About hi everybody and welcome back to the channel in today's video I'm going to share with you guys the first 10 things you need to do when you get your brand-new experience. This device has a lot of options, a lot of upgrades from last year's Experian and, of course there are certain things that we need to be aware of when we're getting into a device such as this. This is DK. This is the brand new Experian mark 2, let's check it, I can subscribe and make sure you hit that Bell icon so that you're always notified to whenever we have new videos on the channel. So I do want to mention that the things that I'm going to share with you guys today do not cover obviously taking the device out of the box, setting up your accounts and getting all the stuff set up at that point and of course you can download and install your own personal preference of applications. My list of things that you want to do is obviously once you have all of that done, and you want to be able to get the best experience on the smartphone, and we're going to start off with first with the display.
So we're going to jump over a real quick into the settings. Tab from the settings, we're going to jump down to display section and there's a couple of sections here that we're going to need to talk about first and foremost, is the image quality setting. This is going to be pretty much how you tune or fine-tune the experience that it comes out of this device for, depending on what you're trying to do out of a box by default motion, blur is turned off as well as veneer and video enhancement is turned off, and we'll get a chance to explain those. But you do want to turn those both on the motion. Blur function enables you to actually use the device with an almost 90 Hertz refresh rate experience, and they would know that this is a 4k all that cinema white display you're able to enjoy that content and, of course, get that higher, more I would say, smoother footage again, providing us a somewhat of a closer experience to 90 Hertz, but not truly 90 Hertz, so turn that on and of course, video enhancement gives us the ability of actually optimizing the display to give us a better color.
So you can see here the difference between the tomatoes on both sides, and the greenery that we have here on the right and, of course, that looks a lot better when we're looking at moving a subject, as well as the fact that you can see the details that are present there very nice, very simple to set up and, of course, you're able to turn on directly in the image quality setting. The last thing you do want to make sure to turn on is the ability of actually understanding the difference between creator mode and standard mode. The two differences are very much subtle but again intended to give us a specific experience. Creator mode is intended for watching content. It's not intended to use the UI in the normal way.
So if you're going to be browsing, the know, Twitter, Instagram and so on. Creator mode is not going to be the mode. Do you want to turn it on there? You want to turn it on whenever you're enjoying video content it because it gives you the ability of actually getting a much better. Basically, the BT, 2020, color gamut, up to 10-bit, color HDR, of course, as well as 4k content at its best. Also in the way it was intended by the Creator, so I would say more of a closer experience to watching content at a movie.
Now you have the way of setting it up to be. Auto turned on so specifically for Netflix and, of course, when you're watching 4k content, you can turn it on, of course, to you enjoy content when you're on YouTube, basically Amazon Prime, or even with directly with that you know, Netflix application. The auto mode of currently, unfortunately supports Netflix, but you are able to turn it on and use it from there. So that's first thing on the list definitely understand what you are able to do and tune it to the way you want it under the image quality. Setting the second section- or the second thing we need to make sure to understand- is that the white balancing option here is different from any other smartphone on the market, but also has been improved from what we've had last year in 2021 2019.
So, first and foremost, we now have set presets here for the white balancing options, so V 1555-d, 60 165, as well as all the way to the 93, of course, with different customization options that you're able to jump into by default. This is not turned on. You do need to turn it on and then go in there and customize it to your preference, which will help you get a much more true to true tone, white balance and color options for this device and of course, the last thing you want to make sure and make sure you guys are aware of dark mode is present under the display. You are able to turn it on keeping in mind that the dark mode within the UI, the settings tab, is more of a darker gray, but the notification panel definitely turns on, and if there is an application that supports dark mode, it will allow it to basically override it, since this is built into Android, ten point O, which comes out of the box. The next thing, obviously we want to understand, is the audio settings and some of the improvements that we have in the audio.
We have front-facing speakers as well as a dedicated back supporting three-and-a-half millimeter headphone jack. So those are things that you want to be aware of, and you want to be able to make sure to get the best experience under the audio settings. There's a few things we have to keep make sure to configure it now. Dolby Atmos gives us the ability of customizing our experience, as well as using different presets and different options. So all of these things are generally turned on once you turn on dopey, but if you find a false set up to be dynamic, which is more of their auto mode, go in there and customize it to the experience that you want to set up the EQ to the level that you want and make sure you have it on, and you'll be able to enjoy your content a lot more.
The SSC ultimate is something also that you want to be able to play with and see how this plays for you. It is intending to provide us a would say the best way to describe it. An upscale version of compressed online media audio that we listen to through any kind of application streamed or video is always going to be compressed, and some information is lost, so we're not getting the best experience. Turning this on will also give you the ability of enjoying that content. That is somewhat of an upscaled version kind of like how we saw with the basic motion blur function.
This is pretty much done for audio and, of course, last but not least, is intelligent. Wind filters on this will help with audio recording whenever you're in your video camera. So absolutely fantastic options again go into the sound setting under audio settings and configure that and of course, all your standard audio modes are also present here now. The last thing I do want to mention to you guys is the dynamic vibration function that we have here. This is the best way to describe it is it as if you have a dual shop controller built into your smartphone, and the really beautiful part about this is that when you're using this, if you turn it on, and you're listening the content for movies or so on, not only are you able to hear the audio over your well and also, you obviously enjoy the content.
The way it's intended to be played with the display and the actual speakers that are front-facing now, but you're also able to feel it, and you're also able to set up the actual, basically I would say the resistance of it, so you'll notice by default right here. We all we have is basically a volume rocker, but let's go ahead and jump into a quick song and by default here. So obviously you hear some audio here. I'm going to reduce this, but you're able to set the vibration motor on this from between basically one two and three levels, and this will allow the actual phone uses the vibration motor on it that allow us to feel the sound which it gives me experience an even greater depth of enjoyment. So in this video that I'm watching right now, this is a 4k video.
That's based on YouTube you'll notice, right there. It says 480p, but I'm able to jump all the way onto 2160p, so 4k content with great audio and, of course, the ability of feeling the vibration. So if you're watching a let's say a race or anything where there's basically a somewhat of a basically a loud noise or something to experience it like a crash or even a fight, you're going to be enjoying it a lot more and make sure you turn that function on so that you're able to enjoy. It is not present in every single content, you'll notice, with the general UI, it's not there, but whenever you're listening the content, this is gonna, be really, really functional. For you now, you've probably noticed up at this point that I was using gestures on the device out of the box.
The phone comes out with the standard, no Android navigation, so back home. In the reason you're able to jump into directly under the system, tab and under gestures to turn on system navigation, three-button out of gear, well, basically, gesture which is essentially Android 10-point, no gesture support so swipe up and hold things. The reason it swipes. The left takes us into basically the last application and, of course, I can actually switch between different apps. Depending on to my preferences in here by just swiping from the bottom tab, the other thing that you're also able to do here is the ability of turning on sight sense.
So sight sense is a nice little functional tool, let's go and turn it on here. This menu allows us to actually be able to launch certain shortcuts to applications the ability of jumping into one handed mode, multi window mode, as well as opening at the notification panel. Although you're able to actually do that by just doing a standard, swipe, double tapping on the edge here or on the left will provide you that option, and again you can customize the entire UI experience to be actually just very functional in one handed mode, as it actually works. Much nicer like this when you're able to double tap open and close, and it works great- it takes a little of practice, but I feel like. It definitely helps us enjoy the content a little more.
Last but not least, the ability of initiating the assistant by pressing hold a double pressing, the power button, or you're able to open up the camera application and, of course, double tap to wake up to this play very nice and, of course, the configuration of when to show the always-on display, as this device supports it. Next, if you are a gamer you're, definitely going to enjoy some of these nice options that we have present here, first and foremost, make sure to download all the games that you prefer. As you can see, I have a nice library of games running here. For me, I'm personal, being a pub G is one of my favorite games on this device. You'll notice, the game enhancer is sitting right.
There's a few new options. You need to be aware of a ability of overclocking certain things, so overclock balance or battery saver, but also the ability of saving the battery life on your device whenever you're playing games. So if you're going to be playing games on this device, and you're going to be playing and wall plug, then make sure you turn this. Setting on this allows you to actually run the device off by external power, not charging your smartphone battery and, of course, he'll help a reduced the heat that your device is going to be generating, but also extends the life of the battery. Because of that so, first and foremost, something to be able to consider set.
Your preference here obviously focus settings to be able to disable all notifications or anything like that. That will distract you last but not least, the ability of recording video up to 1080p and also including the front-facing camera very, very nice. A lot of cool little features that are present there and flagons eight-counts will say. Okay and of course, you can always jump into it again here and change the way the actual menu is present. So you'll notice right there, it's actually a swipe down I'm able to access it, or you can keep it as a floating button.
A lot of cool things set up directly in here, and you can customize all of these settings directly within the game enhancer, and if your game is not present here, all you have to do is hit the plus sign, find your application, select it and hit add, and you're pretty much set. The Experian 1 mark 2 comes with 3 camera application. Yes, you heard me correctly.3 most devices come with one. This device has 3. We have the standard camera application that you're normally able to take pictures front-facing back facing all the different sensors that videos up to 4k 30 frames per second 1080p on the front-facing camera.
But if you're going to be using this device for us full potential, I recommend you spending some time using the cinema, Pro application and going outside getting a tripod or even just getting used to the settings options and the way it works. The reason why is that this application runs a little different, it's more of a project basis, more of a create or tuned experience by default, that there is a project that gets loaded, you're able to open up new projects, set the project, basically frame line, basically 16 by 9, which is what I'm personally going with grid lines of course says stabilizer on. If you want to be able to use it, this is also were able to create new project, as you can see, I have multiple ones going on and, of course, you can basically jump between one or any other. The thing that you want to keep in mind is once you start in a project you're not able to change the resolution and the actual, basically, if you're, coming between 4k or 2k 60 frames or even 30 frames per second, so you'll notice right there, when I'm at 60 frames per second I'm, not able to change my lens, even though I have two different setups, so spend some time using the cinema, Pro application and enjoy using it and also understand some of the main features that you have in here. Once you do that, I think you'll be able to enjoy your device a lot more than just standard opening up and not realizing why the images too dark or not working, if you are a pro user, I'm, pretty sure you're already using this application, and you probably can skip to the next level now the same way, we talked about the fact that cinema pro will give you the ability to enjoying the video creation content based, auto 5 out of this device that the best experience I feel like.
We also need to talk about the next one, which essentially is spent some time using the photo pro cam application. Now, Florida probe does come with a couple of things that will make it easier to use. There is a way, basically to customize it directly within the UI. If I press and hold the power button, it will jump straight into the camera pro or the standard camera application out of the box. This is how its configured it automatically launches the standard camera in the settings.
Tab you'll jump all the way down to the bottom, where it says: launch camera key, and I'm, able to basically customize launch photography, 4, which is what we were looking at. Turning on the standard camera and take a picture or just turning on the standard camera or turning it off personally, I feel like you need to configure it to run correctly, but I do want to mention to you guys, one thing: if you jump into that, let's say they will open it up, photo pro mode and I jump in here, and I'm. Looking at an image and I jump back into this camera button, it's going to take me to the stammerer a standard camera app, not the photo Pro so always recommend, closing and jumping back into it. The perfect the reason behind using this and practicing with it is because of the way this lens is over. The configuration is done.
This is very similar to a Sony, alpha camera and also very much similar to holding three different lenses at sixteen and twenty-four and a 70 millimeter lens with a zoom functionality. So you'll notice right there on the 24 I'm able to actually go from 24 to 70 without switching to the 70 millimeter lens you'll notice. This is the focal length and the 16 does the exact same thing. It goes between 16 and 24 and the beauty of the 70. The 7 goes from 70 to 200, so all the options that you've always wanted out of it out of the device, as well as the ability of going between auto pro mode priority, shutter mode or even manual mode, to get your experience set correctly and last but not least, the menu setting here obviously are very much reminiscent of the way we get Sony alpha or even the rx-7 100 experience press and hold the button halfway to be able to do a focus, as you would expect, you can see that basically, the f-stop, the ISO and, of course, the shutter speed everything you need from a camera and a pro level experience.
But again you do need to use the camera Pro application to get all of that benefit so spend some time go outdoors and take some pictures. Now we talked about tuning the display enjoying content there and, as I mentioned to you guys, even though we only don't have a way of turning on to create a remote for all the applications automatically right now, you're able to enjoy content on Netflix, prime video, as well as YouTube in 4k, in their native get experience as I showed you guys at the beginning, we were looking at the vibration function, but here I can jump in here and set display to be exactly the way I want it. I'll go ahead and go side, and of course, you need to go to auto-rotate and just zoom in and enjoy 4k content in all its glory, front-facing speakers and all with basically the dual shot: vibration and absolutely fantastic. This is just gorgeous 4k content and I can't say enough about how amazing this display is and the fact that we have a 4k battery at four thousand William battery. Now, on top of the fact that it's a 4k display helps us a lot now.
The last feature I want to talk to you guys about is obviously something called a 360 audio and 360 audio is something unique to the way Sony has been doing audio on their headphones, but the beauty of it is that you can actually use it with almost any headphone, but if you decide to actually pre-order the Sony Xperia one mark 2 you're able to pick up a pair of these headphones. These are the true Wireless Sony headphones with audio active noise cancellation. That work amazingly well with 360 supporting content example be new. For me here is I'm using basically title: does support 360, so we'll go ahead and open it up. So this is Dipso's latest album.
Let's go ahead, a coil I'll, give it a second to finish I'll give my head. I want to make sure that my Pitt my headphones to connect over to Bluetooth, so we'll give it a second should be able to connect, and now I'm able to actually jump in between master HIFI, obviously, all the different options that were able to do and let's go ahead and jump over here under this section- we're able to jump into 360 reality audio, and it's really amazingly they're done very nicely. So let's go ahead and open it up, we'll give it a second you'll notice, there's a little icon on it, saying 360 and at this point you're able to enjoy content as if the music is playing in 360 or environment around you using the headphones and in this situation just kind of heads-up. It is actually supported by the device that supports this content. So for me, if I'm able to jump back in here, I can see that, if I'm using a headset that it's not optimized, this will not work.
I can jump in here. Of course, we can see here at play different options, and this isn't the only service, but I find that title, because the fact that it supports great audio also really nicely supporting basically the 360 functionality. I would definitely recommend you checking it out. So if you pick up this device is fallen. Applications start your three months free trial of title built in directly into the Xperia 1 mark 2 and tell me, let me know in the comments below what do you guys think of the 360 Audio built in experience from Sony, so the things that I'm sharing with you guys today will give you the best experience out the box, which means it's set up.
Your account, get everything set up in there install your applications and for the most part, if you go through the options that I'm sharing with you guys today, you should be able to get the full potential. What the Xperia 1 mark 2 is able to provide you now with practice. Cinema pro and photo Pro will be basically something that you use on the daily unless you need to use front-facing camera for basically a quick video or a quick person. You know selfie picture I feel like even with that. I would recommend you using the camera pro and use a three-second timer delay the pictures.
There would be superfast, auto, focusing options that we have here with the larger 12 megapixel sensors that we have here, you're always going to get a better picture with that than you are going to get with the front-facing 8 megapixel camera I feel like Sony, for the most part gave us a front-facing camera because all smartphones have it and the best experience is said to be with the triple 12 megapixel cameras in the back. Would the time-of-flight sensor that we have built in there? Let me know what you guys think of the brand-new experience. For me. It's an absolute beast. I am really, really sad that, obviously this is a review unit.
So at some point, I need to return this, and my time with it is very limited, but I will be putting in my pre-order for this. Of course, if you guys want to do this in the minute and the month of June I think only June you'll be able to pick up a free pair of headphones directly from Sony up to 230 dollars at 230 bucks, I think available for free with your pre-order of the Xperia one market -. This is TK. Thank you very much for the support like and subscribe as usual and, of course, share it with all your friends, see you guys in the next video.
