Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite vs. Galaxy Tab A7 - Which Should You Buy?

So in this video I'm going to compare the Galaxy Tab, s6 light with the new Galaxy Tab a7 to see, which is the better tablet for you, and these two tablets are a lot closer than I thought. They'd be. If you want pricing and more information check the description below, but let's go ahead and get started when it comes to which has the better speakers. Both tablets have speakers on each side of the device which is really great, which I think should be standard on all tablets. Normally, I have to cup one side of the tablet. So speakers go towards me, but with these two tablets you don't really have to do that and surprisingly, the cheaper tab.

A7 does sound a tad louder overall than the tab. S6 light, not a huge difference and both tablets sound perfect for budget devices. But if you want the tablet with better speakers, go with the Galaxy Tab a7, you won't be disappointed. But for me, I'm okay with both the 17-inch screen on here, looks bright and tight, as some might say, and sure the graphics look like Minecraft style from the 80s, but the games did come out in the 80s and 90s. So I'm okay with that now, once you're playing the game, you sort of forget about all that and get to the next checkpoint before cops.

Try to run you off the road plus watching how people fly out of the car and magically land on their feet and start running is hilarious. Like I said before, I'm sure the pedals are plastic. Like a baby's toy but big deal, you know, there's going to be aftermarket ones soon. The shifter and pedals are plastic, so I can definitely see molders upgrading those. But for me, I'm okay, with both the 17-inch screen on here, looks bright and tight, as some might say, and sure the graphics look like Minecraft style from the 80s, but the games did come out in the 80s and 90s.

So I'm, okay with that now, once you're playing the game, you sort of forget about all that and get to the next checkpoint before cops. Try to run you off the road plus watching how people fly out of the car and magically land on their feet and start running is hilarious. Both of these tablets have a 10.4 inch display with 1080p resolution both have decent viewing angles with very similar screen brightness and both look perfect and are great for watching videos on YouTube, Disney, plus or Netflix, which is in full HD on both tablets. I don't think either of these displays look quite as crisp as say on an iPad, but for the price. I feel both of these look perfect and most people are going to be happy with either one, so they have the same size screen with same resolution, and they even have the same size, 7 000, William hour battery, but the tab s6 lite only lasted just over six hours in my battery drain test, while the tab a7 lasted an hour and a half longer at seven and a half hours keep in mind, though you can double that time by just putting your screen brightness down to halfway.

But if you want the tablet with a longer battery life, then you'll definitely want to pick up the Galaxy Tab. A7, oh and good thing is: you've got the same fast charging USB on both tablets, although I have to admit, nothing really seems that fast to me anymore. Now that I've used the warp charge 65 by OnePlus man, that's fast now, when it comes to cameras on tablets, if you've seen some of my other tablet comparison, videos, you've probably heard me say, don't use your tablet cameras, especially for Zoom meetings or most things, actually. Well, that's because they're, just not as good as on a cell phone, even budget cell phones nowadays have gotten pretty good with their cameras and are leaps ahead of what most tablets can do. But for the sake of this video I went ahead and compared the cameras, and they're both pretty similar.

Just as you would expect not real great on the rear or front camera, you do get 1080p HD video quality though, and yeah it's just okay, as tablets go. Here's a few examples just to give you an idea of what to expect uh. Now when it comes to performance again, these tablets are going to be very similar. You've got four gigabytes of ram on the s6 lite, three gigabytes of ram on the Galaxy Tab. A7, but surprisingly, the geek bench scores are almost identical in single core scores and multi-core scores.

So when you're navigating the software and doing normal day-to-day tasks, you won't notice a huge difference between these two tablets. You've got HD graphics and high frame rates on games like PUBG mobile on the Galaxy Tab, s6 lite, but unfortunately it's only the lowest graphics settings and medium frame rates on the tab a7. So even though earlier we found out performance and the geek bench scores were about the same during some games, the tab, s6 lite just handles them a little better. Overall, though, both of these tablets are pretty good for gaming, especially if you're playing a game where you can connect an Xbox controller, and they're really nice, if you're playing a game where you can connect an Xbox controller. So if you want the better gaming tablet, I would personally go with the tab.

S6 lite, probably one of the biggest factors when deciding between two different tablets is going to be the price. The Galaxy Tab, s6 lite, is currently on sale for 250 dollars with 64 gigabytes of storage, while the tab a7 is on sale for 150, 32, gigabytes of storage and then 200 for 64, gigabytes of storage, so about 50 difference when comparing the 64 gigabyte models. If you do happen to go with the tab, a would recommend the 64 gigabytes, because 32 gigabytes of storage fills up way too fast. For me now there is no official keyboard case for either of these that I know of, but there's a ton of third-party ones on Amazon to choose from. I don't think, that's a dealbreaker, though, for most people, but if you are wanting either of these for drawing or anything art related, where you're going to need an s pen, or you just like to use an s pen to navigate the software, or you just like to use a stylus in general on your tablets and then obviously you're going to want to go with the Galaxy Tab.

S6 lite, because the s-pen works great on this tablet and while you can get a capacitive stylus for the tab, a7 they're, just not as good as the official s pen from Samsung. I've also done a case video for both tablets. That might give you some ideas, so I'll leave those in the description of the video as well, if you're interested. Hopefully, this video gave you some things to think about when buying either of these two tablets from Samsung. I've got one more comparison coming up with the tab a7 before I get some new tablets later this week, so you'll definitely want to stick around for those.

So if you've made it this far into the video, you may want to say thanks by subscribing and don't forget, to give a thumbs up. If this video was helpful, this is Brian from fish bee productions. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next one.
