iPad Pro 12.9” (2020) Nine months later…NO REGRETS! 💜

Hey guys welcome back to my channel hope, you're all doing well and staying safe. So with the recent news of the upcoming 2021 iPad pros coming out soon, iPads in general have been a hot topic. I wanted to share my experience with my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 inch so far. If anything, this video may be geared towards those who don't have an iPad, especially one that is not compatible with the magic keyboard. I believe iPads are amazing devices for a multitude of reasons from general computing content creation, productivity and more iPads provide a user experience like no other, even more so when combining it with iPad's magic keyboard. For your reference, I do have the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 inch with 256 gigabytes of storage. When I made the decision to go back to school in the early half of 2020, I wanted to ensure I had the optimal tools needed to make my school experience better.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is exactly what I needed in regard to portability and performance plus being able to perform note-taking and annotation was a big plus adding the magic keyboard has made it an almost laptop replacement. My old windows laptop at the time was not cutting it. Nine months later, the iPad still performs just as well, if not better, since first using it, I see no signs of slow down or degradation whatsoever. The experience of getting work done, the Apple Pencil, writing experience and utilization for everyday use has been a delight. The 12.9-inch screen size is the perfect size for being a tablet, but also when transforming it into an almost laptop I've told a few people in the comments that, if it wasn't for having an iPad Pro, I would have opted for the m1 MacBook Air. As my portable device, though I initially bought it for school, it has been great to use for work granted.

Not all aspects of my work can be performed on it, but certain things like checking emails, document creation or attending zoom or Webex meetings can happen seamlessly with the iPad Pro check out. My previous video regarding utilizing the iPad Pro with the m1 Mac mini, as I won't dive into too much detail here about it. The iPad Pro supplements my m1 Mac mini very well, whether it's utilizing sidecar or Luna, display to continuing work on compatible apps seamlessly from one device to the other. Utilizing devices within the Apple ecosystem makes it pretty hard to stray away from. There are tons of videos regarding all the cool features that the current iPad Pro has to offer, such as pro motion technology.

Great camera features face ID support for trackpad gestures when on the iPad, magic keyboard or using a magic, trackpad split screen slide over and more having an iPad in general is great, but having the latest iPad Pro models or even an iPad Air 4 makes it even better, since you have compatibility with the iPad magic keyboard and 2nd generation Apple Pencil. With that being said, if you are already in the market for an iPad, I do recommend at least waiting for the updated 2021 iPad models to release. Unless you are in a situation where you need one right, this very minute, then by all means get what you need right now. The rumored features of the upcoming iPads sound amazing, such as the mini LED display for the new 12.9-inch iPad pros, hopefully an upgraded chip and possibly a new version of the Apple Pencil. I do hope to get my hands on the updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro to do a comparison with the 2020 model. Oh, by the way, this whole video was recorded on my iPad Pro's internal mic.

So I hope you enjoyed the video if you made it to the end, please let me know in the comments what iPad you have or which iPad you are planning to get. Please also leave a like and subscribe for more content like this thanks guys and take care.
