Xiaomi AX1800 vs Huawei AX3 [Review + WiFi 6 Speed Test]

Hey, what is up guys Nellie's here from nukes day and today, we'll be comparing one of the best budget, Wi-Fi six Rogers of 2020 to be more specific, I'll, be testing the speed and range of Xiaomi AX, 1800 and Huawei ex-free. Both of these models currently can be found just under $60 and as always, I've leaved all the links and discount codes in the description area down below now. Wobble ado, let's jump into the package of these routers are pretty much the same. You will get a power adapter annual book, router itself and also a network cable of Xiaomi model. To be honest, I was expecting ax 1800 to be bigger, but, as you can see, it's really compact compared to the bigger brother ax 3600, both of my new shaman Huawei routers, look tiny. The overall build quality is an average just a regular plastic.

However, Duty design, Huawei x3 feels more starting hands. Meanwhile, with our style, ax 1800 feels like there is nothing inside which is 80%, I, guess true, but anyways design is designed and let's move to something more important. As soon as you connect all they need power network cables, you will be ready to start the setup process for Xiaomi. Simply download me Wi-Fi app on your phone and follow the set of instructions on your screen within a minute. Ax 1800 was connected and there were no issues at all.

Meanwhile, I have been really struggling with. Who are we X free, as recommended in the manual book? I have downloaded Huawei AI live app, which works perfectly in English. However, I couldn't find a model from list. Neither could it be added automatically by scanning QR code, oh well, due to that I have moved of a traditional way and finally finished by setup on my laptop, although my Wi-Fi app is fully supported in English at the same time as limited, and you don't have access to more advanced settings now, as you connect to the router from your PC, both Shame and highway, currently support. Only Chinese interface might be trouble, but as long as google translator exists, I don't see a big deal here.

Finally, let's do some range and speed tests I'll be using the same six location as in my previous video, so this would help to compare over results, not only between Xiaomi X, 1800 and Hawaii X free, but also with more expensive Shame, an X 5600, of course, I'll be using a Wi-Fi 6 compatible phone, and in my case it is Shame me 10. What number one kitchen area is the closest point from a router just from 1/2 meters away. It is an open area, so there is nothing on a wall that could block a signal when a 5g mode. There is no big difference between all free routers home as we switch to 2.4 gigahertz frequency. While we an X free outperforms over 2 models, even more expensive Shame, ax, 5600, interesting spot number, 2 living room is still been opening area and some around 5 to 7 meters, away from the router results are pretty similar.

As in my first test, however, here Huawei X free max speed even increased, while testing on 2.4 gigahertz mode and drop just died a bit on 5g frequency spot number 3. This is my working dead spot in another room, and it's only 2 meters away from a router in a straight line. However, it's separated by 20 centimeters, concrete wall at this. This location is quite tricky due to the other devices, but my interfere with a Wi-Fi signal, so in vistas, Sham mi, X 56 and was a clear winner on 5g mode, while quasi was still rocking my house on 2.5 gigahertz mode spot number. Four, my bathroom is located around seven meters away and in between, where is a 20 centimeters concrete wall and another once in a meter, glass wall at this spot, 2.5 gigahertz speed drop the madly for Huawei and Xiaomi exceeding 100. Meanwhile, the more expensive a x36 HAND router was a clear winner in both frequency modes.

Spot number 5 this place is outside my union somewhere around 10 meters away and in between were up three walls in total that were blocking the signal just like in my previous video I, wasn't expecting to see high numbers and, at the end, all of these free routers were able to be around 30 megabits per second download. Around 5 megabits per second upload speeds. Spot number 6. This place is actually one level up, which is about 7 meters. In a straight line from a router, a war walls in between are pretty thick Shame X 1800 was not able to connect and perform a speed test here.

Meanwhile, the other two routers did connect. However, speed of Internet at this spot was hardly usable at vistas. I also have checked the signal. Strength of my Xiaomi smart home devices- and here are the results, as you can see from a charger, was no significant difference between shaman who are with routers with the high would still need to rank them first place would go to Xiaomi X 5600 second place to a x8 and 100 and the third one to go away an X free. So what are my final conclusions? Well, even though we like Xiaomi products in general, I have to admit that Huawei XP RAAF impress me with its capabilities and speed results, especially on 2.4 gigahertz mode on this frequency. It has outperformed not only direct competitor, Xiaomi, ax 1800, but also 2 times more expensive, ax 5600 giant.

My only wish, but who are, we will fix very apps, so the setup process would be easier and powering that I think Huawei x3 model delivers a better value for its price. Finally, if you cannot decide if you really need Wi-Fi 6, rather in 2020 check out my previous video, where have compared by 5 5 vs. Wi-Fi 6 and explain more about this new standard being that said, I hope you guys liked this video and if you did, please hit that thumbs up and subscribe for more high quality tech reviews. Thanks for watching this is nails from next deck, and I'll see you next time. You.
