Xiaomi Mi Watch - Unboxing & 1 Week Review! (ENGLISH)

Hi guys it's an SP, Y T and this Smartwatch might finally be Android answer to the much height Apple Watch. It is, of course, the Xiaomi me watch and in this video I'm going to show you what happened in the quick unboxing, and then I'm gonna share with you my opinion on my experience in using it over the last sort of week or so, and try not to whether I think this might be the best Smartwatch right now and going into 2020. So without further ado, let's find out why so, first and foremost, let's address that undoubted elephant in the room. This is quite possibly the biggest Apple product copy I've ever seen, apart from the ever so slightly larger form factor.45 millimeters, compared to the 44 millimeters of Apple's biggest offering the slightly square, are finished to the more aesthetically pleasing sides found on the Apple Watch and the slightly less premium looking area where the strap meets the watch face. It's exactly the same. The same curved edges on the display, the same crown on the top right hand, side offering reassuring haptic feedback, the same customizable shortcut button below it and even a similar shaped retail box with similar graphics.

Now, if you're, an old follower of Xiaomi over the last few years, you will have kind of seen this before, and you're, probably not really surprised by it. The company for a long time has been offering similar Apple alternatives in the tech market for a shadow of the price, shameful design, copying sure. But there is one thing for sure, and I don't mean every product, of course, but probably 90 to 95 percent of them are really, really good. Quality products build quality and price are very kept for Xiaomi and if you haven't heard of them already I'm sure it won't be long before you do, because they are one of China's largest tech manufacturers across many products and all of what I've just said also applies here to this Xiaomi me watch horrific design. Ripoff aside, it's a really, really well-built piece kit, with its ceramic back and aluminum frame, as well as a fully integrated skinned version of Google, where OS at half the price of the Apple Watch.

This offering from Xiaomi really should be taking note of right. So let's take a look at some features. The first thing you'll notice is, as I said, it is running where OS, but there is one caveat to that, and that is of course, that this is a Chinese version, but number one with the power of Google Translate sounded a bit like he-man, then by the power of Google. Translate I will show you exactly all the different sections and number two as soon as the global version is available, which will be exactly the same, but everything will be in English. For example, I will leave that listed and linked in the video description below just below to subscribe and like button.

So I mentioned the rotating crown which allows you to scroll up or down, if you're feeling too lazy to swipe so on the display, it's either scroll down or swipe down for notifications. As we're RS allows all the opposite direction for your main settings. If you press the crown in when the display is off, it will wake the watch or go to your main apps. If the display is already fully on, and I say fully on, because you might have noticed already, we have an always-on AMOLED display feature much-hyped on the Apple Watch and while it's not quite as aesthetically pleasing on this one, in my opinion, due to the fact it's digital and doesn't remain in an analogue state when you want like on the Apple Watch, it's still a really great feature to have on a side note if I find a way to make sure that it stays in analog. If you've got an analog watch face running as normal I'll again list it below.

You can also tap and tilt to wake for full watch features, both of which are very responsive, in fact, pretty much everything that I've thrown at it. In fact, pretty much everything that I've thrown I didn't hit it. How many more times you going to try and say that sentence in fact pretty much everything that I've thrown at it this week. It's been battered aside thanks to the Qualcomm 3100 chip, sir now this chipset wasn't released two days ago. Won't set your world alight, but it has featured in a lot of big hitters in the Smartwatch area this year and the app jaw is Jeremy's customized one.

But if it's not to your taste, you can of course we're to the more traditional where OS looks in your settings. I personally prefer the more stock where a West look and feel as I do in Xiaomi smartphones when they drop on Android one device over there me ones press and hold the watch face to select a new one, and you certainly won't have a lack of choices to suit your desires in this department. If you swipe to the left, you have your step count. Heart rate, monitor and trackable running feature more on Fitness later and me account tab. If you have one and a weather tab.

If you swipe to the right, you have other useful things like calendar, etc. Now, in terms of battery TR me claim about 36 hours, thanks to its 570 mAh battery capacity, and it's pretty accurate in that description. I am getting well over a day's use, which is good, but I wouldn't risk a second day without my charger. Certainly handy would I prefer more battery life, yes, I think on a Smartwatch for me, I would like to see anywhere between three four and five days that sort of error I think any more than that is amazing. But with those devices you tend to lose out on other features, but I think now, in this day and age, we should be able to get a little more eat out of that battery, but still again better than the likes of the Apple Watch, which is just a day as well as the running mode.

That I showed you. You also have access to quite a few other fitness modes like climbing and swimming, and you also have sleep monitoring as well: one gigabyte of RAM, 8, gigabytes of storage and a 580 M rating, which means 50 meters, water-resistant tons more customization available in the where OS, app, GPS and NFC support. So to be honest for the price. I think it offers a hell of a lot, as I said, I will leave it listed and linked below this Chinese version and, of course, the global version as and when it drops will beat down there. Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
