You want answers. I think I'm entitled to your welcome to what gear reviews, if you're, finding this channel for the first time consider subscribing if you like smartphone reviews, headphone reviews and loads of other tech related stuff like this, the mob boy, tic watch pro 3 cellular LTE edition. Now this is the newer version. The previous version was the tic watch pro 3 GPS and just to clarify it didn't have 3g, because that's ancient technology this is 2021, it didn't have any cellular connectivity at all. It was completely dependent on your phone's connection, so this one's very different because it does have that 4g capability standalone away from your phone, which is great, and originally I had planned to do a review on this product. But to be honest with you guys, I'm around about five months too late- and this is one of the disadvantages, our smaller channels.

Have we donen't get these things on release day so, instead of doing a review, I thought why don't I just go in and answer the unanswered questions that you guys put on other reviews in the past, so I went through all those other videos? Looked at all the comments that you guys had and all the questions that you guys asked that weren't answered and what I'm going to do in this video is answer. Those questions. Are you ready? Let's go so question one: what kind of glass are they using on this screen? So in previous models? They use gorilla glass, this time, they're, not using gorilla, glass and mud Roy's statement? Is its a high strength cover glass with anti-fingerprint coating? That's quite unspecific as to what type of glass they're using, but one thing I will say is- and this takes me on to the next question quite nicely- is how hard wearing is this watch? Well, it's got a military standard 810, which is pretty high, which means this thing could take. Quite a few knocks question two: does it have a rotating bezel? It doesn't. Unfortunately, I know a lot of people have asked for that: the rotating bezel to navigate the home screen.

It's really quite a nice feature. We see on other watches. We don't have that here on the tick watch. At the moment we just got the two buttons and, of course, the touchscreen navigation- it's good enough. It would be nice to have that, but unfortunately, at the moment we don't have that.

The next question is the max screen time out settings. So, as you notice here once you don't use the screen for a certain amount of time, it goes deeming, and it goes to the LCD screen that can be quite annoying. Sometimes so a couple of people asked this question. What's the longest amount of time you can have that screen on for within the settings? So if we go here I'll show you quickly, I've got mine set to 10 seconds, but you can go as long as 15 seconds here. Of course, that's going to cause some battery drain so just be aware of that, but I totally get that question.

It does annoy me when the screen times out, especially when I'm filming videos. The next question is: can you change the straps? Of course, you can, it's very easy to do check this out. Little clip right here, strap comes off, here's a watch, strap red and black MKB would be proud of this. One very easy to put this on. I got this from Amazon.

It was a few quid. It wasn't very expensive little toggle on this one and there we go now. We've got a red watch, strap that actually looks really nice. I might do the other one as well. So yes, you can change the watch straps and yes, it's very, very easy to do, and it's quite inexpensive as well.

So next question: can you invert the watch so wear it on the inside? So it's facing your wrist this way and will it affect the tracking? So in fact this actually should be more effective when it comes to heart rate measuring because it's easier to read your heart rate here from the inside. It won't affect like your steps or anything like that. I do think this isn't a problem at all and in fact it might actually be better than wearing it. The other way around, especially when exercising so. The next question is: will it work with iPhone and the simple answer is yes, all you need to do is download the Wear OS app here, connect it to the watch, and you have all the same functionality that you would on an android device, even though Apple probably don't like it very much and would prefer you to buy the Apple Watch instead.

So, yes, it is compatible with iOS. Now one of the questions that popped up quite a lot is: is the LCD watch face customizable? So you see the format we have right here. We've got the 24 hour, clock we've got the date and the month. Hopefully you guys can see that the only way that I know you can customize this particular screen is, if you set the region to a different region where the month and the days are the other way around. So all you can really do here is change the days and the month format.

Apart from that, everything else is the same. You do have the step counter there, which is pretty nice, and this does light up when you raise your wrist, which means it's really visible, even on a bright sunny day. So right now, it's quite dim, but if it was on my wrist and I picked it up, it would light up trying to show you that there you go, and a very popular question is: does it support strata? So the simple answer to that is: yes, it does. I downloaded it from the play store, which is already pre-installed on the watch, and you just search for strata and there you go it's right there. You need to set it up on your phone as well, of course, and sign up and join.

So yes, it fully supports strata. Does it have spo2, so it does in the form of tick oxygen right here. So this will read your blood oxygen saturation level, and it will let you know if anything's wrong. So that's in there. That's pretty cool too and another question that popped up.

Quite a lot is how strong is the vibration motor in this watch? Well, you know what it's satisfyingly strong here, set it to vibrate and finish yourself off okay. So now we've got all the quick fire questions out the way, let's get into some of the other questions that take slightly longer explanations and one of the questions that a lot of you guys asked is: can the tick watch pro 3 receive emojis and the quick answer to that is yes, it can check that out right there and one of the cool things you can do here, which is really cool. If you go to reply, you can do this on the watch, and you can actually reply in an emoji as well so check this out. You hit that and then essentially, what you can do here is drawn the emoji that you want, and it will try and guess, and it will give you some options. So if I just do a smiley face, for example like this, it knows a smiley face, and I could say yes, that's what I want to send, and then I can send that back directly from the watch and I played around with this quite a lot.

Some emojis are quite hard to draw, but the sort of simple faces are fairly easy. Will this watch work with the Huawei p40 pro or mate 40 pro, which I consider to be some of the most beautiful devices from 2020, but one of the downfalls is the fact that we don't have Google apps on there unless you've got a workaround. So the answer to that is yes, and no. So yes, if you want to load up google fire on one of your Huawei devices or if you want to use my little workaround, which I did a video about, and I'll link it at the end of this one, how you can actually use Google apps on a Huawei device within two minutes is super easy to do I'll, link that at the end of this video, but the answer is yes or no: no, if you're not willing to mess around with the software side of things on the device, because you can't get Wear OS on here without a little of tinkering with the device. Now another question that comes up all the time is: can you create your own watch face so within the Wear OS app? You can go into the mob boy app, and here you can actually customize your watch faces using the sort of pre-installed stuff, so you've got a bunch of watch faces to choose and of course, because it's Wear OS, you can download apps.

That will allow you to add more faces, including the one that I'm using right here, which I like a lot and one of the cool things about this. One. Look if I turn off the LCD screen and go with the always on display, so you can bypass that LCD screen, not use it at all and just go with always on this one looks really cool. If you guys want to check this one out, there'll be a little picture on screen right here with the name of this particular watch, face and check that out when it goes into always on it looks pretty cool and it kind of matches the watch strap that I've just used. Now I got this one from watch face, which is an app.

I recommend it's got thousands of watch faces, but if you want to create a watch face with a photograph, for example, this is what you need photo where you can open this app install it on your watch as well, and you can actually use your photo album then to load up photos to the watch face instead of using the sort of standard ones that are pre-loaded or the ones from watch face or any other app. So it's pretty cool want to create custom watch face. Yes, you can do it so this next one's an important one. So, as you know, this is the LTE version of the watch and at the moment in the UK anyway, it's exclusive on Vodafone. So basically you link this to your Vodafone phone number, and then it basically creates a sort of duplicate version of that sim card.

In your watch. It's got an ENIM built in now, if you're thinking about buying one of these globally, you're probably worried if you don't have Vodafone in your country, but there is a workaround funny enough. I did a bit of research into this because this is one of the important questions and important factor if you're considering buying this is will that easing work in your country, so there is a way around and there was a gentleman on the DA forum who figured it out. So just here you'll see his explanation of how to do it, and I'll link that in the comments below, so basically there's a way to trick the device into thinking. Your sim card is a Vodafone sim card when it actually isn't, but the good news is guys mob boy had this issue with the previous tic watch, and it was resolved pretty swiftly and there was a setting added to the software where you could switch the cellular provider.

Maybe they have a deal with Vodafone where they get exclusive rights to it at the moment. But if you really need that e sim to work straight away, then there is that method which I mentioned from DA forums. Does it have ECG? Unfortunately, this watch doesn't have ECG, so that's an electron electrocardiogram. It can give you a sort of early warning if anything's not quite right, but there is a cool feature here within the app, so you can actually go to the tick pulse here you can go to settings on tick pulse, and you can actually set alerts. So you set your normal range for your heartbeat and if it goes above or below, the watch will actually notify you if your resting heartbeat is unusual.

So that is a perfect way of alerting yourself if something's not quite right, it's not quite an ECG, but it's an option that you have with this watch and here's another question that came up quite a few times and again. This is for you guys around the world. How many languages does the watch support and basically, when you set the watch up, you get to choose the country that you're in and pretty much every language that Google supports is supported by this watch, because it is aware OS watch. So when you set up the device first time just make sure you choose the country, and you should be good to go all right now. This one is an important one to a lot of you guys out there can you play tracks offline from Spotify or any other streaming service on the watch and at the moment the answer to that question is yes and no- and I say no because Spotify doesn't actually let you do that within its own app and Google haven't created a YouTube music app yet for Wear OS, they used to have the play music, which is now discontinued, and that did support offline music.

But now we don't have anything at the moment, except for Spotify. These are not available and, like I said before, Spotify doesn't let you do it, but there is a workaround check this out. There is this app called nav music. If you install this app, essentially what it does is it acts as a third party for Spotify and will actually allow you to save your Spotify tracks temporarily on your watch so basically download the app and nav music lets you play and transfer music on your phone or watch and there's a few things we need to do to get started. For example, here we need to install nav music on the watch itself, and now all we need to do is log into our Spotify account, and then we're good to go.

We can then start storing tracks offline on the watch, which means, if you're going for a workout, you don't take your phone with you. You've got your Spotify tracks, pre-loaded on your wrist, so my personal opinion on the tic watch pro 3 LTE is fantastic. The fact that you can basically use this without your smartphone is a real game. Changer a lot of watches. Don't really do that.

The fact that you can customize it as much as you want with Wear OS is a big deal too. I hope I've answered all the questions you guys might be thinking about if I've left any out.
