TCL 10L - Ultimate Video Test!

Hello there, everyone, my name's, Dave West I, hope we're all doing well, let's welcome back to the ultimate video test and this time we're checking out the brand new TCL 10l. It's a budget smartphone which costs just a hundred ninety-nine pounds to be released in the UK very, very soon Oh case you're, wondering um TCL. Ah, I'll leave a link in the description to the website. You can check out who they are but ensure. I can tell you that they are one of the biggest brands for TVs over in the US, but they're now looking to make a name for themselves all over the world, with some brand-new smartphones and in this video tests. Are you gonna? Show you exactly what you get for a pound shy of 200 quid noise with all odds with video tests.

I leave all the main camera specifications down in the description, and I'll just run through some high-level features throughout the video to help save your live tight so start with the front facing camera. Then- and this is a 16 megapixel fixed-focus camera- it can record video or up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. It has electronic image stabilization and right now this is launch software or pre-launch software. Rather it really records audio in mono sound at the moment now the phone is capable of recording in stereo. Sound I've tried it with third-party application.

It does some really, really good, but in its current state the audio is lacking a bit in nitrate and obviously, whether it be a mono you're lacking the kind of spatial sandwich would lend itself well to this kind of environment. Let's press on, though I will show you exactly what the front-facing camera can do. So, let's just check out handles James, but that's about sampling me see how quickly I just spin around yeah. Now we have got ideal conditions, graduated, so he's going to flatter the camera, somewhat image stabilisation, and hopefully you can see there. That gives you a good idea of how the electronic image stabilisation works.

It helps to keep the image nice and smooth as I move around this an even mountain site. So that's the front-facing camera, and we'll show you the rear cameras now and show you what they can do. Okay, so kicking things off or on the read of a handset then, and the TCL 10l as a primary 40, megapixel autofocus camera, and this can record video at up to 4k at 30 frames per second now, just like the front-facing camera at the moment later on camera or video. So far, okay, so, let's check out the reasonably quick to readjust objects, which is cool as well appreciate the detail of. What's on name, you can do it two times.

I think is very respectable and as we start to do it a bit more and a fight time is okay image stabilized they can help to frame things that work better anything kind of beyond five times, I think so there is autofocus and digital zoom from the rear, main camera, so switch to the auto I camera now, and I'll show you- and this is a 16. It's all fixed focus. Camera has with most ultra white sensors. Now the video resolution on the ultra-wide lens is CAFTA 1080p at 30 frames per second now, whether that's going to be changed in future updates, I'm, not sure, and again it's mono sound recording, and it does benefit from electronic image stabilisation, just like the main sensor. So as per usual, everything looks really nice when you're watching it through the viewfinder, as it's recording as you're going to be watching this back.

You, let me know what you think of the quality from the rear ultra-white lens it's great to have this kind of feature at this price point, and as this is kind of running on pre-launch software, things can only be improved and get better. Now. One thing to note is that, with the ultra-wide lens, you can toggle on off ultra-wide lens distortion correction, which is great and that stops the kind of barrel effect or kind of slope inside that you sometimes get with ultra wide-angle cameras, so I'll just continue down under this tree. This tree has been in so many photos, it's incredible any time of day, and we can see now, as we just moved through here. We can see how the ultra-wide camera handles this kind of cool, sunny, shadowy sections right here.

The thing I do need to mention in so far as video recording goes is that you can't switch these lenses on the go. You have to stop recording between using the main and the ultra wide-angle lens again that may be Center, which can be fixed or added in a future firmware update. But you, let me know what you think of the video from the rear ultra-wide camera. Look at the Sun. You can see how the foam handles changes in exposure I think to be honest, looking through the viewfinder, it does a great job, but you be the judge, and you let me know what you think of the finished video as you're, watching it now alright.

So there we go, then that's the end of the ultimate video test for the TCL 10 L only 499 pounds, so just enough variety of features in its video feature set and the actual recording is pretty decent. Given the price point. But as always, you be the judge, and you let me know what you think of the video recording on this 199 pound smartphone. As always, if you've got any questions or comments about the video, then please leave those down below in the comment section, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Out of the gate, if you're new here, and please do consider subscribing, so you don't miss more content killing on the channel very, very soon, but for now this be my ultimate video test for the TCL 10 l.

My name is Dave West I'll catch. You guys later.
