iPHONE SE 2020 update 4 months later (battery health issues) | trinakaye

Hey guys welcome or welcome back to my channel, so in this video I will be doing another iPhone. Se 2 update for you guys, because I receive a lot of messages and comments and asking me to do an update video about the iPhone SE. I guess people are still kind of interested to know whether the iPhone SE is for them or no anyway. So in today's video I thought I'd share with you guys my fourth month update regarding the iPhone SE 2. So I've had this phone for four months and I guess this is going to be like a monthly thing now, because people are still wanting me to do the iPhone SE update every month. So I think I'm just going to deliver guys.

If you ask me to do the video, I'm going to do it for you, so this isn't going to be a very, very long, video. This is going to be a short video because I just wanted to update you guys about the phone. Basically, so I know you guys are interested to know if the battery life is still good. How is the battery healthy? So let me just share with you guys the screenshot of my current battery health after four months, so here it is um. As you can see, my battery health is down to 95, which sucks to be honest, um well at first.

I was really surprised to see that my battery health is down to 95, although before with my iPhone 6s, I didn't really care much about it, unlike now um. So I'm not sure if this is like a normal thing for iPhone, I'm not a techie person. But, to be honest, I was kind of shook when I saw that my battery life is at 95, because I've only been using this phone for about um four months. So that means my battery health is decreasing at one percent each month. So I guess that's like very interesting for you guys to know, but in saying that I can cut.

I notice that iPhone has this thing where it says battery optimized, something like that. It's the optimized battery charging, which means you have to open this guy, just to reduce battery aging. It says here that iPhone learns from your daily charging routine. So it can wait to finish charging past 80 percent until you need to use it. So I know some of you are asking me why their iPhone charges just until like 80 or 95, and then it stopped charging.

But I guess you have to turn this thing off for you to get the 100 battery charge. If you guys know what I mean, I'm not sure if this is included with obviously like in the iPhone 11 or iPhone 12. But this is just what I noticed that I didn't have from my previous phone, which is the iPhone 6s so yeah, that's that so now that you guys know the battery health. Let's get into the like my actual day-to-day usage for about four months now so at first, when I was in quarantine. Obviously I don't really care if my battery runs out superfast, and I have to like to charge it before I go to bed.

I don't mind it because I'm just at home chilling, but now that I am back to work, I'm working two jobs. So I work full time, and then I work during the weekends as my part-time job, so I needed my phone because I take the bus every day, so I need to check my bus route and all that, so I need to open my data and, as we all know, using your data can like to drain up your battery superfast. So what I noticed, though, is that every time I charge my phone at night, and then I go to work, I get like around like 30 percent of battery life. At the end of the day, sometimes it gets to 20 to 23, when I like to forget to turn off my data and store it in my locker room, so that happens. Although, since I got this phone, I don't have to bring with me my power bank just so when I need to like charge my phone, I can just charge it whenever.

So I find that I don't have to bring with me my power bank. So ever since I got this phone, so I don't have to bring that with me, which is fine, but then, at the end of the day I can see that my phone is like a 20 or 30 um. So that means I can't really like use it as much. I just need to like to go home straight before my battery is dead. If that makes sense so yeah, that's that's just what I noticed.

If you guys are going to ask me, do I think it's worth it? I mean for the price. Yes, I can deal with it like I. As what I've said in my previous videos. I don't mind charging my phone, but then, at the same time I do wish that I don't have to think about it. What I'm trying to say is that you can't really put a price on having a peace of mind.

You know that you can still rely on your phone. If you have like an emergency that you have to go to this place, and you don't have to think about. Oh, my god, my battery is gonna, be dead anytime soon. I need to go home and things like that. So for me, it's like really, really important that I have a peace of mind.

I mean I can just bring with me my power bank, but then at the same time it's like bulky so yeah, if you guys are going to ask me, do I think the iPhone SE is still worth it. I mean it's worth it if you're like a student or something like that, if you don't like to rely on your phone very much like you, can really just be fine using the iPhone SE 2. That's my solid honest answer. You'll be fine. I could also be fine, but then, at the same time my life gets busier every day and do I still see myself using iPhone se2 for a long time, five years from now like what I did with my iPhone 6s, honestly, I don't and to be honest with you, I am planning to um upgrade my phone probably next year or end of this year or probably next month.

Who knows but by right now, I'm like I'm, I'm fine right now, but I'm just telling you guys about it that if you want to have like a peace of mind that you have like a full battery on or like a reliable battery life, then I would definitely suggest skipping the iPhone SE 2 just get the iPhone 11, probably, and if I honestly just know that this battery life isn't that good, I would probably go for the iPhone 11, but then, at the same time the price you can't really match the price of the iPhone SE 2. It's like super cheap, um. So yeah, I guess that's just my two cents guys I feel like the phone is okay. I mean I can still use this phone. It's not it's not like a big deal or anything like that.

Like what I've said um I still have 30 to 20 of my battery life after work. I work like eight hours 8.5 hours a day. So that means that if I have like my sometimes I don't even charge my phone up to 100. Sometimes I go to work with just like 80 battery life and last Friday. Actually I forgot to charge my phone, so I yeah I went to work with only like 30 of battery and at the end of the day like around, like 4 30 to 5.

My battery life is at 12. It didn't die on me or whatever, so I was able to charge my phone at home and, honestly, I don't mind charging my phone. It's just that it's getting really, really cold here in Canada because we are nearing fall and winter time. So right now the weather is at 20 20 degrees. So it gets like it's like a Baguio weather, so it gets freezing.

I am very, very worried that my phone isn't going to last me while I'm at work or going to work because of the cold weather. As we all know, cold weather can drain out your battery like superfast. So yeah, that's just my main concern, but as always, I'm going to update you guys once we hit winter time here in Canada, so I'm going to make another update video for you guys how this phone would perform during the winter time for like the colder months and stuff like that. So if you guys wanted to show my updates just don't forget to subscribe to my channel like this video hit the notification bell button, so you get notified whenever I post a video, so that video is going to be up very, very soon once it gets a little colder. Um, probably do it like next month, I'm going to do like iPhone SE 2 updates every month, just because you guys wanted to see this kind of videos yeah.

That's just my update guys. You wanted to know how I feel about the iPhone SE four months after this is it. This is what I think, and if you are still looking to buy this phone, I would still suggest this just to go and buy it. I mean, if you're, not a heavy user, but as for me, because I rely so much on my phone, because I edit all of my videos on my phone and that's why I needed something that would last me um forever. That would last me for at least like a few hours without me having to worry about.

Oh, my gosh. My battery life is going to die soon or something like that. But yeah, that's just my update, guys so yeah um on my next video, though I'm going to show you guys like how I would film using this phone. That's the thing. I know the battery life isn't that good, but then you can't really beat the quality of the photo and the videos.

So if you guys wanted to see like the quality of the video and stuff like that, um then go check out all of my vlogs, because I use this phone to film my vlogs whenever I'm outside, when I'm at the mall or something or eating out outside this is the phone that I use. So if you guys are interested to see then go on and check all of my vlogs um, but then at the same time I am, I have an exciting project coming soon, I'm going to film a video for you guys where you could honestly just film using your phone if you're like starting up on YouTube and stuff like that, so yeah, that's everything in this video guys. I hope you guys like this video and find this interesting and as always, if you have any questions, just leave it down below message me on Instagram. I love reading all of your comments and I try to answer each one of them. So thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll see you on my next one bye like I swear, I'm not naked, I'm wearing this bodysuit from Zara, so I'm not naked guys.
