TCL 10 Pro Review - IS IT WORTH THE PRICE? BEST BUDGET PHONE 2020?

Today we are reviewing the TCL 10 Pro. Now, while there's some good things about it, there are some other things that are our cause for concern: cue, the intro, so this review is gonna, be a little different from other reviews. I'm not gonna, sit here and read specs all day long, nor am I going to sit here in it pick every single little thing: I am basically just going to cover the things that average consumers care about and pretty much after this you will know whether you want to buy this phone pretty much. This phone looks like a mix between an OnePlus device and a Samsung device. It does have curved edges on the front for the display and on the back for the cover and pretty much with that I kind of like it, but I kind of don't so. If you're someone that does not like curved edges, this phone may not be for you.

If you're someone that loves curved edges, then you probably might want to pick this up. This display has to be the strongest feature on this phone. I mean you're, getting the always-on display. You're. Also getting an N display, fingerprint reader, which is quick and the only time you'll run into an issue is if the phone is wet or if your finger is wet.

The HDR content on this phone looks amazing, with movies and with videos. My only drawback with this display and that color is the fact that the colors are super saturated. If you go to take a picture, if you go on social media, even if you go to certain YouTube videos, the colors are so strong and over saturated that sometimes it'll make you a little sick. Looking at it and now moving on to battery life simply put battery life on this phone is awesome. Okay, the 4,500 William hour battery that is in this phone will easily last you two days, even if you don't push it that hard.

So, along with that battery life, you also are getting fast charging inside this phone and, to be honest, I took this phone down to maybe about five or six percent a couple of days and all I had to do was just put it on the fast charger which TCL includes inside the box, and I was back to 50% within about 30 to 40 minutes now. Another thing I wanted to cover about this phone is the gaming aspect. Okay, can't you game on this phone. How good is the gaming? The gaming is actually quite decent. Pretty much 99% of games that you are gonna play on this phone are going to run perfectly fine.

You're, not gonna, have any issues with them. The TCL 10 Pro does have a built-in gaming mode that automatically turns on as soon as you start a game and, to be honest, it handles pretty well, this phone would get warm, but it would never get super hot so as far as gaming. This is something that you can get for your kids, and they can game all day or if you like to play games, you can get this phone and play all day now. Moving on to cameras, the cameras on this phone I would say our average well, except the macro camera that camera is legit like. If you take pictures with that macro camera, and you're in some good light, you can get some really awesome macro photos also.

I have to mention that this is pre-production software. So there are things that could change and there could be updates, but I am judging this phone based on how it was sent to me, but just to keep things interesting, I decided to do a side-by-side comparison with my iPhone 11 Pro Max to see if there was really a difference in 500 dollars between these two phones. Alright, here is a test of the front-facing camera and the audio on both cameras. So that way you can hear the difference between the two and guess which phone is which let me know how the audio sounds all right. Let's just be honest, this camera is terrible.

Okay, the video on this TCL is bad, and it needs some help. It really needs some help, but yeah, that is the camera quality you are getting out of the TCL 10 Pro. Let me know what you think down in the comments below and moving right along. We got to talk about price, alright, hey you all! This is trend from the future. Do not pay 450 dollars for this phone? Just don't do it.

It costs too much. The first thing that needs improvement on this phone is the selfie camera. The selfie camera that comes on this phone is a 24 megapixel camera, but for whatever reason, when I take selfies with this phone, the clarity is so off, like the pictures are so soft. It's a software thing. The software for this camera is not properly tuned.

In my opinion, it's something that TCL can fix over time. But if you go on Twitter and you go on other places, people have taken the G cam app, and they have put it on this phone and the pictures look amazing. The second thing that needs improvement on this phone is the fact that you are getting a single firing speaker on a phone that is called pro I, don't care if its budget mid-range, expensive flagship, whatever you want to call it. If you got pearl in your name, and you don't have dual speakers, or you don't have you know stereo speakers, please take pearl off of the name and just don't do it: okay, at $450. If this is the type of sound I'm going to get out of the phone, that's called Pro I'll just go ahead and get a 10 L.

If that's the case, and I'll save the money. That is what I would do so for the pro lineup for the pro phone. There needs to be more to it, in my opinion, but yes, those are the improvements. I feel like need to be made for the phone. Otherwise, you know things are great.

Has IR blaster has a headphone jack has a lot of stuff that other flagships don't have put on a side note. There is a small issue where TCL does have a watermark on their photos when you first get the phone, and this made some people upset that can be a bit annoying. So TCL is working on an update that is actually going to flip that around to where the watermark is off by default. But if you want to turn it on, you can so to answer. The question is this phone for the average consumer? Yes, it is, and the average Boomer would be totally fine with this phone for, like 98% of the stuff, with the phone, okay, I think the price once again is a little too high and there are some other people out there.

That totally agree with me, but let me know down in the comments section below. Would you pay four hundred and fifty dollars for this phone once it comes out? Or would you wait until there's a lower price, or do you think TCL is charging too much? Thank you guys for watching, and thank you TCL for sending out this phone I greatly appreciate it, and hopefully, I can review more stuff like this in the future. Otherwise, you all take it easy see you later peace.
