So the first story of today is about the major display upgrade for the Galaxy Z fold 3. In terms of flexible displays that the z-fold 3 is going to be the most advanced we've seen, and it's most likely going to be the focus of the launch event ice universe tweeted this morning to say that the z43 is going to have the strongest folding screen technology thanks to utg-2, and this is of course, ultra-thin glass. The z43 is going to have a 60 micrometer layer of ultra-thin glass, and this is twice as thick as the predecessors, and it's going to allow for the use of an s pen.

We saw the s pen in a leaked promo, so this has been known for a while, but it's great news that we're getting a much more durable folding display. Secondly, ice universe stated that it's going to be Samsung's first UPC phone, which is under panel camera. Well, the external display is going to be using a punch, hole camera. The main internal display is going to have a full screen display, and this is thanks to the selfie camera being embedded underneath the display. One thing that has always put me off has been durability and thanks to all these practical improvements, I think the fold three may be my first purchase.

The second part of his tweet may be disappointing for some, as it states that it's going to be using the same camera specs as its predecessor. It's not all bad news, though. As we know, the z43 is going to be cheaper than the launch price of the predecessor, and this is no doubt going to be part of how they achieve this. Using the same camera components is going to help reduce the cost, and it's estimated that the z43 is going to be 300 cheaper than the launch price of the default 2 and at least the consumer now gets an optimized camera for those thinking of getting a fold. Three, it shouldn't be an issue, but I can definitely see it putting people off upgrading it from the fall to the fold three.

Now last week we had the galaxy unpacked invitations leaked, and this showed us that the unpacked event is going to be august, 11th at 1700 Moscow time which is 10 a. m. So when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3, the main inner display is actually going to be smaller than the predecessor coming in at 7.5 inches. It is, of course, only 0.1 inches smaller, and it's going to be a LPO panel with 120 hertz. Refresh rate resolution is currently unconfirmed, but it's likely to remain close to the 2208 by 1768. We saw on the predecessor, and it's going to be the first folding phone to support the s pen.

This is thanks to an increase in screen protection with a 60 micrometer ultra-thin glass. Now the front display is reportedly remaining the same size as the predecessor and comes with a 6.2 inch AMOLED display. So if the inner display is reducing in size- and this display remains the same, then we're hoping for slightly trimmed down bezels when it comes to the cameras, we're getting a punch or selfie camera on the front display and an in-display selfie camera on the main. The exact lenses and sensors are not known at the moment, although we do expect them to be similar to the 10 megapixel wide angles that we saw in the predecessor when it comes to the rear, we're expecting a triple camera setup in the new subtle camera housing. And there are many reports of minor changes, if any so expect.

A 12 megapixel wide a 12 megapixel telephoto and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera when it comes to ram and storage, we're expecting the z-fold 3 to come with 12 gigabytes of ddr5 ram and a choice of 128 256 or 512 internal storage. There were rumors of an AMD and Samsung chipset, but it looks like the fold three is gonna, be using the snapdragon triple eight. It's all going to be powered by a 4275 William hour battery with 25 watt fast charging. While it is slightly smaller than last time with the new chip, efficiencies smaller display and LPO panel, then we should still see an improvement in battery life. It will, of course, ship with one UI 3 based on android 11, and it's going to be available in beige black green or silver color options.

When it comes to the pricing, nothing has been confirmed just, yet we're expecting it to launch around two thousand dollars to 2100. If we see the usual price increase so overall, the Samsung Galaxy default 3 is looking like an incredible phone, and it's great to see more innovation in the smartphone industry with plenty of leaked information coming through. We can be pretty sure that most of the information is correct, but with launch expected in August, then it's not long until we get the official confirmation from Samsung.
