WHO'S FASTER? iPhone X VS iPhone 8 Plus - Speed Test

Hello everyone in this video we're going to be doing a speed test comparison. We're gonna, be testing the iPhone X here versus the iPhone 8, plus, alright guys. So here we go here. We have the iPhone X here, on the left-hand side, let's flip, that over and on the right hand, side we have the iPhone 8, plus, alright, we're going to be doing the speed comparison. Video here to test them both against each other. Alright, so first thing we're gonna.

Do is we're going to boot both of these phones up alright, so we're going to press the power button in three two one: alright, so the iPhone, eight plus they're, showing the Apple logo first and the iPhone eight booted up faster, all right, let's go into the settings, so I can show you we're connected with the same accounts: same Wi-Fi network Bluetooth, off privacy. Location services are off as well on both devices so same Wi-Fi connection, no Bluetooth, all right. We're going to go ahead and the opening a bunch of apps at the same time to see which phone opens them up the fastest and then, at the end, we're going to be running a geek bench test to see what scores each of these devices get all right, so we're gonna start with plants vs. zombies first in three, two one all right so very close looks like the iPhone x1 that one though, just, just by a little all right, so we're going to go ahead to the next app plants, vs. zombies, 2 and three, two one.

All right so looks like the iPhone x1 that one as well just by a mill. Second, there all right. It's go ahead to Pok?mon, go next, all right, so very close there, both of them almost at the same time. Let's go ahead to subway surfers next, so both of them also very close as well almost same timing once again, so let's go ahead to Temple Run next in three two one, all right so almost same timing there on both of them as well, once again, moving on to the next one Temple Run 2 thinking the iPhone hex is just a little ahead there on that one almost same timing, but the iPhone acts just a very small bit ahead next up Clash of Clans and both of them look about the same time. So it takes it out of that.

Let's go ahead to Clash Royale up next yep same timing there as well. These phones are very similar next up, Angry Birds ? same time on both of them as well. I am super impressed. Yes, they definitely do have the same processor and I believe the memory RAM is the same on both of them as well. So let's go to the next app Cross road I do see that the iPhone Hex tall once you tap on an app it opens it up faster, but they load them up.

At the same time as we can see so next up, Candy Crush all right. So it looks like the iPhone heck's won that one just by a little, let's get out of here so now, we're going to do some social media apps. Let's go to YouTube now, iPhone X, just by a little there Netflix up next and the iPhone 8 plus 1.1. Look at that next up, Instagram same timing, next up Facebook and the iPhone x1 that one just by a little, but they're both right there almost same speed. This is the closest I've seen so far.

So next up we're going to go ahead and run that bench. The geek bench test, so we're going to be testing the CPU here. Alright, so let's go ahead and run the benchmark on both devices. You alright! So there we go, looks like both phones finished at the exact same time, and here are the scores I'm surprised by this- the iPhone eight plus actually scored a little higher than the iPhone X. So here we go.

Let's take a look at a little the details here, so the iPhone X is running iOS 11 point 0.1 well, the 8 plus is on iOS 11 point 0.38 of iOS than the iPhone X I'm, very surprised by that the iPhone X being newer, ok, and I'm, seeing the reason why the iPhone 8 plus score higher is because the memory on the 8 plus is two point. Nine point two and the memory RAM on the X is two point, seven two. So that means that the RAM is actually higher on the iPhone, eight plus, and I'm, assuming that it's because the features of the eight plus take up less memory RAM than that of the iPhone X or iPhone 10, so I'm. Guessing all the new features that the iPhone X comes with. The iOS is packed with more things that it has more features than the iPhone A+ and newer features which take up and use up more of the memory RAM to process things.

So that's why you know it actually has less available memory RAM than that of the iPhone 8 plus. Remember this now uses a new feature face. I'd, this is still using the touch ID function. The iPhone X has new camera selfie portrait pictures which the iPhone 8 plus does not, and some other features as well. But this is why I'm, assuming that the iPhone X, is using more memory RAM than the iPhone 8 plus all right, but they do have the same processor Apple, an 11 Bionic chip.

They both come with three gigabytes of memory, RAM. So with all the apps and tests that we opened up, I mean they both o, both open them up almost at the same time, I believe that the iPhone X did open a couple more apps faster than the iPhone 8 plus did, but they were pretty much both right. There hand in hand same speed throughout the entire test, alright guys. So in my opinion, both of these phones do have the same speed as they do have the same processing a11 Bionic chip set, and they both have 3 gigabytes of memory. Ram.

Both devices did both very well on opening apps, so I give these bones a draw. Alright, everyone so hope you enjoyed this video.
