Should You Buy iPhone XS or iPhone 11 Pro?

So, what is up guys Nick here, helping you to master your technology, iPhone 10s, vs. iPhone 11 prone now, something to keep in mind about the iPhone 10s. Is that this phone right now you can get refurbished here at Apple for a twenty-nine for 256 gigs, or you can even get 64 gigs for $6.99. So, yes, it's kind of back here, it's not back in the form of a brand-new device, but it's back here in a form of a refurbished device. You can also buy these third-party. A lot of people don't like to do that, but you could find it maybe even better deal on the 10s.

Now the 11pro is still Apple's latest phone, so of course, you're going to pay full price for this one, starting at $9.99 for a 64 gig. So from a storage standpoint right from the start, the 10s is going to be the way to go. Okay so which one should you buy in terms of the body? Well, they're, both pretty similar, you can see, they look basically identical from the sides, the tops and the bottoms of the devices it's where they get different. As around back. You can see right here, glass, material kind of square camera bump here, and then we do have a glass material here, but this one's textured for 11pro.

This is more just a flat glass and a vertical camera stack right there. Now they both do have their classic silent switches. You can see on both of them and both of them do have the same.5.8 inch display on the front, although one is brighter than the other, and that would be in the form of the 11pro. But overall I would say that the 11pro feels a little different, but I think a lot of people are not really going to use these in terms of using them without a case. So when that goes on, you don't really know as much of a difference.

There is a slight difference in terms of weight, though, whereas the 11pro is a little heavier than the 10s. So if you like, a lighter phone, the tennis will be for you. If you like, a slightly heavier more dense phone, the 11pro will be for you. So what about durability? Well again, because they both have surgical grade stainless steel they're, both going to be very strong on the sides tops in corners of the device. However, the back is a little more exposed.

I feel like for the iPhone tenacious, because straight glass, this textured glass feels a little easier to hold on to and I just like the way it feels better. It feels a little more protected than that flat glass for the iPhone 10s. Now one thing I did notice right away is the 11pro. Scratch is easier on the front display, and so what that means is that, if you're looking for one of these phones go with the 10s, if you're not going to use a screen protector, if you're going to get, the 11pro I would recommend getting a screen protector. In conclusion, they basically both feel about as durable as both, and they're.

Both going to be ip68 dust and water resistance, but the 11pro might be able to last just a little longer if it is submerged in water, but I, don't know why you would do that. So, let's talk about displays. They're, both 5.8 inch super retinas, this one's a super retina XD, are on the iPhone 11 Pro. All that really means is that it's brighter, and it's maybe slightly more accurate. They both support the true tone functionality, but the iPhone 10 S has 3d touch, whereas this has hacked in press which is similar to what was introduced on the iPhone.10 are essentially the iPhone 10 s is a little faster when long pressing into stuff, but the future resides over there on the 11pro. But still, if you liked the 3d touch on your prior iPhone, you might want to consider the 10s other than that I.

Do like the more brightness gain that you get on the know: iPhone 11 Pro over the 10s. So if you love a bright display, just opt a little more money and get the 11pro, but if brightness is already good enough for you on the tennis which it should be for most people, I would just get the iPhone 10 s. If you really don't need that extra brightness. Now when it comes to playing video on these displays, you can see the preview window is exactly the same on YouTube here. If we go ahead and go into the full screen view, of course you can pinch in and out on, both it's literally the same exact viewing experience on both devices.

Now, if we go ahead and pinch in on the 11pro, you wouldn't even be able to tell which phone is which, but one thing again is that, yes, you get more brightness here for the 11pro over B 10s, so your videos will look slightly brighter, but on the whole, it's the same exact video watching experience on media, there's no real game and getting and 11pro over a-10s. So next up is software. Both of them do run the iOS 13 point three point one, and it's a fantastic piece of software. It works well, we know it's going to be updated even further here and, of course, both of them do feature dark mode onboard. The software is nearly identical.

There's really no major differences between both of these. Besides, like I've, said multiple times just the cameras but other than that I could pick up either of these, and I would forget, which one I'm holding unless I felt the backside of the 11pro I mean they're that similar it's the same basic phone is even dating back to the iPhone 10, so software there's no real advantage in paying more for the iPhone 11 Pro, the iPhone 10s, with the a12 Bionic and four gigabytes of RAM is gonna, have no issues being updated for several years to come now in terms of storage, we talked about a little earlier, but $6.99 for 64 gigs, that's an incredible amount of storage. Now we talked about a little earlier, but keep this in mind. You can get a 256 gigabyte, iPhone 10s for just 829 in compared to a 64 gig iPhone 11 Pro for $9.99, that's four times the storage for a hundred and seventy dollars less, with only minor differences between these two phones. So if you're, the type person who wants a lot of storage, and you're just not gonna spring for the 256 gig, 11, Pro or 512 gig 11 pearly 10s is an excellent option for you.

But if you really want the better cameras of the 11, Pro, and you're willing to deal with less storage, then you might just want to go for the base model. iPhone 11, pro okay, guys. So when it comes to the performance of both of these phones again, like I said earlier, I couldn't tell the difference. I cannot really tell the difference here again in performance, I mean I could conduct the speed test. But what we're going to see is almost equal results.

Yes, a Geek bench, yes, a synthetic benchmark will outperform the iPhone 10s on the 11pro. But really, how often are you actually going to be doing? That gestures are the same? The 3d touch is actually faster than the haptic press for the iPhone 11 Pro. There's no new added multitasking features here for the 11pro, so the performance on both platforms is gonna, be almost identical. So why pay more if you're, just looking for a boost over, say your iPhone 7, your iPhone 8, maybe 6s. Both of these are gonna.

Give you a major boost in performance, okay, so discussing their cameras. This is one of the most important decisions between both of these. Actually it's probably the key decision between both of these. So I got this DJ action camera right there, Gospel action, I'm gonna, go ahead and just take a photo with both devices. Now the iPhone 10 s does have smart HDR, so it does have some AI magic to make the photos.

Look even better, and I never had any issues with this camera. As a matter of fact, you can still use this camera and make professional quality photos and videos to this day. It does have portrait mode, it doesn't have the ultra wide-angle, that's about it. The front-facing camera also not quite as good as the iPhone 11 Pro, which can do 4k 60 on the front. So though, Apple really did step it up in those just little niche features that, like professionals actually want in their camera.

So that's there's a reason why it's called the 11 Pro I. Think the white angle is pretty standard that should be on all phones going forward, but in terms of the pro features you have the ability to change. Your aspect ratios you have this like nice, zooming feature that tells you the millimeters of the lens I mean this is stuff pros care about, so it really doesn't make sense here, but the same time you have a nice night mode in this camera and also the video functionality is able to be tweaked right here in camera settings. So overall, yes, you get better photo quality. You get better front-facing quality.

They got the slow fees on here. If you want to do that, but on the whole seriously, the tennis is a seriously good camera still. So you have to know yourself enough to know how much are you actually gonna benefit from having a pro camera if I was not making YouTube videos and doing social media, if I would probably not be buying a xi pro at the extra money, because the 10s can do basically what the average person needs even more than what the average person needs so just weigh how important is the camera to you and if it's extremely important, like on a really high importance level, then you're just going to have to get the 11 Pro, or you're going to be unsatisfied with 10 s, and you're not gonna, be unsatisfied because of the 10s cameras being bad they're, not bad you're going to be unsatisfied because you're going to see advertisements, you're going to know that the iPhone 11 Pro exists, and you're going to know you just plumped down 800 bucks, and you would've paid a little more. You could have had a wide angle. You're just going to know this.

If you care a lot about cameras, a lot of people like to simplify these comparisons, just down at oh it's just the battery is better on the 11pro. It's just a camera's just those two things, but when we talk about the battery, it's all relative to your usage for me, I'm more of a Productivity focused person, so I'm out doing things I'm, making videos I'm doing things like that, and so I'm, not on my phone constantly, but I do hammer on it some days and even on days, I hammered on it. The 10s was able to get me through the day now I was finishing with like 21 percent on the phone, whereas the 11pro I can stretch into two days with this phone. But again it's going to be relative to your usage. How important this factor of battery life is if you're going to keep a phone a long time like one of these five years, having the better battery is, of course, going to be better.

The health should hold on longer for the 11pro as well. So let's have a look at the audio performance on both now Apple has claimed to put Dolby Atmos on the 11pro. So let's have a listen here. First, begin with the iPhone tennis, and now we'll have a listen to the iPhone 11 Pro for quite some time and I want to kind of give you an owner, and so I don't know if you noticed it, but there's not a major difference. So this is not a deciding factor.

The audio performance. Neither of these are top-tier. Performers in reception, quality and phone call quality, but they do suffice. They do get the job done, so it's definitely not a deal-breaker between both of them. However, I found that the 11pro has been doing slightly worse for me in terms of the reception holding on, but in terms of the speakerphone performance, the iPhone 11 Pro is better, and so we have arrived at the conclusion so which one should you put your heart or money towards? Should it be the iPhone 10s or the Apple iPhone 11 Pro? Well, if you're on a tighter budget, but you're still looking for a top-tier iPhone, you don't like 10r.

This is gonna, be probably your best bet. The iPhone 10s will. Definitely please you it's a fantastic phone still, even though it came out in 2018 now, if you're the type of person who doesn't have that tight of a budget, but you're still weighing your options here. Thinking about it, you don't know if you're going to need the camera and battery life. Well, just think about your usage.

Have you been struggling with battery life, and you've been looking for an ultra impressive, smaller phone with pretty good battery life? The 11pro is gonna really impress you if you're looking for the most camera prowess performance, you can get in the smallest package available today and current. It gives you the most well-rounded camera package on the smallest Hardware today, at least as of the recording of this video, the apps for editing, photos and videos are unmatched. The actual camera video performance is pretty much unmatched. You can make a serious statement which your work that you can produce out of these cameras right here as a resale proposition. Both of them should hold on pretty well with their values anyway thumbs up.
