Sony Xperia 5 II - Water Test (EXTREME) By MyUnboxingsAndFun

Hello everybody. This is me my unboxing and funny today, and today I'll have an unboxing and water test of the Xperia 5 mark ii.5G. Before I do the water test, I just want to do a quick unboxing so enjoy it not really satisfying anymore, as um unboxing used to be, but anyway um there. We go the Sony, Xperia 5 mark ii, and I'll just peel this off wow, okay, and you can see the phone in your hand right now, pretty awesome, hello guys. Welcome back. I hope you enjoyed that unboxing video, very, very quick, unboxing video first time on this channel, I think, so now I will be uh doing the water test, the much away through water test, extreme water test on the Xperia 5 mark ii 5g.

Now it's quite a mouthful. Actually it starts saying its name, but pretty awesome phone. I had to play around with it um, and now I think it's time for the water test. Um Sony claims that it has an IP 68 rating on the phone itself um. You know they claim that, and they claim that you can put it.

I think under 2.5 meters for like 30 minutes or something, so now we'll be doing an extreme water test to see. If that's actually true, so, as you know, usually what we do is we put it under low pressure, so I'm putting it on the low pressure water, as you can tell low pressure. Okay, now we increase the pressure, I'm literally going to put it in the charging hole this port. Here, I'm going to put it inside there and see what happens there? You go right inside you go. You can see that it's going literally inside here nothing happening so give the phone a little shake.

Is it still usable? Yes, it is and a lot of people say you can take pictures underwater with this thing. You know you can do everything. Basically, I know quite a few people. I think Sony even said you can take pictures underwater with this phone. Quite weird, but you know it's worth a shot, especially if it's this waterproof.

Now I'm going to increase the pressure to maximum, and now I will just throw in the water and see what happens, which is pretty awesome. You can see it has some sort of special water resistant coating on its actual screen itself. As soon as I put it in water and take it back out, you know I don't even have to clean the screen. I just have to shake it and all the water drifts off the screen. So you know you can use the phone as normal.

You know you can everything's touch responsive, which is pretty awesome. So what I'm going to do now. I'm gonna film, I'm gonna, see if this works, I'm just gonna film on top and then see what type of recording you get so open that up again, I know a lot of YouTubers just put it in a bucket of water and take it out. But me I am extreme, you know I do it. The most extreme way possible and Sony also tells you that it has uh dust resistance as well, so you can literally oh it stopped.

It stopped, so didn't record um. So I think I'm assuming like the pressures of what stopped it accidentally, which is okay but whatever so yeah. I think it survived the water test. Um I'll. Just do one more extreme uh thing I'll, let you just check it.

Oh crap, and you can see that the screen is actually tough as well, because I just hit it across, and it's not broken. So you know it's very, very, very durable as well, but I'm going to do one more extreme test where I literally dunk it in the water shake it around for a few seconds like 30 seconds to a minute and let's see what happens to the phone, does it actually power off three two one and let's just give it a quick shake around and all you can see already when you're putting um the phone in water there are no bubbles coming up, which shows that the phone is actually water, sealed very tightly, which is pretty cool, um, and again it's very, very responsive. And if I want to take a selfie, you know you can take a selfie just how do I turn the camera around here um? So this is me, and then you can just do it underwater yeah. I think Sony claims that you can take pictures underwater, but did they claim. I think I saw that somewhere that Sony said you can or is it someone else, but basically I can't zoom.

Furthermore, I want to take a picture. How do I do this? Oh, oh, yes with this, so you can, you use this button here to the sort of photography button, and you take pictures like that so right here this one here so, so then you go here, and then you see it's very blurry. Oh, there is no great quality, but you know instead of you buying those disposable cameras for you know holiday. You can just get this camera here, pretty, pretty awesome itself so guys when I buy this phone, I probably would, I had to play around with it. The camera is amazing um.

You know, I wouldn't say it's my favorite camera, but it does a good job. Um the waterproof on this phone guys is amazing. Would I use this in the swimming pool or like at the beach? I most probably would have given that it has an ip68 rating, but it also has dust resistance rating as well. That means that you can bring it to the beach without being getting worried about any dust particles or sound particles getting inside the phone, because I can guarantee you it's sealed tightly. Yes, if you have this phone, and you got it repaired recently like a screen replacement or a battery replacement or anything done where the phone had to be opened, then I'll be a bit curious about whether you should bring it to the um.

You know to a swimming pool or to the beach whatever, but if this is still brand new, you know, I think it would be pretty much 100 okay as soon as he claims, um and again taking pictures underwater or whatever you want to do with.
