Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 blogger review

Hey Teddy K here for the best spy blog and in this video review we take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab s6. This is the latest premium tablet from Samsung that the company believes with the right tools would be a great productivity device. Samsung is back with another tablet and the Galaxy Tab s.6 is not a successor, the Tab s 5 II, which came out earlier this year, but actually that the tab s4 from last year, and the reason for that is because this is supposed to be a Productivity device as much as a consumption device and the s-pen support is the biggest reason why, along with the keyboard, which comes sold separately, when you put them together, Samsung thinks that it has something to offer you to get the job done. Well. Can you get the job done with this? For the most part? Maybe, but it thinks it depends on what it is you're looking to do. If you need a pen, or you like the idea of using a stylus, and you like the ideal, so the stylus comes with the tablet.

Ok, yeah, maybe I mean the s-pen. Does have some really neat features and some of the stuff that we've seen that was introduced in the Galaxy Note 10 in this device. So you know if you'll remember, there was the where you use the gestures to control things like the camera, or you know you can like to skip a track when listening to music things like that or even with YouTube. Those are mostly in this as well. Are they really useful from a Productivity standpoint, not particularly, in my opinion, no I? Think more, so the pen is useful when it comes to actually using the pen for something whether it's writing or drawing or doodling, or you know, joining down a note, something like that or accessing certain apps that you can with the pen as well.

Yes, there is some merit to that, but really I think it really just depends on whether you can go beyond that to use this as a Productivity device and what I mean by that is that beyond the pen there's the keyboard now the keyboard does not come with the device, so you do have to spend extra to get it, and it's not a keyboard where well, it's not full-size. First, so there's that side of if it's gonna, be a little tougher to type on I mean when you're, when you're coming from a Chromebook or a laptop or a Mac. You know whatever it is a regular laptop or even a larger tablet that has a full-size keyboard. It is a little tough to get used to this one, especially for doing a lot of word processing, and that was how I felt with this one I never felt truly comfortable typing on it. It's not a bad keyboard.

Furthermore, it's just that! Furthermore, it's not a great one either. So what I ended up finding in using this is that it really was a great consumption device. More than anything else watching video- and this was it- was really nice. I mean I, really really really liked it and I love the battery life I mean the battery life. I was getting over 10 hours easily, if not over 12.

In some cases, so I didn't have an issue with that either I mean I, could watch I could watch a full season of a show and probably get away with it on this thing. So there's a lot of advantages, interestingly enough, when it comes to just enjoying something that you want to watch or something what you want to do. Most apps run really, really well on it. Similarly, because the internals are so good, there are dual cameras in the back, although I'm, not one to take photos on the tablet, so I never really took advantage of that. I never really bothered to do anything with that, but it is there in case you do want that.

The front-facing camera is pretty good too. In case you want to do video calls or something to that effect. So there are a number of tools and pieces that work, but the main sort of focus and Sam that Samson was trying to put across here to make this a different type of Samsung tablet. I, don't think fully got there, but the key to me, I think, is still the pen and if you want a stylus, and you want to use a stylus for any reason on a tablet like you really get something out of it, this would be the way to go. The tab.

S5E doesn't have that kind of support. So there's a huge differentiator between the two and the battery life is a huge differentiator between the tab, s4 and this device. So there are a few things that stand out about this now. One thing I do like it Samsung did. Was they actually put a magnetic slot for this? In the back of the tablet? This was always an issue in previous devices you never do or to put the pen.

There was only a chance. You could lose it, it could fall off. That could still happen. Mind you the magnets, not that strong, but it's good enough to keep it at least in place for the most part and the keyboard cover here. That I have also has like an indent for it, so that it just kind of snuggles in there.

So to sum it up, I think this is a tablet that you'll know pretty much right away. If it's going to do what it is, you want it to do. I, don't think, there's a lot of guessing here to be very honest, especially if you've had experience with Samsung tablets before you know what you're going to get with them, especially the high-end ones like this one. But this is playing in the ballpark of like a pixel book Gogh or even an iPad Pro some surface devices from Microsoft, so it sits in that sandbox and that's a tough place to play, so I. Think again.

I would only recommend this if you really want the s-pen support and if you feel like you're going to get something productive out of this. If you just want to watch video, you don't care about the pen, but you like Samsung, get the tab s5e if you're looking for something else, you're not really beholding to any particular brand. Then look elsewhere. If you feel like the Pens not enough, and that's my review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab s 6 for the Best Buy blog I'm, Teddy K, thanks for watching.
