Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Book Cover Keyboard Case Unboxing

And here with the digital digest- and today I wanted to share a quick, unboxing and first look at the Samsung Galaxy tab. S7 plus book cover keyboard now this retails for roughly 230 us dollars. So it is expensive, no question about it, but it is probably going to be the best solution if you own this brand-new tablet that just launched today, again September 18 and actually want to use it not just as a tablet, but as something that actually can get some work done as well, because not only is it a stand, not only does it have a keyboard, but of course it has a trackpad, a touchpad as well. So let's go ahead and open this up and for those of you, it says, do not use blades. I'm not surprised for those of you that are unfamiliar with this uh with the tablet again, a 12.4 inch super AMOLED display uh 100, capable of a 120 hertz refresh rate and then, in addition to that, you've got a snapdragon 865 plus under the hood. This is a Wi-Fi, only version.

This is compatible with both the Wi-Fi version, and the 5g enabled version. We've got some instructions, and many of you saw my tab. S6 plus keyboard cover experience last year, and I'm really hoping that there's none of that this year, and it looks like there isn't. I believe they have rectified the problem. If you don't know what I'm talking about, consider yourself lucky, that's all I'm going to say so.

Basically, just going to take the tablet. Here. You see, I've got the pen already attached, it's going to hook up to that Pogo port right there. It should be a magnetic snap, and it is now. This is not going to work on its own.

You do need the back for this, and that was the problem with last year's product. You know a lot of people blamed me for it, but the fact was Samsung just made a piece of crap that if you didn't, even if you did follow the instructions, there was a very good likelihood that it was going to fall off. The good news here is, I don't think we have that problem anymore, because I think they knew they had to fix it and guess what they fixed it. So this is all magnetic the previous year. It was a combination of like a sticky like double-sided tape and um.

It wasn't magnetic, but the pen part was a lot of people gave me a lot of flack for saying it was all a magnet, or it was all a suction mechanism. This is all magnetic, and this is the way it should have been the first time around, because what happened with the previous gen little dirt here from the packaging was that when you would stand it up, it would just literally fall off, so this back portion would just at any given time could just fall, and you would risk destroying your brand-new tablet. The good news here is that it's sitting firmly, and now I can see that with this actually being functional, you can see the mouse moving around there. I think we do have an actual uh solution when it comes to productivity um. This obviously is great for decks, which is not launched right now, but you can obviously launch decks with this and then in doing so, which that was a screenshot, my bad, let's go ahead and get DEX rolling, so I haven't even done this yet, but DEX is going to give you that whole desktop experience and then this is flexible.

So if you want to angle this down, you can let's see how far it goes. So that's that's as far as you're going to go so almost completely flush, not that you'd really want to do that. But it's just you know. Everyone in my opinion, is trying to copy what Microsoft did with their surface hinge, which is your know, Microsoft's all about those hinges. Aren't they, but I mean there, you have it? I mean this is in my opinion.

If again you want this tablet to be more than just another tablet. If you really want a productivity machine, you've got decks launched, it will act uh like a PC. The interface is, you know it's still android, but it's all its own unique experience, and I'll probably end up doing a review of this uh besides the tablet, but just the DEX functionality and, of course, this keyboard cover. Now again it is expensive, but if you're looking for an all-in-one solution, that's going to protect it add very little thickness to a tablet, that's already pretty thin and very full-featured. This is probably the way to go.

You're not going to find a third party case that does everything this does, and you know it's got kind of a textured faux leather design to it. It's going to solve the fingerprint problem. You've got your place to stow your pen, so you won't have to worry about losing it, and they finally did really what they should have on the previous generation, which is just made this thing fully magnetic, and then you don't have to worry. If you want to take it off, it's a very strong magnet. Let me put it down, but you can that's the beauty you know.

Unless it did adhere it seems like it did. I might be totally wrong. Maybe this is another adhesive. No, it is just a magnet. That's I thought so, whatever they did in terms of design redesigning this, they finally got it right, because this sucker doesn't slip.

I mean you saw how hard I had to pull and that's because this area, this portion, that magnet is strong. It is not I'm going to do this now hold your breath. All right looks good. I don't recommend doing this by the way. Do not do what I'm doing right now.

That's not nip see, not very smart. As I said it um. You don't want to do that. In fact, my heart rate just went up, but there you have it again the keyboard case in full effect. I like it uh.

I think this time it's actually worth the money it appears, but I'll report back. Let me start using it see if there are any problems, but at first look first glance here touch and feel this thing is what last generation should have been and for those of you unaware, you know, Sami was the first to introduce and incorporate a touchpad into their tablet. Ecosystem aka, a mouse apple, was playing catch up on that so credit Samsung. For this time, not making a piece of junk, it seems any questions or comments. Please feel free to post them, hit that like button and as usual, please feel free to subscribe, and please stay safe later.
