Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Sony Xperia 5 II Review

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech, and today I am back with another big unboxing for you for the Sony Xperia 5 to the two, and today we got a brand-new screen protector from super shield to unbox do a quick review. As always. You know, I thought the link in the video description. If you want to check it out, pricing is gonna, be about 12 bucks on this one really cheap. You got a two pack on this one, I'm not really sure if it's going to be full adhesive, but we'll check it out together to see if there's going to be a hit or miss for your brand new Sony, Xperia 5, 2 presentation really nothing to it, got a little uh branding up top, and you can tell what it's for and that's pretty much it. So we got a little open tab right here.

So, let's get right to it. I know everybody's looking for a screen protector for your brand-new phone, not really too many options. I guess there's a few options out there, but I've always been a decent fan of super shields. If provided even with the non uh, full adhesive screen protectors, they've been probably one of the better ones, that's been available, and they do provide screen protectors for a company, or you know for a lot of phones that really aren't available to everybody which is kind of nice. Let's go and see what we get here.

Put that to the side. Installation tool kit looks like you get a two pack anytime you're, getting two for the price of really one of the big boy companies. That's a nice thing. You got your alcohol prep pad. You got two of them, got your uh microfiber cloth.

Furthermore, you get two of those as well very nicely done to wipe it down, wipe it down. Furthermore, you know how we do dust removal sticker. Furthermore, you got a two pack of that as well, very nice cool, and then you got your main feature right here and that is gonna. Be your screen protector. Now I can tell you from my first impression: this is definitely not gonna, be full adhesive.

This is gonna, be the ones that just has the adhesive on the borders on the black borders top and bottom and the sides, so really you're, not getting any type when I say adhesive you're not getting any type of sticky glue material on the interior, so that really does indicate some quality of the screen protector. In my opinion, you don't get that full natural to the touch kind of feels, maybe a little hollow a little cheap versus some of the other ones that have really nice screen protectors. They got that full glass feel to them, but it is what it is we'll deal with it and see how it looks. Some of them are better than others. It's going to take the microfiber cloth to wipe it down, wipe it down like we do cleaned it up.

Real nice for the camera. Take your time on these get a two pack, so that's actually nice! Then what we'll do? There's? No there's, not an insulation tray, which is a negative. Let's be honest, that is a negative, but hopefully we'll do this without any problems. Take the microfiber cloth. We already did that we're going to actually take the alcohol prep pad and wipe it down, don't be afraid to get all up in it sides corners top bottom.

Take your time on the skies. That's the most important thing, get some good lighting too. That's another key to this type of thing. I know about you guys whenever I do this, and even when I'm behind the camera, this is tough. I'm not gonna lie about this.

So sometimes I miss a lot of time. I would say a lot of times. I miss a piece of dirt dust, and I'll go to work. The next yeah I work. I like you guys.

I go to work the next day and I find myself looking, and I'll see a little piece of dirt particle underneath the screen protector, and it drives me nuts, the OCD kicks in, and I hate it. It drives me insane I'll, be so take your time on these, it's a little more tough to do behind the counter of an actual camera itself. So then wipe it down with the microfiber cloth, make it look clean that should actually give you a nice plate to start out with then we'll take the dust removal sticker. You got lots of them to deal with, so we'll keep the big boy right here, we'll take that out and then kind of just start your way at the top work, your way down again, get it all going, get it get it take your time on this, and that should give you a nice starting point when you're done with this, don't just throw it off to the side. Just put it close to you, because you might need it.

If you see a piece of dust that gets in there before you actually install the screen protector all right, so then you got your top right here. You can see your cutouts are actually going to be where the camera area is so that should be pretty easy. With the alignment take that off like this and then again what I'm going to do right there. You can see that right there that camera line it up to the sides boom there. We go, then what I'll do is take the microfiber cloth, work out the air bubbles, and then I'll seal, the adhesive on the edges boom.

There we go and when you first get this here's what I've noticed with these with the non you when you first get it is'll feel pretty nice. But then what will happen is it'll kind of becomes also a fingerprint magnet, and I don't know what that is about it, but it's kind of feels like a fingerprint magnet, but I will say: let's go and check out the light blue when I say light bleed anything on the edges. If there's any type of light that comes off the sides of the actual screen protector, that's called light bleed this one does not have that issue. You do get the black border on the edges, so that's cutting that off a little and then the bottom as well. So very nicely done.

You can see the cutout right there on the screw protector around the actual camera looks good, so this one looks good. I would say it's got a decent feel to it doesn't have a hollow feel to it at this point feels pretty natural to the touch. So overall I have to say with my first impressions: if you're looking for a screen protector right out of the gate, and you need one right away, I would have no problem recommending this. I don't know of how long it's going to last me before I start getting a little irritated with the actual non-glue on the interior of it. Will it get a rainbow effect, and I'm talking about rainbow effect, you'll notice on ones that don't have glue in the middle of it? You'll get some type of rainbow effect like a smear look to the interior of it.

This one may get that, but my first impressions overall, I think it's decent enough to recommend for that price point, especially getting a two pack you're getting your screen protected for under 12 bucks. Overall, I'm going to say it's a hit. I can't say it's a big hit. It's just a hit, maybe even a mini hit, just because the lack of full glue. Let me know your thoughts on the comment section.

Is it a hit? Is it a miss we'll say, hit the subscribe button? I'll see you guys next time you.
