Three Years Later - Pixel 2 XL Review By umity

You might have already heard about Google's pixel film line up their latest flagship is the pixel 4, but let's go back in time and look at one of their flagships that launched long ago, it has been almost three years since the pixel 2 XL, launched and since then had seen his fair share of controversy. Despite all of that, this phone has been my daily driver for the past year and a half. If you know about the pixel 2, then you probably know about its camera and how good it is, and I can't deny those claims. It truly is great I'm, no photography expert, but the fact I can easily get a good shot with the pixel to Excel is amazing to me, it's a bit mind-blowing like Google's processing software can achieve just look at the way portrait mode blurs the background and keeps the subject in focus. Then it actually took me a while into my usage of the phone to experience the black smearing. It only happens when something black is on your screen and the screen is out its dimmest brightness setting. Is it that annoying not to me, it's rare that I would even have my brightness that low I just wanted to highlight that this issue does exist and, let's not forget one of the big issues. Burning early on people reported that their pixel to Excel screen was already experiencing burning, not very reassuring at the time.

If you wanted to get the phone, but in response we will decrease the max brightness of the screen. I haven't seen any instances of burning yet on my phone and I have had it for almost two years: good signs, I suppose. Even with all that said, the screen never bothered me I. Think the screen is good, and it's colorful. Maybe it doesn't match up with the Samsung's or apples if I never noticed.

Okay, now it's time to take a step back and put the pixel to excel in the context with the rest of the smartphone market in 2020 and, to be honest, not much has truly changed from the three years that the pixel 2 came out. Phones are becoming bezel lists, causing manufacturers to figure out creative ways to handle the front-facing camera, we're almost at the end of Google's, guaranteed update support for the phone as well. In my opinion, the pixel to Excel has held up well against time in is still great phone. There aren't many Android phones that have a bunch of great features like an amazing camera or clean software at this price range. If you can get this bone for around 100 to 120 dollars and even $200, it would be a steal.

Just keep in mind the guaranteed updates support that ends soon in 2020. The pixel to Excel is a great option for a more budget phone. You.
