Samsung Galaxy watch 3 Vs Galaxy watch - Which one to buy ??? - A quick Comparison By AppX

All right, we have got the brand-new galaxy watch, 3 launched a couple of days ago, and you must be contemplating whether to buy galaxy watch, 3 or its predecessor galaxy watch, which is available at some attractive discounted price. At the moment in this video I am going to share some information on this and share my thoughts and opinion, and let you decide in my previous video, I did compare the galaxy watch 3 and watch active 2. Now, let's get rolling, we all know that any new generation of electronics usually comes with a spec bump and added features which will of course be offered at a higher price.

First, let's check out the price of both these devices and then, let's see whether the price delta between these two devices is higher or lower than the delta between their specifications. I will mention the pricing in dollars so that all the viewers can understand the pricing better. You can just convert it into your currency and compare all right. We have galaxy watch 3, starting at about 399 for 41 mm and about 429 for 45 mm Bluetooth version and LTE costs slightly more. The galaxy watch costs approximately 279 and 299 for 42 and 46 mm respectively.

The price difference here is approximately 120 130 dollars, which is considerable difference for a lot of people. Now, let's compare the specifications and features and see whether the additional price you are paying is worth those additional features or not. Thereafter, you can take a call on this now for this video I will be comparing galaxy watch, 3 45 mm and galaxy watch 46 mm sizes. First, let's look at the design. The galaxy watch 3 has a classic typical watch design, which is leaner and lighter than its predecessor, whereas galaxy watch has a sporty rugged design.

Of course, the galaxy watch will be a bit chunkier with slightly thicker bezel, but it's fine because it has its own style elements on its dial. Having said that, if you are someone having a small hand and if your wrist circumference is small, then galaxy watch looks big on your wrist. I have a lean breast and I have tried galaxy watch, and it did not look good, so I opted for active too anyways. These are quite subjective, so you guys decide on the design. Now, let's go through the important specifications here connectivity we have got LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi GPS in both the watches here.

Battery is 340 my in galaxy watch, 3 and 472 MH in galaxy watch. That is a considerable difference in the battery which you have to take a note of charging. We have got wireless charging on both memory. We have got 1gb ram with 8gb internal storage on galaxy watch, 345 mm, and we have got 1.5 GB ram with 4gb internal storage. On the LTE version of galaxy watch and 768 MB ram with 4gb internal storage on Bluetooth version of galaxy watch, so this difference in memory between these two watches is not going to make a huge difference in your day-to-day life.

The input type is rotating bezel with two buttons, which is same on both the watches. When it comes to health centric features, we have got a lot of additions here on galaxy watch, 3 like blood pressure, ECG blood oxygen fall detection, and these are not available on galaxy watch.46 mm, unlike galaxy watch, active 2 galaxy watch, is not going to get these updates for blood pressure or ECG in the future because they are not equipped with the hardware. We also have an additional feature here that is, fitness centric feature called running analysis in vivo 2 max, which is not available on galaxy watch in terms of durability. Both have got 5 ATM water resistance with ip68 rating, and they also have the same durability rating here and if you look at the smartwatch features, it's exactly the same on both the watches. Another couple of points to note is galaxy.

Watch.3 also offers fall, detection features like Apple Watch and galaxy watch.3 comes with Bluetooth 5.0, whereas galaxy watch has Bluetooth 4.2, so connectivity is improved a bit on galaxy watch. So after looking at the specifications and features of course, there are few advantages on galaxy watch 3 over its predecessor, but the difference is marginal. The disappointment with galaxy watch 3 is the battery a 370 my battery can last up to 2 days, not more than that. My active 2 has the same battery, which lasts 2 days max so galaxy. Watch with a bigger battery is definitely a good point to consider.

It can go up to about 3 to 4 days on a single charge, but for some of you out there, the health centric features offered on galaxy watch.3 may be really important, and if you are a fitness freak and want to make the most of your watch, then you can look at galaxy watch 3, and you should not mind charging your watch every 2 days. So difference of approximately 120 to 130 dollars can get you additional health, centric features and a leaner and lighter design. So now you set your priorities and take a call on which galaxy smartwatch you want to grab. If I were to pick one, I would have gone with galaxy watch 3, mainly because the galaxy watch is already 2 years old and this new model offers some important health centric features and the size would definitely fit on my wrist.
