TCL 10PRO Leather Flip Cover Case Review!!! | Tobin Moyano By Tobin Moyano

Guys, when you're back on another video, and today I'm going to be reviewing a case from TCL, this is the official TCL 10 pro transparent edges, flip cover case so yeah, let's hop straight into the video okay guys, it's a very standard unboxing, but what's pretty cool is we do have some TCL branded tape here on the side, but it was a very simple experience. All you got to do is just lift the tape and then pull out it. And, of course we have our leather flip cover case straight out of the box. That's it no paperwork, nothing else open it up there. We go very nice soft material. On the inside of the case, then we have our designed by TCL communication right here at the bottom.

It is a very open case not really a very closed. Like rugged case. This is a very open and exposed case and of course we have our flip cover leather portion here, AI button, cutout or little cover there. TCL brandy on the back camera cut out, looks pretty nice. Very nice leather feel feels very good in the hand and then, of course, we have our transparent, cutout right here for our transparent settings on the TCL 10 pro guys.

So this case is for the TCL 10 pro. I have the ember green version right here in hand and of course we have a curved glass display, and we don't want to be shattering that we don't want to be ruining this very nice green design here. So we definitely don't want to be damaging that, so this case is around 30 on Amazon. It is an official licensed, TCL 10 pro product. This comes straight from DCL, which was kind of strange because they never made anything like this for the gcl10l.

They only had one for the gcl10 pro so overall I mean this leather feels very nice. It's like a very genuine leather case. Um we're going to go ahead and stop the phone in, like I said it's a very exposed case. So if you go ahead and look we're, definitely going to be able to see that ember green color still just snaps in easily like that, and yes, that ember green color is still exposed there, and that looks very nice as you can tell there, and then we go ahead. We have our case.

I guess we can go ahead and shut. It opens up on command turns on the phone. Has some magnetic signals there, especially that compatibility with the TCL UI of using that smart cover mode in your settings which we'll go ahead and dive into everything, looks very good. Camera cut out is very nice. Go ahead and check that out, camera cutout looks very nice definitely raised, definitely won't be hitting that on anything, definitely won't be scraping up your cameras or anything.

Then, of course our display is fully covered, as you can tell, our display is fully covered by the case, which is going to give that very, very good protection if it falls flat onto the ground. Um overall case isn't magnetic, so it does fall open, but it is a very like nice, slim port, folio flip cover case. So it's slim, so it's definitely not going to add bulk to your phone at all. So that's a very nice benefit to the case. Like I said, our cutouts are all good because we have this open case.

Our buttons are fully exposed. So you definitely aren't going to be missing that um button feel of your TCL 10 pro buttons, and you definitely aren't going to be missing able to have access to those ports. At top. We do have cut out for the um headphone jack and an IR blaster and microphone. Those are little cutouts there, so you might have some trouble using the um micro uh headphone jack aux port on the tcl10 pro with the case just because maybe some of our little headphone jack things won't fit into there, but everything else is exposed, which is very nice.

Everything else is very exposed, so I will actually be able to plop this out of the case if it's charging you'll be able to plop it out of the case and plop it into the case without taking out your charging cables. That's very nice, so everything looks very exposed. That green color looks very good with this leather case. It just does um and I think it's exposed, but it's its sturdy enough to be exposed where I don't think I'm gonna worry about it being exposed at all, like I don't think it's going to get damaged because we have a very nice big lip right here which is going to protect it from corners. So that's definitely a very, very.

Very nice touch. TCL did a very good job with this grittiness of the side. Here it's more of a silicone and then, of course, this is all leather, and this leather feels very nice guys. This is a very genuine like this is apple leather status case. This is apple case leather status.

That's how nice it feels. Okay, guys we're going to go ahead and dive into the settings. Go to our display down to flip cover mode, we're going to go ahead and have that on, as you can tell, we have our option for always on display. So if I go ahead and shut the phone there's our always on display, it is displaying our time date and notifications and our battery percentage. That's very nice, go ahead and open it up turns on the phone face unlock.

We can go ahead and toggle that on and off then we have our display preference, which is read from left, so you could have it where it's reading like this, or you could have it. Reading from the right, I personally like to write, go ahead and do our flip cover image. You can go ahead and preview these inside of the app location, um settings, so we have different planets here too bad. We can't import our own images. We can have it shuffle through all the following images, or you can select the different planets selected there we go earth.

So this is that's a very nice touch, we'll go ahead and put it on earth um. So now, when you don't have the always on display on the way that you're going to be able to toggle, this is maybe just pull your phone on your pocket and click that on button, when you click that on button, it's going to display your time notifications, and it's going to display your picture and your very nice battery percentage right here. So this is the ideal thing if you have this on your desk, that's cool, and you want to maybe just take clips at the time and maybe see if you have any notifications, just click the on button. It's going to show you it is just like this. It's going to look very nice very flush.

I think TCL did a good job with that. So ideally, it's just like a quick pull it out of your pocket check the time turn it off, or you can have that always on display, so you're always going to have it on, and you'll always be able to just have a quick glance. If you have any notification or anything like that, so that's pretty cool um. It feels very nice. It looks cool.

I think the back definitely looks the best. If you guys watch my TTL 10 pro review, I did have the case on it. I did use the case. You get this case a little of a while ago. It's a very nice case, so I'm definitely enjoying the feel of the leather.

Definitely very drippy, everything's very high quality hinge doesn't seem like it'll break anytime, soon looks very high quality. Of course, we have that really nice AI button little print there and everything just feels like very nice and well-built, but like this is what I said guys. This is an apple leather case status. This is apple leather case status. This is a 30 phone case straight from TCL.

We already saw it said it was designed. This is the official TCL 10 pro case, and I think it's definitely worth 30 camera very, very, very flush in there definitely definitely definitely won't be scratching up that camera system right there. So that's a very nice touch that they added to the case and of course it only comes in black. So if you're in any other color person only black- and I don't know- I think it's cool with the green, because it definitely has that that green little um detail there. That shows um.

If you have the black phone, it's just going to be a very black on black thing. So, if you're not into having something stand out, then you'll, you'll be fine. With that, okay, so definitely can use it as a stand kind of- I guess, if you just set the phone- it's not really. You know they don't really advertise it as being able to be used as a stand, and I'm finding out now that you can't use that. So apparently, you can't use this as a watching content which is kind of lame, but since it's such a thin since it's such a thin flip cover case, there's no wallet or anything there's nothing to slot.

I get. I guess you could just slap like cash there and then just close it, but I don't know if you would trust that, because that it could definitely fall out. So I don't think you can use this as a wallet, but at least you have protection for your screen from dust and stuff like that, we have a very good cutout here on the top for our over to your microphone. So you could talk on the phone. You could talk on the phone with the case closed and just hold it up to your ear.

So that's pretty nice, but definitely you can't use it for money. Definitely wouldn't trust. Putting any money in here probably would fall out, but I think that this leather feel makes up for all of that. We also did the TCL TV on the channel, so we have a lot of tcl techs and a lot of TCL products coming on to the channel so that I guess that's our yearly products. TCL is definitely the channel product.

That definitely was a big game changer for the channel and definitely helped me a lot. So what do you guys think about this case?
