What is up guys today. I want to talk about five smartphone deals that you should definitely check out uh, so I want to get started with the Samsung Galaxy s.20 plus I really like this phone, and it sits at around 500 bucks and one of the things that stands out with this phone is definitely the hardware uh. Unlike the s 20 Fe, you can pick this one up, and it actually has a full premium design. So it has a glass back, and I think this one overall just feels and looks better to me in my opinion, so it is ip68 dust and water resistant. You actually have a dynamic AMOLED display on here. It's 120 hertz hdr10, and it's actually a 1440p resolution as well.
So it's a very high resolution display at 6.7 inches 525 for the PPI, so it is a beautiful display. Now you can only use the 120 hertz, I believe at 1080p. Still, I'm not sure you guys have to fact-check me on that um, but yeah, it's a beautiful display, and you can see it has a slight curve, and you also have a punch hole. I just love the display when I spend time with this phone uh. You also have, of course, android 11 on here with the snapdragon 865 in arena 650.
It runs everything like a breeze. It's still, basically a flagship, uh chipset just runs extremely smooth with one UI. Furthermore, it's a ton of features um in this phone as well uh. You also have uh on here great gaming performance. So if that's something you want to do, this phone does play games very, very well.
So I was always really impressed with that, especially with the beautiful display on here. You do get micro, SD support, 128, gigs of internal storage and eight gigs of ram on here as well. So, like I said, the phone really does fly you're not going to miss a beat. So unfortunately, you do not have a headphone jack on this phone. So do note that, but you also have some very loud and crisp sounding stereo speakers on here as well.
Great bass, quality too, so I really enjoyed those NFC is on board, as well as the under the display fingerprint sensor, which also works really well, and you have all of your little bells and whistles like the Samsung desktop support, and you also have reverse wireless charging, so you can charge another device uh with this phone, which is pretty cool uh. This phone also has very good cameras. You have a quad camera set up a 12 megapixel standard, 16, megapixel telephoto, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide and then a 0.3 depth sensor along with AK video and then a 10 megapixel selfie with 4k video. It takes five photos um. You know it takes to me still flagship quality photos, so you can take some excellent photos with this phone and also some very good video good detail, a good color signs.
Overall, I don't think anybody will be. You know not satisfied with the cameras on here. A battery life is also pretty good on here too, it's a 4 500 William battery with 25 watt fast charging, and you also have wireless charging as well. You can definitely get through a four days battery life on this phone, so this is a phone that I would definitely check out if you're looking for a more premium Samsung phone uh for 500. Next is the iPhone 7, it's an old phone, but it has really honestly age like wine right so uh.
It actually goes for around 120 to even 100 bucks one bay, Amazon. I've seen it uh, so I'll put all those links down below, but I still really like this phone. One thing that stood out to me was the body of this phone. I just always loved the full aluminum body on here. I wish apple went back to that.
Furthermore, I thought that was a really cool design um. So you do have the ip67 dust and water resistant on here as well. You have a 4.7 inch, retina IPS display it's a very small phone. So if you're into compact phones, you'll like this 720p plus 326 for the PPI overall for an IPS display, colors are fairly nice, and then you get pretty good brightness. So I didn't have any you know real complaints with the display uh.
What's fascinating about the iPhone 7 is that it runs the latest version of iOS, so you have iOS 14.6, which is awesome, so you can have all of your widgets and all that stuff. So that is really cool that for a cheap price, you get the latest software. You also have the Apple A10 chip on here, which uh is actually pretty still. You know it's pretty it's pretty good for even 2021. I think for phones that you would get at this price point.
I don't think uh they will perform as good as the iPhone 7 and be honest, and they're not going to be on the latest uh software. Unless you, you know, just bought a brand new recent android phone um, but you do not have any SD card support.32 gigs of internal storage is a little low for today's standards. Uh most definitely, and you also have two gigs of ram on here. You also have stereo speakers, which actually sound pretty good as well. No headphone jack, of course, and you also have NFC with Apple Pay, and your touch ID still works really well on this phone um too.
So I was really happy with that, and you'll be surprised that the iPhone 7 actually still takes decent photos at 12 megapixels still. The only thing that has age here is that there's no ultra-wide or any other cameras, but it takes 4k video, 7, megapixel, selfie 1080p. I thought the photos look pretty good in good lighting. So if you're in good light, you could definitely get a really decent shot out of this phone for sure. So you do have on here.
You know kind of weak battery life, a 1060 William battery. I did a whole drain test on this, and you average about like four to four hours and 30 minutes of screen on time which isn't a full day's use, but uh. You know I still like the iPhone 7. I think it's powerful. It's really cheap, pretty good camera good screen, and it's compact I've always liked this phone.
So next is the motor g9 plus. I think this phones kind of went under the radar because honestly Motorola put it out at like 300 bucks or something like that, and it's they slashed it to 200, where the price should be. I think for 200 bucks. This is an excellent phone, especially if you're a Motorola fan, and it's got a lot of unique things going for it. So you just have a plastic.
You know regular design. I think the design looks fine for what it is. I didn't hate it when I got it, I actually really, like the know, brown color on this phone. You also have an IPS lcd it's a massive phone at 6.81 inches. So it's a very big phone 1080p display 386 for the PPI.
I didn't have any problem with the display. I thought the quality of this blade looked really nice. Colors were really vibrant. On here and, like I said, it's a massive phone, so um, it just looks perfect when you're watching videos, you know playing little games casually, and it also has the punch hole on here as well. You get pretty much a pure stock version of android, which is really nice and Motorola throws in their own customization and stuff, like the chop, flashlight and all those little things.
So you do have the snapdragon 730 g in the arena 618 uh, which is perfectly fine for running. You know this version of android bouncing in and out social media web browsing and casually playing games. I had zero issues uh with this phone, so I was really happy with performance. Actually, so you do have micro, SD support, 128, gigs of storage in four gigs of ram, which is really nice, and you also have on here headphone jack, only a single firing speaker. I wish this phone has stereo speakers, but the speaker is decent uh.
You do have NFC on board with a fingerprint scanner on the side mounted with the power button, which is really nice. So I really enjoyed that and the phone's weak point is definitely the cameras. It's a quiet, camera setup, 64, megapixel, standard 8, megapixel, ultra-wide 2, megapixel mac in depth, sensor 16, megapixel, selfie cam at 1080p. Basically, the cameras will give you a good shot in very good lighting. If you put it in any decent or low light.
Uh photos become very soft, and you know it just doesn't do as good as a job as some other phones in this price range, but um. Overall, I think the phone is just still super attractive. You have a 5 000 William battery, which is really nice with 30 watt charging on here as well. So battery life is perfect on this phone. It definitely can get you through a full day of heavy use.
Uh no problem, so I really like uh, the motor g9 plus big display battery pure version of android um. I do like it. I think the best phone on this list that definitely should take into consideration the v60 is still an excellent deal. You don't have to get the dual screen case with this phone, so you can find it for around 400 bucks brand new. You get the dual screen case.
Furthermore, you basically have like two phones in one pretty much uh, so it's got a lot of going for it's such an awesome phone and I have videos on all of these phones if you want to see more in depth uh, but it's aluminum frame, glass, back ip68 dust and water resistant, it's built like a tank. It just feels extremely solid in the hand. You also have a poled, hdr10 plus display at 6.8 inches again another massive phone uh, wider drop notch is 1080p 395 for the PPI. Overall, it's a very nice display. It gives off very good.
Colors are fairly bright, so I had no issues. Of course, with this display you have android 11 with a very powerful snapdragon 865, an arena 650. I don't think you can even get 865 at this price point like brand new, so it is unique when it comes to value because you're getting a very powerful chip. So when it comes to gaming uh going in and out of applications multitasking, this phone is going to be a beast at all of those things. So I always take that into consideration.
You also have micro, SD support, 128, gigs of internal storage and eight gigs of ram on this guy. Now this phone also has some very loud, extremely loud stereo speakers, beautiful quality on here, great mid and highs and beautiful bass quality as well. You also have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack with a quad DAC and NFC is on board, as well as an under the display fingerprint sensor uh one here which works decent uh. It's not uh the fastest that I've tried, but it does get the job done. Uh.
You do have pretty good cameras on here as well. A 64 megapixel standard, 13 megapixel ultra-wide in a 0.3 depth, sensor, 8k video with a 10 megapixel selfie that shoots in 4k uh. So overall I really enjoyed the images on the v60. You get pretty natural colors, a good detail, good selfie camera um. Overall, I was really happy with image quality.
Video is pretty solid on here as well. You also get great battery life, a 5 000 William battery. So it is one of those all-day phones for sure, and you also have wireless charging on board too. So the v60 is definitely a beast at this price point last. Is the Redmi Note 8 pro this is still an excellent device as well um it's going for around 200 bucks, and I've always really liked this phone.
I still keep it around because um I just really love the color that I got on it. It's a beautiful color, it's a glass back on here, so it feels really premium as well. You also have a 6.5 3 inch display it's IPS LCD 1080p 395 for the PPI uh water drop notch. Overall, it's a beautiful display. I had no issues with it.
Um you know, brightness is good. Colors are pretty decent for an IPS panel uh. You do have android 10 on here, mini 12. I believe this is upgradable to android 11 as well. You have the hello g90t on here with the Mali g76 GPU.
You actually be surprised, it's still a very powerful phone when you're gaming and stuff, like that, I am gonna- do an updated gaming test on this phone because um. I just think it's really uh interesting how you know powerful. It is now you got micro, SD, support, 64, gigs of internal storage and six gigs of ram on here or 128, depending on which configuration uh. You do have a headphone jack and you do have a single firing speaker which sounds decent. You also have NFC on board with a physical fingerprint scanner.
On the back. I think this phone still takes some very good photos. You have a 64 megapixel standard, and then you have an 8 megapixel ultrawide with the 2 megapixel macro and depth sensor. You also have 4k video with a 20 megapixel selfie, as you can see from the shots. I think it still takes some pretty good photos.
Pretty good color science uh detail is pretty good. The macro is fun to play with uh. The ultra-wide retains good detail as well. So I was really happy with the overall image quality on here. Still in 2021 uh you do have on here pretty decent battery life, I'm not going to say great a 4 500 William battery uh, which you would think would be better.
But I was averaging only around six hours, which I thought this phone could, should. I should have been able to do around maybe seven eight but um, it's still pretty decent. That is technically all day so uh. What do you guys think be sure to let me know, and I'll catch you guys in the next one?.
