, but this is actually 599 ringgits here in Malaysia. So this is the Realme watch uh the price for the watch. On the other hand, this is the global version.

Uh bear that in mind. It's a bit cheaper! It's a 469 ringgit here in Malaysia, or if you translate that into us dollars, it is about 120 us dollars. So the watch right here is actually 30 us dollars cheaper than the Realme watch as pro right. So what are you actually paying for with that extra amount of money for the Realme watch? Well, let's move on to the next topic to find out about that. So the next thing I want to talk about here is the build quality and just the design of the watches in general.

So taking a quick look at the Realme watch right here, you notice that both are actually around have a circular shape for the face itself, and it's pretty good, because it's always nice to have watches that. Look like this with a round face at the front, but what's really different here is in terms of the build materials. So Realme is using this a pretty strong, stainless steel material for the Realme watch right here, and it is actually very solid, like I've knocked it against the wall a couple of times by accident, not for testing purposes, and I noticed that it is still very, very durable and very strong here. So you definitely feel a bit of heft to the watch as well. It definitely feels a bit more premium compared to the watch right there because of those materials.

But one thing I want to point out here is that the buttons on the watch itself doesn't feel that nice to press when you click it there is this really loud clicking sound, which does get a bit annoying. So, in terms of the build quality, the materials itself is pretty nice, but just that the buttons are not the best to click on. Apart from that, we do have these rubber straps right here, which are actually fairly thick rubber, straps right here very solid. It is not the most comfortable on my wrist because of the thickness of the straps itself, but again it is very easy to swap out for other straps that you can find in the market, because it has this latch at the back all right now that we're done with the real new watch, let's check out, what's being offered by the watch, so in terms of build quality, the watcher is actually going for the lightweight kind of perspective right here, so the watch is only 32 grams according to Xiaomi, and we don't have any like heavy uh like premium materials going on here, but it does come with this. I'm not sure what the material is.

It's. It could be plastics or something like that, but it is a very smooth, uh, very clean design around here that I actually prefer uh compared to the Realme watch over there. So it has this blacked out, look as well, nothing too much to talk about the design here, because it is just going for that lightweight kind of feature. The straps itself are also pretty thick and also not the most comfortable on my wrist. But again, just like the Realme watch.

It does come with these straps. These locks at the back here that are really easy to unlock, and then you can swap on your own straps that you feel comfortable with. So in terms of the build quality, I would say that the materials used on the Realme watch here is actually more premium, but I kind of like the lightweight feel of the watch, so it really depends what you're looking for in terms of the buttons on the mi watch actually feels nicer to press, but other than that. I don't really have much to complain here. The phrase if you notice at the front here there is a bit of this bezel and like dolls, going on with the Realme watch right here, whereas on the watch it is actually very clean.

I would prefer if they actually remove this home and sport writing on the watch its face itself, but it's stuck there. Otherwise, I would say that it would be perfectly awesome to see if it is completely blacked out without all these wordings at the sides, all right. So this kind of design is really a subjective method. Let's move on to the next point, which is the display, and the good news here, is that both smartwatches here are actually sporting 1.39 inch AMOLED displays. It also supports an always on display, so they're pretty similar in terms of the display quality.

Very nice contrast levels. They do get pretty bright outdoors as well, uh very happy with the uh, the brightness levels, on both watches right here, which are perfect, so you don't have to worry about them outdoors all right. So next thing I want to talk about here is actually the watch phases, so we do have uh. I think almost about 100 kinds of watch faces for the watch, and they look amazing. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Realme watch here.

The watch faces are kind of disappointing. Let me just show it to you very quickly. These are the kind of designs that you're getting in the real me. The Realme link app. So the designs here are a bit um, not so inspiring.

Hopefully, realm can get some nicer designers so that they can produce more interesting or cooler watch faces on the realm watch, but again different story on the watch itself. There are many cool watch phases here and, if you're the kind of person who likes to change your watch face uh on a daily or just like keep that just prefer something really, really cool. I think you would definitely appreciate the watch phases that are made for the watch, as you can see right here, so I'm just going to change this very quickly for this video uh this one and let me just quickly, browse through and show you what actually came on board. The Realme watch itself, all right. So we do have this watch face, which I don't know who designed this, but it doesn't look really nice.

Maybe it's trying to look like a role xor something, but it's just not so inspiring and at the end of the day I just went with this basic simple watch face all right done with the watch face. Let's talk very quickly about the notifications here so naturally, because both smartwatches are not running android Wear OS, so you cannot answer calls or reply to messages on the watch itself. You'll have to do it on your phone, but these watches are actually able to provide you with notifications. So you can see your notifications directly on the watch itself. So how it looks like on the realm watch is actually pretty good.

I would say if you just drag down from the top here, you can see your list of notifications and I really like that. We have all these icons on the left here. That is very clear, so you know directly on what kind of applications are actually giving out these notifications, for example, this Twitter icon right here we have Elon Musk tweeting, something right there, which you can see the content a little more when you click into it. So I think the notifications for the Realme watch is pretty good onto the mi watch itself. You also have to drag down from the top here, and you actually can see some kind of text going on here.

It does support emojis on the watch, but it's not the emojis that you expect. The emojis look like that. So a black and white emoji here on the watch, but you still do get that app icon in the top left corner right there. So, in terms of notifications, I would say I prefer the ones on the Realme watch slightly better over the ones on the watch. But again, this is really down to your personal preference, all right now that we're done with the notifications, um, the main thing or the very important thing that you buy a smartwatch like this is to track your activities, and this is again where it is very different between both smartwatches here.

So the realm watch here actually does come with 15 different sport modes, which you can activate by clicking this shortcut key. So you have your standard sets of outdoor running your walking, you're cycling, hiking and swimming. Yes, it does track swimming, and you have a couple of sports here, like basketball, yoga, rowing cricket and yeah a couple of free workout activities here, which, to be honest, is very standard which is good enough for most people, I would say, but if you actually take a look at the amount of activities that the watch can track, it is a very, very different ball game, so we have tons of activities here and the list just goes on. According to Xiaomi, this watch is able to track up to 117 different sport modes, and it consists of the typical running walking. Of course cycling swimming, but it just has so much more kind of activities, especially jump rope.

I know a lot of you guys like to skip your ropes uh. You also have hit triathlon, and you can also add more sports uh. That is not already on the main list, and you can add them in, so there's a lot more stuff here: dance boxing, winter sports, recreational sports and so much more. So definitely if you're, the kind of person who really uh does a lot kind of activities, and you track you want to track all those. I think the mi watch here will definitely be able to help you out with that all right.

So on to the next point, in terms of your activities, I want to highlight the GPS that are in both these smartwatches here. So both have GPS, but what's different is that the Realme watch comes with a dual signal or a dual satellite kind of thing for its GPS, whereas the mi watch here comes with a dedicated GPS chip that comes from four satellite signals or something like that all right. So those are just the specifications, but in terms of real world use, I did notice that the mi watch was way faster to lock onto GPS compared to the Realme watch, that's not to say that the Realme watch GPS is poor. It's just that in terms of lock up speeds and accuracy. The mi watch here definitely has a better GPS to track that pace or distance covered by your activity, so just to point that out there all right.

So now that we've done talking about the activities uh, we want to talk about that health features as well, and this is where a couple of stuff are similar as well. So both smartwatches here can actually track your all-day heart rate, uh tracking uh. It also does your sleep tracking, which, to be honest, both are not that accurate uh in terms of heart rate, though both are very accurate, and I've actually tested that out with my blood pressure monitor. So that's pretty good there. Apart from that, the watch does have a couple more stuff up its sleeves.

It can actually track your stress throughout the day and also your energy levels just to show you very quickly. This is your heart rate right here. This is your energy levels, apparently I'm low on energy right now. This is my sleep that I can see in here and your weather and your stress levels are right there, so the stress and the energy levels are not actually being tracked by the Realme watch. But again you could argue that this might not be very accurate.

So that's that for the watch just to show you very quickly on the Realme watch. On the other hand, I can just swipe here to see my yep. That is my full activity for today we also have my weather right there, which looks pretty amazing in this widget. By the way. I also have my sleep information right here, and I can swipe down to see more information.

It does. It does very similar in terms of the sleep tracking, so not too much to talk about that. Moving on, you also have your heart rate. Like I mentioned, and of course, your music player uh. That's pretty much it so in terms of your health uh, your health info.

You can definitely track a little more stuff on the watch right here, all right. Last but not least, let's talk about that battery life, so the Realme watch here is claimed to have up to 14 days of battery life under normal use, and the mi watch supposedly has 16 days. So again these are just numbers that are thrown about by the brands themselves, but after using them for close to one month now, I found that the sweet spot is around seven days based on the amount of notifications that you have coming into your smartphone and, of course, the amount of activities that you do on the daily. So for me again, I would say the logical number here would be one week which is perfect by the way for both smartwatches right here and just to let you see how the charger looks like um. They actually look pretty similar as well.

We have this for the Realme and this for the watch itself. So a tiny puck here it does the job well and no issues with charging whatsoever, but yeah back to the watches, all right guys. So I think that's pretty much the entire difference or comparison. If you made between the realm watch s pro against the watch global version. If you ask me I really have to say that the win here kind of goes to the watch, because it comes in at a lower price and comes in with more features available on the watch itself.

So you're definitely going to want to actually think about that when you make your next purchase of your smartwatch but yeah. If you still have any more questions regarding both smartwatches here feel free to leave them down in the comment section below I'll. Try to answer all your questions, if possible, uh, yeah and of course, please stay safe, and I'll see you guys in the next one bye.
