Xiaomi Mi 9T: The BEST hardware for $400?

This is the ninety or the read me K, twenty in India, and it's my favorite mid-range smartphone of all time shall we took the nine, which was already kind of a sleeper car superfast under an otherwise dot body and decided to spread out its goodness in other areas that it was lacking in such as the physical design and the battery life. But what makes this phone the best mid-range her and what I consider to be the best value for money smartphone on the market right now, let's find out flagships are expensive and there's no doubt about that, and budget flagships are fast and cheap, but tend to lack in other areas, namely the design, build materials and the display. The ninety combats this stigma that fast, cheap phones have to be ugly or have terrible cameras. There isn't anything overly wrong with the ninety now granted I do have the global version, so that's not running any ads on the operating system, and it does come with the Play Store I see why a lot of people hate on the Xiaomi ads, but on the global version you should be fine, especially in Europe, but it seems to do everything right and at 300 euros. That's no small feat. Take the display, for example, six point four inches: full HD plus AMOLED, no notch, it's a great panel that gets bright, and it looks pleasing and makes the phone a real joy to use couple that, with the executive, looking carbon-fiber, exterior, and you're really onto a winner in my books, these little red accents make the phone feel interesting and not like another boring slab of metal and glass.

The pop-up selfie camera is something that's becoming more common on cheaper smartphones, and it just happens to be here on the 90, slightly off-centre and with a cool red LED. But just because that piece of tech is becoming ubiquitous doesn't mean it doesn't make the phone feel premium. Yeah, sure Xiaomi left out a few things. That might mean a lot to some people. Mil spec and IP ratings are one two would be the Google Assistant button and for me three would be the IR blaster.

Those last two things were found in the 9 I personally found the addition of a headphone port via poor quality, one, the fully complete camera setup and the large 4000 million power battery to all make up for those shortcomings, though, for a phone starting at 300 euros, very few devices will come in and looking and feeling this great now I know a lot of people are going to hate on me, UI, and I'll admit in the past, I've really ranked on it, for it's a horrible toileting interface and to come with a lot of blow apps as well I mean even in the latest version, there's no app drawer on the launcher. Even though me launcher comes with an app drawer, but I digress. Me UI is a significant improvement this time around compared to previous iterations, and it's made me rethink me why, as a whole, I happen to really like the interface and I. Could definitely get used to the aesthetic to get software this good this useful, and this seemingly powerful in combination with such good hardware, would typically set you back double. What shalt me are asking at the 300 euro mark and the software does help out an awful lot towards great battery life.

I've been using the 90 for six days now, and I have never finished a date with less than 30 percent left in the tank. The combination of me--why and the large battery is absolutely killer. I have never used the phone, this low of a price that does battery life this well and I. Don't think that's got much to do with the new system on chip either. Yes, it consumes less power, but you definitely wouldn't know that in fact, I reckon that in a blind comparison between the 855 and the 730, no one would be able to see the difference between the two if they didn't let the specs already even in resource-hungry 3d games, I play a good handful of these games on this thing over the review period, including Minecraft, Pocket, Edition, pub, G, mobile and asphalt night and I didn't have any hiccups.

This thing is just a beast, despite what a spec sheet might suggest and don't even worry about standard stuff like browsing through social media or watching YouTube videos, because this thing's just going to handle everything you throw at it and yes that even includes taking photo and video. This was an area in which I actually expect to hit the mean 90 to fail. But if I'm honest it just got better. The three different focal length cameras on the back did a fantastic job of capturing the moody scenery around me. Even if the weather itself wasn't quite up to the task, the main sensor just happens to be the flagship, Sony IMF, five eight-six sensor, and it did a fantastic job.

Typically, in cheaper phones, the white and telephoto lenses tend to be worse, but in this scenario they happen to be really, really good. Okay, not quite up to that IMF 5xx standards, but still very, very good and wide-angle lenses are like my favorite lenses ever, so you're having this on. A phone of this price is really awesome. Even in video mode. The camera excels and I have to say again.

That was a massive surprise to me. The pop-up selfie camera took some decent shots too, even if the subject wasn't so enthusiastic and from the camera app to the results, I mean I just enjoyed every single minute of using this phone's camera all right. It's not all perfect, as I alluded to earlier. The headphone ports like a really low quality one and the speaker is just plain awful: its bottom firing its mono and it's so tiny. It's ridiculous.

In fact. The audio experience wasn't great, I mean it was usable, but it wasn't great, but to be honest, that didn't matter to me, because the rest of the phone was just of that good for 300 to 350 euros. This phone has to be my top pick. I mean it's crazy. I'd pick this over a lot of smartphones for its versatility.

It's great performance, it's decent software these days, and it's fantastic battery life. This design is amazing and ok. The included case is a little TOI Yi, but the actual design of the phone itself, especially with this carbon fiber. Looking shell, is just absolutely gorgeous. You feel like you're, holding a phone, that's worth a lot more money and the best bit is when you turn it on that feeling continues.

It's very rare these days that you get both of those together like software and hardware and a price of 300 euros. That's going to give you a perfect experience, and this is a gem in a pool of pretty rubbish smartphones anyway, with that, it's probably time for me to go I want to. Thank you all so much for watching.
