Xiaomi Mi 11 Unboxing: First Snapdragon 888 phone!

Hey guys today we will be unboxing the brand new Xiaomi mi 11. So this is the latest flagship from Xiaomi, and it is, I think, the first phone to come with the snapdragon 888 chipsets, so we're going to be unboxing this and see what it's all about all right. So now, I'm just going to take this box out. Oh my god, it's going to be hard. I'm trying guys I'm trying! Okay! Okay! First thing we see is the word Xiaomi, cheating, right and, let's see. What's inside, you get a sim card, ejector uh a phone case, the usual some manuals right, we're going to put this aside.

We have the me11, I'm gonna, peel out the plastic after this we'll see what else is there um? I guess this is not the Malaysian variant since it's like a two pin plug right, but let's see um, it says that where is it? It supports 55 watt max right also, we have an USB cable. Of course. This is how it is. It's an USB, not surprising, uh orange inside yeah, very neon orange all right. So before I peel this off.

There are already a few major features that are listed here, so we have a cinematic megapixel camera um, enhanced night modes, uh who, plus ultimate clear, 120, hertz display. This is an upgrade from the 10. Um. Of course, you get the latest snapdragon 88, chipset and um faster charging. Also, it has 55 watt, wired charging and 50 watt wireless charging, so we're gonna peel this off taxa.

So this is the 11 in all its glory, very smooth back um. I think it's a matte finish. We will talk more about this soon. Okay, so I've just set up this phone, and we are looking at a 6.81 inch, who plus AMOLED display with 120hz refresh rate, so it also is protected by the corning gorilla glass Vitus and on the back, I've said before it's a matte design, but you still get some fingerprint stains. If you actually rub hard enough now on the sides, you get a volume rocker, you have the power button.

The other side is clear. There's nothing here! On the bottom, you get a sim card, tray the charging port and a loudspeaker. Now this phone has an in-screen fingerprint sensor that also doubles as a heart rate monitor, but I think that the feature is not here yet, and it will come in an update, so we're just going to have to wait. Now, apart from being powered by the latest snapdragon 888 chipsets, this phone comes with 8 gigs of ram and 128 gigs of storage. It could be bigger, but this is the variant we're getting, and it runs on mini 12, based on android 11, now Xiaomi kind of not downgraded decreased the battery size, so the mi 10 had a 4 780 William hour battery, but the 11 only has a 4 600 William hour battery, but it does support faster charging.

So you get 55 watt wire charging, 50 watt wireless charging and also 10 watt, reverse charging. Now, let's move to the most interesting part of this phone, which is its cameras, so Xiaomi reduced the number of cameras on the mi 10. We had four lenses on the back and there is a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor, but with the 11 you're, getting a 108 megapixel lens paired with a 13 megapixel ultra-wide lens and another 5 megapixel, tell macro camera, so on the front you're getting a 20 megapixel lens that is um similar to what we saw on the 10. So now, let's take a look at some of the photos we've taken now on um this me 11. I took these 108 megapixel shot with HDR, but without AI you can see.

The sky looks a bit dull in real life. It was much brighter, but the blues are quite nice, and you get a lot of details even when you zoom in like really a lot and some other pictures. It looks okay, color wise. As for the ultra white shots, the colors look slightly better. I feel because the sky looks bluer than it was gray in the 108 megapixel shot, but some may think it's too saturated and if you think so, you can turn off the HDR.

When we look at the tell macro shots. So this one is with the zoom in it supports up to 30 times zoom, and I noticed that when you take the shot, it may seem a bit blurry, but when it is done processing you look at the pictures afterwards, it's clear when we look at macro shots. I think it's really cool because we get to go super close to our subject, so we're looking at a mini cow. That is like one third of my finger size, and you get to see the details really well. So this is a 3d printed model, and you can see that those lines above the cowl- and you can also see that on the batman, the texture, it's really sharp.

So we also took some portrait shots, so we have some without the both effect and some width so with the both effects is actually quite natural, but the cropping is not as accurate. So if you look at this picture in particular, you can see that there is a bit of focus on the controller behind me. Last but not least, we've got selfies on the me11. I think the colors are really nice, and you get a lot of details around your face. Picture, looks sharp overall and there's also both effects, of course, and I think this is better than the one on the rear camera.

So for videography, the mi 11 has an upgraded ultra 9 video. It has this feature called the one click AI cinema that basically uses one click to give you this cool cinema movie effects- and there are some cinematic video filters, but we will try this out in our upcoming review video, alright. So to recap the 11 has a 120hz who plus display a snapdragon 88 chipsets 55 watt charging and 180 megapixel camera. Yes, if you don't remember here are visuals for you to imprint it in your mind, okay, so that is it for our video today. Now, of course, everyone is curious about the price of the Xiaomi mi 11.

The mini 11 is priced at 2799 ringgits for the 128 gig model, but there will also be a 256 gig variant. So if there's anything you want to know about the 11 do. Let us know in the comment section down below, and I'll try to include all of those in the upcoming review: video! That's it for today, if you like this video, give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to our channel kale gadget TV, and I'll, see you in the next one bye, more vita gen.
