iPad Pro 2020 11" Unboxing and Impressions!

It is finally time for iPad Pro 2020 content on this channel and today in this video I'm going to be unboxing, the brand new 11 inch models and yes I have to year because I'm giving one away to you guys and if you already entered absolutely no worries your chances of winning remain the same in this video I'm, going to include more details about the skip away, but before we wrap up in the boxes here, I'd really appreciate it. If you leave a like on this video comment, if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions as the YouTube algorithm likes that and will help push my content to more people, and if you are a recurring viewer, be sure to click the bell icon and turn on all notifications as well. So here are these new iPad Pro 11 inch models, I got one in silver and one in spaced gray, both in the 128 K capacity. Of course, you can get up to one terabyte, but this is all I really need for my own purposes and, of course, for whoever ends up winning. One of these I will let you choose which color you want. So let's get the plastic off of both of these here, the Space Gray model.

Next up we got the silver model and since I unboxed a silver iPad Pro 2018 first, that was my first iPad Pro device I'm going to unbox this one first, just for tradition or whatever. So, let's get the Box open here, and here is the silver one: I'm not gonna, pull it out of the box just yet, and here we have the space gray one. Let me take the lids here and put them off to the side. So let's get the iPads out of their boxes. Right, quick and here they are no plastic off just, yet I'm going to take it off, and here they are in all their beauty and, like I said in my wants, new video, the design, for all intents and purposes, is exactly the same.

Compared to the 2018 model. I have my 2018 11-inch iPad Pro right here. As you can see, everything is basically the same: the Apple logo, the iPad lettering, the smart connector, the antenna lines and, of course, once again, the camera modules are different. That's the only defining factor of the iPad Pro a 20/20, otherwise I, don't think you could differentiate the two and within the box here, of course you get you're typical. You know documentation and literature that you'll look at once and forget about their stickers in here too, and then you get your charging brick and, of course, that USB type-c cable to sync and charge your iPad as well.

So let's power them on both at the same time. Excuse me its power them both on at the same time, and there we go I didn't hold the power button on long enough. Would that be funny if I got to dead-on-arrival iPad pros face ID, oh god, alright, so we got both iPad set up here and the first thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to jump into the camera and test it out. So I'm going to allow once while using it- and here we have already a little 1 X to 1/2 X button in order to take advantage of the ultra-wide- it's not as smooth, maybe compared to like the iPhone 11, but it is there. Nonetheless, let's take a picture at 1x.

Take a picture at 0.5, X zoom in here yeah. It's the same story with like the iPhone 11 wide-angle capture is going to be sharper, and the ultra-wide, of course, is going to get more into the shop. But it's going to look a little. Grainy err the display as far as I can tell it doesn't look that much different if at all, compared to the last generation iPad pros, which of course, I'm gonna, compare them and everything, so I'm not gonna, give away too much right now, and I'll actually connect my Apple Pencil to one of these one of the things I love so much about the 2nd gen pencil is that it just snaps into place and syncs automatically. So here's the same writing experience.

We all know and love very quick, of course, on the 128th display here, which is still LCD, which is kind of unfortunate, but at the same time the displays on the last gen I pros are amazing. So it's not that big of a deal to be honest and here's something interesting. You can only do portrait mode with the front-facing camera, with the face ID Tech, which is weird because the light our detector should be able to you know, detect depth, maybe and help with that. I. Don't know I'll look into that, but that is kind of interesting to me.

I would have thought that with two lenses or two sensors we'd get portrait mode with the back facing camera and kind of more on this camera sensor. I think it looks great I'm so happy that Apple stuck with black glass surrounding it and didn't go like the color match. Drought, I think that would look more tacky, but this looks really refined sort of like a better version of the iPhone 11 and yeah I think it looks spotless and understated not too obnoxious like the 11pro Max, for example. These devices are super light, of course, super slim and trim, and they just look incredible, even though this design was launched in 2018, like I said in my first video I wasn't surprised that Apple didn't change too much with this new iPad Pro, and I'm, actually not the disappointed, because this thing still looks spotless even in 2020, and the last thing I want to touch on is the performance here. I, don't know if I'm making this up I have to do more testing just to make sure I'm not, but this iPad feels a bit quicker, especially with base ID.

It is really flying in here, so we've yet to see how much better a12 Z is compared to a 12 X I cannot wait to do that test. Of course, in regard to video editing and gaming and just other intensive stuff and, of course, everyday performance as well, because single course scores might be better too, but yeah so far. This is the iPad Pro experience we all know and love from the 2018 model, with some really sweet improvements once again, with this camera setup and LIDAR, and a bump in based storage, 128, gigs versus the base, 64 gigs and, of course, the newer processor in here, as well so about the giveaway. If you entered in my previous iPad Pro 2020, video you'll know- or you might remember me saying- but I'm still working out, the specifics with it, I might be, including a pencil I might not be I might be working with the sponsor or a brand I, don't know, and indeed I have in the time since I posted that video. The amazing people over at paper, like we're, kind enough to sponsor this giveaway, and if you don't know who they are, they make these incredible screen protectors that transform the glass surface of your iPad Pro into a paper like surface.

Hence, the name which makes the Apple Pencil writing and drawing experience just more intuitive and natural, and I'm super excited about covering their accessory in the future and also leave a link in the description if you're interested in their product. And yes, this is a global giveaway, not just restricted to the US um, we'll figure out how to ship it to whoever wins, especially during this crisis. So whoever wins it um. You should get it at some point in the worst case this year, but many of you are wondering how you enter so here are the instructions all you have to do is leave a like on this video share it with somebody that you think might enjoy it and subscribe to my channel click, the bell icon and turn on all notifications as well and finally, leave me a comment as to how you use this iPad Pro in your own creative workflow and go over the paper likes YouTube channel I'll leave a link in the video description and give them the same, subscribe bell, icon and all notification treatment, and if you already entered in my previous video, absolutely no worries. All you have to do is subscribe too paper-like, like I, just told new entries, and you're all good to go next up.

I want to tell you how I'm actually choosing the winner here, because I want to make this giveaway process open, inclusive and as fair as possible. So first up I'm going to be randomly picking a proportional number of comments from both of my giveaway videos. Here, my initial. What's new iPad Pro video in this unboxing video as well? So, let's just say the first giveaway video has 6,000 comments. I choose 100 from there and, let's just say this, video gets 12,000 comments.

I'll pick 200 from here and then read through all the comments that I randomly selected thoroughly. You know making sure they're eligible and everything, and then I'll narrow them down to five that I just can't choose between and that's when I will present the five to you and have you vote on them in a community post where you can do polls and stuff so yeah, they don't make it a democratic process, and it'll make it exciting and inclusive for people, even if you're, not winning the thing, and this way I think the best candidate will win this I pin and after all, a thousand minds and more are better than just one, and that about wraps things up here. I hope this video was helpful, stay safe, stay home, stay healthy and, of course, stay tuned for more iPad Pro 2020 content from me. I'd really appreciate it. If you leave a like on this video comment, if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions and subscribe for more content like this and if you're going to subscribe, be sure to click the bell icon and turn on all notifications, the more enthusiasm and views I get in the first hour, I have a video out the better the content and just content in general.

Does this have been the case for the past couple of days, and it makes a world of a difference. So thank you for your enthusiasm. Growth on the YouTube platform is not just a creator effort it's a creator and an audience effort. So the more love you give my videos in the first hours that they're out the better we're going to do on this platform and the sooner we're going to hit 100 and then some. So once again, thank you so much for watching my content and being so enthusiastic lately and as always, I'm Noah, and I will catch you all in the next one.
