UNBOXING MY BRAND NEW IPAD AIR 2020 4TH GENERATION | + apple pencil 2nd generation

I've been sleeping late and if I'm speaking honestly, my dreams are the only place. I thought of you can't bother me and when hey guys, what's up welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new here my name is Kiara and this video is super exciting because I will be unboxing. The iPad Air fourth generation, along with the Apple Pencil- and I am just so, so excited that I was able to get this gift for Christmas and that I'm able to unbox it with you guys and share with you guys kind of how I'll be using this. In my day-to-day life, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to my parents for gifting me this for Christmas. I am beyond thankful. I want to say thank you to them a million times over, because I've been wanting this iPad literally since it dropped.

Furthermore, I've never had an iPad of my own before, so I'm so excited that I actually have one now and if you're interested comment down below. If you want, like an Apple iPad, customization video- and I can do that- for you guys and with that being said, let's just get into the unboxing before we start. I just want to give a quick little side note. I am in no way shape or form a tech guru. Furthermore, I don't know that nitty-gritty stuff in aspects about technology.

So, if you're interested in like a tech overview of this iPad, I would maybe look into watching another video, I'm just going to kind of tell you guys how I will be using this just unboxing it in my initial review of this product with you guys. This is actually the iPad Air fourth generation with Wi-Fi in the color silver, and I got the 64 gigabytes. I'm mostly going to use this for, like social media, do things on procreate and other things of this sort. So I didn't think I would need the 256 gigabyte one, because I don't think I need that much storage, it's mostly for like notes and like doodles and whatnot. Also, this is the Apple Pencil second generation.

It's the one that works with this iPad. I went ahead and got this one after I received the iPad and I bought this one by myself and, like I said my parents gifted me this for Christmas. Both are super exciting. I wanted the silver because my phone is silver. My computer is silver and I kind of wanted to keep the theme going waiting for the glass shots to come down guys.

It is so pretty, and it's not even out of the box. Yet, oh my god make love like we deserve it to cover up okay. So let's set the iPad aside for now and go ahead and look at what's in the box. So when you first open the box, you just have obviously the iPad, but then underneath this. This is just like all the instructions and the information about the iPad.

But does anyone actually read these? I feel like you should read these, but I'm not going to, and then it has its charging cord and then the charging cube okay. So this is what it looks like and then let's turn it on. Okay. So now I'm just gonna start setting it up, and then English United States set up manually and enter my Wi-Fi. So don't look then we're just going to hit next, and now we're activating it says it's going to take a few minutes to activate the iPad okay data privacy.

What I like about this iPad is that up here at the top, it has touch ID. So I'm just setting up my touch I'd okay. Now we're set up with my touch ID time to create my passcode, and then I'm just going to start this from a new iPad. Since I don't want to really transfer any of my data and then just the terms and conditions. Okay and now we're going to customize, my settings, oh, do I want light or do I want dark? Let's go dark here.

It is welcome to my iPad and then this is what it looks like when you first log into the iPad after having set it up. Okay, so one thing I have noticed is that this is so light like I'm pretty sure this is lighter than the dinner plates I eat with. I want to be so careful, especially right now that I don't have a case because it is just so light. I don't actually know how much it weighs, but I'll put that in right here, so that you guys can kind of understand what I mean. Furthermore, I'm actually going to go ahead and take a little break from that and switch over to unboxing the Apple Pencil and again this is just the Apple Pencil second generation.

It's the one that kind of works with the iPad Air. Let's just go ahead and unbox this one. That way, I can go ahead and use it with my iPad and kind of tell you guys how I feel about this bathroom. While you fall asleep without me and our friends, they say they want it, but they don't see that it's inevitable, and inevitably it is so far like grips very well like I feel like I grip it nicely, but it is just super cute. It just says Apple Pencil over here at the top, and this is just what it looks like very, very close up.

It's supposed to connect to the iPad. I think- oh, oh my god, that's so cool! Oh, I'm so excited I already set up my touch ID, so I am unlocking my iPad and there we go. It has my Apple Pencil already connected with it. My first house will come down just waiting to hear that crashing sound. I found the right words to tell you how I don't want to think, okay, and so what they're saying is that this model, the iPad Air for, is pretty much like the iPad Pro that came out way earlier this year.

But this is pretty much like the same structure same design again it doesn't have the button at the bottom, just like the iPad Pro, and this one is slightly different because it does have this touch sensor at the top and the iPad Pro doesn't and also unlike the iPad Pro. I guess I was too excited to unbox this that I didn't fully pay attention to this, but I'm getting all my fingerprints on here. I went and showed my parents the iPad, because I told them I want to unbox it first and then you guys can see it and play around with it. Furthermore, I was showing it to my mom, and she's, like oh turn it around. Furthermore, I was like.

Why do you want to see the back it's engraved? Can you see it my nickname? They call me kiddo, and I didn't realize- and I was like- oh my god, you're kidding me that is so funny. This one just has one camera and the iPad Pro has like the three cameras. Also, I don't have a case for this. Quite yet it's actually on its way. I just ordered one this morning from Amazon, but I really just wanted to do this video and play around with my iPad.

So I didn't want to wait for my case to come in so the case should come in on Wednesday before the new year, but this is the case that I ordered off Amazon. It has a ton of great reviews, I'm very, very gentle with it. It's like my little baby. I don't want to drop it or anything. I use procreate currently on my phone to make my thumbnails and everything, but I want to get it on here.

Okay, I am going to have to get used to this. I've never had an iPad, so things are slightly different on here than on the phone, but procreate is currently loading. It is right here in this corner. Okay, so procreate just finished downloading, so I'm just going to open it up and check it out a little. I am so excited for procreate.

I use this on my phone so much for like photos, thumbnails drawing and all sorts of things. So that is one thing I'm really looking forward to with this, especially since it is a much larger screen compared to my phone, but procreate is literally amazing. You have all these brushes, and you can add brushes from online and there's just literally so much you can do with this, which is what I'm so excited for. I've been kind of playing around with the Apple Pencil and I noticed that this kind of squeaks, sometimes depending on the way you hold the pencil like, and I heard that sometimes can damage the tip of the pencil. But what I want to buy is like a screen protector for the screen as well, and I know there's a lot of companies that sell screen protectors that feel like you're writing on paper too.

I actually have this one that I got off of Amazon, for, I think like 24, and this is what I've been using on my phone. The reason why I went ahead and bought the Apple Pencil was because this one doesn't have compatibility with my iPad airs, but this one has worked wonders for me for the using procreate on my phone. I've been making all my recent thumbnails with this pencil. So if you do want a cheaper version- and you don't have an iPad check, this one out I'll put the link to this one down below, but I do love how this automatically connects to the side of my iPad, which I think is such a cool feature that it has. So this is the end of my video I am so so so beyond excited and thankful for this iPad and for the Eiffel pencil I have been wanting an iPad for so, so long.

I definitely think I'm going to get my use out of this. Like all the time, my plan is to hopefully use this when I travel and stuff so that I don't always have to bring my laptop with me, especially since this is a lot smaller. It weighs almost nothing which is insane, and I cannot thank my parents enough for their generosity and kindness this Christmas. Let me know in the comments down below if you want to see a customization, video and yeah with that being said, thank you for watching this video. I hope you guys enjoy this and if you did like this video make sure to like comment and subscribe to my channel, because that will definitely help me reach my goals and yeah with that being said, I'll see you in my next video bye.
