Unboxing Planet's FASTEST Phone - Red Magic 6! By ASBYT

Hi guys it's asset, and today in the studio we have quite possibly one of the fastest phones available. Currently, right now, it is, of course, the red magic 6, and it promises to be one of the best gaming smartphones. But, to be honest, you don't have to game, it might still be great for you. It's not even launched yet, let's dive in so, firstly before we check out the beast, they also sent across a dual-core cooler inside. Of course, you have your manual and your cable, and here is the little cooler which, of course, if you are gaming, you would connect this to the back, just kind of snap it into place, and it acts as you would expect, as a cooling device for your smartphone. So if you are into heavy gaming, this certainly will help you, no thermal throttling peak performance good to go.

We also have a pair of wireless earbuds, and I'm not quite sure whether this is the first pair that red magic have actually produced, but either way I'm excited to test them. And if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I will let you know in a couple of days what I think and in true red magic fashion, there's a definite angry, aggressive gaming, look to the actual aesthetics and look at that. You've got some RGB lighting when you open it up as well. That is pretty funky indeed, and these are the actual buds right. Let's move that to one side and let's focus on the main event, this little bad boy right here so like I said this is, of course, the red magic six, and if we take the lid off, you can of course firstly see the phone we'll come back to that in a second.

We also have in here our type c, two type c charging cable. We have our charging brick, which I believe is 66 watts fast charging. So it's going to be pretty rapid, and then you have your standard manuals and that's pretty much it. So we move all that to one side and now, let's open this little bad boy up- and this is a fairly hefty phone. You certainly know you're dealing with a powerful bit of kit, there's, certainly a decent old chunk to it.

That is for sure, you've got the red magic text here and up here we have a triple camera array, including a 64, an 8 and a 2 megapixel lens, and there is also an 8 megapixel front sensor, buried up here in the top bezel so up front. We have a 6.8 inch, full HD, plus AMOLED display and the max brightness is 630 nits. Now one of the best things about this display is the high refresh rate, and it's higher than a lot of you may have experienced before now. The information that I got sent said it goes up to 165 hertz. I could only find 144 in here, so maybe there's a setting that I'm missing, but still 144 is still incredibly smooth, incredibly responsive and for gaming scrolling.

All of that, goodness, it will look great 500hz single finger, touch, sampling and 360hz multi-finger touch sampling as well. We do have a metal frame sandwiched between glass on the top. We do have a headphone jack, a massive selling point for some people. In today's market, you've got built-in shoulder trigger buttons, power button, also type c charging port sim card tray and your speaker as well- and it does have stereo speakers and on the flip side we have our volume rocker up and down, and we have a special gaming switch which, when pressed it, goes into gaming mode and if you did want to connect your little calling device simply there you go so easy and then, when you turn it on, this will act as a cooling system for your phone and this phone already has a built-in one as well: Qualcomm snapdragon, 888, 12, gigabytes of ram, 128, gigabytes of internal storage on this specific model and a whopping 5050 my battery cell. So, overall it's a pretty compelling phone more information as soon as I'm allowed to share it sub.
