Spigen Tough Armor Case For OnePlus 8T Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech, and today I am back with another big unboxing for you for the OnePlus 8t, and today we're back with the case from speaking. This is going to be the tough armor series to unbox do a quick review. As always, you know I'll, throw up the link in the video description. If you want to check it out, the pricing is about 15 to 17 bucks on this one got the black version, so this one should look perfect with either that green or the silver. I don't think you have a problem with either one of these looking good, but this is going to give you some big boy protection for under 20 bucks, so you really can't beat that, but we'll check it out as well. I do get the official tempered glass screen protector, so we'll see if it's compatible with this one, the other two uh cases that I've done from speaking have been surprisingly compatible with the official tempered glass screen protectors, let's go and check it out presentation.

Let's not talk about that! Nothing! To talk about you get a little tab up top, so, let's bust it open like this to see if it's a hit or miss speaking usually makes a pretty nice case for the value. You can't go wrong. That's why a lot of people get these cases, and they become so popular got some uh. I got some literature here. Gotta! Stick it in! We don't need that.

We'll put that to the side, all right, let's go and check this out, so you got that matte black finish very soft to the touch. Fingerprints, probably not probably gonna, be resistant for the most part. I can see where you would. This material is very soft to the touch it's kind of like a hard shell plastic, but it's got a layer over a coating layer that gives you a nice premium, feel to it, and then it transitions from that material to the actual rubber bumper. That kind of goes around it's a two-part case.

Really you can pull that off if you want to, but that's actually going to go transition around the bumper area as well. Um sides grip wise, it's the same material as the back. I wish that it kind of gave you a little more grip. I can see maybe why they just wanted to keep it smooth just to kind of transition from the same material, but I wish they kind of would have give you a little more grip now that material is not slippery, but it's just not quite as drippy as I would like got a kickstand right. There got a sign logo and then right there as well, so just a nice little addition and I like how it tucks away.

So it's not going to be wobble. I hate these kickstands that you get, and they're just in the middle of the phone and then just kind of you put them down, and this completely wobbles on your desk at work and it just it's to me. It's really inconvenient just kind of annoying to me. That's a little gripe into the rant there, but overall interior got the nice little padded. The yellow's got the padding right there to give you that nice texture around the actual bumper area as well.

You get the same material that feels like you're, going to get some nice protection all the way in the bumper area as well. So just a nice build quality very nicely done from sign. So we'll pop this right. This and let's check it out here, got the uh one plus official, probably still my favorite case, the carbon fiber case, carbon bumper. I think that's what they call it.

Let's take that silver. Let's give it a little moment of its dude to shine. Look at that thing shine. This is a beautiful color! I don't really know you can go wrong with the matte finish: it's the glass, the kind of no fingerprints. You know you can, if you almost won't hate putting a case on it.

I used to hate. I love cases, but I hate to put a case on this one, because it's so beautiful, it's tough too. You know what I'm saying all right. Let's pop it into place, stop going off on this little tangents here all right boom all right. So that looks good that black again, you can see just a little of that silver gray.

Popping through no issues at all there camera cut out. Look at that camera cut out very nicely done. Look how much camera protection you got! It's raised up that look at that very, very nice, no issues at all camera coverage. They did a great job there. Let's go check out the kickstand while we got it pop it like this, not a's kind of a cheap kickstand, but it does its purpose, look see there.

You go boom boom boom, perfect, and it's definitely it's wobbly enough, but then again it tucks right away, snaps right into place again, no wobble! Look at that! No wobble! Perfect! That's what I'm talking about very nicely done. It's definitely going to add some bulk. This is a big boy case, so it's definitely going to add some bulk to your phone. Let's go and check out the lip, because everybody likes that fat. Elizabeth, lip protection looks good, guys, that's a fat lip! You got edge schedule protection.

You can see it kind of curves in a little and here's the question. The million-dollar question. Is it compatible with the official case official screen protector from OnePlus? And yes, it is I'm pushing it in usually, if I'm pushing it in like this you'll kind of see it come up from the edges. If it was going to buckle and this one, it appears to be compatible with the official one plus tempered glass screen protector. So this is the first.

We actually have the big boy case from sign: that's compatible with the screen protector, so you got full edge protection. That is nice. That's nice! You drop this thing, and you're still good to go. I like what they did here. They finally did it right from sign where they made it compatible with the official tempered glass screen protector volume up and down they're, okay they're they could, they're just not the best.

I mean it's got a's there's a little air pocket to them, so you kind of like the feel of it, but I almost wish there was a little more of that air pocket, so it squished down a little to make it a little clicker responsive. It's a small gripe, though I got no issues at all with those and then speaker looks good right. There. Power looks good mike tough armor right there. Power button same thing same issue, not issues.

It's just the same issue. You know what I'm talking about all right and then the cutter right there. Look how precise that cutout is how deep it is. So that's easy access to the alert, slider, no issues at all with there and then extra reinforcement look at these little reinforcement right there for the bumper beautiful. That's a nice looking case, big boy case, big boy phone.

This is probably gonna, be one of the better protection you're going to get for your OnePlus 8t uh, especially for under 20 bucks. I, like this case a lot, I'm glad that they brought it out for the OnePlus 8t model. So anybody that's rocking this particular phone that wants some nice protection, and it appears to be right now compatible with the official tempered glass screen protector.
