Hey guys, so this would be a real, quick speed test between these two on the left. It's the Samsung, Galaxy Note fan edition, aka, note, 7, or I call it the zombie 7. This phone is back from the dead alive and well very nice, and on the right is the while we meet 9 now this was considered by many as a good alternative to the note 7. Since, obviously the note 7 was recalled, some of you folks were looking towards this phone as a possible replacement with its similar specs big screen of five point nine inches. This is definitely a good phone. I'm going to go ahead and turn on both at the same time and see which one has the faster boot up.
Let's go there. We go, should be a fun little video right here between these two phones that could have and should have been competing with one another earlier this year. If then, note seven never got recalled, you can see the fan addition a little faster on boot-up, followed by the mate nine, and we are in I've gone ahead and set the resolution of the note seven to 1080p. Since the meeting Ryan runs at 1080p resolution just to make this test a little, more even click apply and there he goes also, there's nothing. Opening the background on both phones, I'm going to go ahead and clear this out.
As you can see, so I'm going to go ahead and open a bunch of apps right now get the speed test started just your everyday apps, so you can see, give you an idea of the performance of these two smartphones so far very similar, see that's open camera right now, not really seeing any huge difference between the two go ahead and open the calculator right now shout out to the one plus five: let's see we do have the clock here. You can see very similar on both okay, let's open the Play Store right now there you go. Click on this, miss touch on the mate. Let's see, let's open, what can we open? Next, let's open this one eBay take a look at this camera Sony, a 65 hundred, that's open, Amazon right now, where's Amazon now go a little faster on the right, see, I'm, just going to go ahead and click on this first, one: okay, just kind of go ahead and just leave it there. Let's see speed test the faster on the meat.
Let's see this one Acrobat Reader and again, the main nine just split seconds faster, but again not really a big difference. Okay, moving on to some games got Mario run here and about the same on both okay. Next game, Angry Birds too I mean I slightly out ahead, can I note seven catches it, and it does overtake it by a split second, but again, both generally the same performance very similar on both phones go ahead and start up the next game, subway surfers and both very similar meet nine slightly out in front cap to play and stop the game right there. Let's see, we do have San Andreas on both devices and go ahead and give this one a whirl go, and we have the note seven slightly out in front here Twitter and pretty much the same on both phones, and we have Snapchat and both are the same alright. So now let's go ahead and take a look at the multitasking on both phones.
So you can see you have all these apps open right here, and I just cleared this one by accident, so I'm just going to do the same on that one, alright, Twitter, that's alright! You guys get the idea. Okay, let's see Angry Birds, while your run, stolen, RAM, Acrobat, speed, test, Amazon butter, smooth performance on both so far the eBay right on that camera right where we left it off. Let's see we have the Play Store, no reloading yet already going to run the table here, or they're, not gonna, be any reloads at all on both go ahead. The calculator right on two one plus five: let's see what do we have left? We have the camera there. You go, let's see, messaging slight refresher on the meat nine, but not nothing too bad and the phone app again nothing to bag on either phone.
So, as you can see, both phones performed really, really well here, really impressed with both actually considering. These two are basically last year's phones, while the main nine came out early this year in January 2017, and they note seven with last year's specs Snapdragon or excuse me, the Enos 88-90 for both have four gigs around so yeah. That's pretty much! It hit me up in the comments. Let me know what you think about this one. What do you guys think of the no fan Edition? Do you guys get this phone? Do you guys prefer this one over the Galaxy S8? Would you prefer this phone over the upcoming Note 8, which is going to be announced later on this week and just kind of come out next month? Hit me up in the comments and let me know, and also what do you guys think of the mate 9? Do you any one of you out there pick by me nine since then, o7 got recalled earlier? This year, let me know in the comments below thanks for watching peace out, I've got head and set the resolution of the note.
Seven I'll show you real, quick.
