Samsung Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo vs Pixel 2 XL - Speed Test! (4K)

Okay guys so the android 8.0, or your beta 3 updates for the Galaxy S8 is here. We have some couple of internal improvements as well as some Bluetooth things fixed, but not much change compared to the older beta version, so I've already tested the speed of the Galaxy S8 running the Oreo against the iPhone 10, the note 8 and the nougat is+ so, but it's time to put it against the best of Android, which is the Google pixels do excel. So this is the smoothest Android phone that there is right now on the market, no doubt about it. Ever since I caught this phone I have yet to see this phone lag, I mean it is so smooth, completely optimized and again. This is here or hygienic stock Android, so I want to see if Samsung's, new Galaxy S8 with the N or 8.0 Oreo, combined with the Samsung experience, 9.0 UI Chris, is a pure Android phone. So let's get right into it.

Okay, so kicking things off with a bit of comparison. Here we go and as of now, the galaxy estate is the fastest one when it comes to booting up, never tested the pixel before so, let's see if it can beat the SI or not, and yes, it does so. Of course, I mean this is the official version, the s8 it's a beta version may be. The final version might improve, but you can see that both are close. I mean not a huge difference, but the pixel, of course I was a stable, pure Android.

It has to be in, and it is winning all right guys. We got same Wi-Fi network and everything is closed up in the background for gigabyte of ram on both of these two phones. So, first up we have phone dialer and, as you can see, the pixel was a definitely faster there, while the Galaxy S8 is showed a bit of a white animation. It is something that it does with the Oreo, except we got settings and again, the Galaxy S8 was the latest slow with the app and pixel just smoothly opens without any delay when we go on to some third-party applications. So first up, of course, is going to be Instagram.

So, let's see ok, the Google Pixel is done. While the galaxy estate took some time a little, let's just check out my profile and that loaded up I think it'll be faster in the essayed loading up this post about the same check out some games. So we got subway surfer, and this is the latest version of this game. Galaxy S8 started loading and it's done ok. So this is the snap ring at a 235 course.

Processor inside the pixels do excel. Well, it's the Exodus here you see, the s8 is faster with the first game of this test. Next we got another game which is going to be pin out. That is about the same on both phones coming on to Spotify. Maybe the pixel was a tiny bit quicker again.

That was a real close call. Snapchat Samsung Galaxy S8. We got SoundCloud about the same about Twitter and that felt tiny bit quicker on the galaxy s aiding out smash hit another game, and that is about the same no difference at all. So, so far you can see that if the s8 is keeping up a pretty well against a pure Android powered pixels to excels, so the launch one more game to really test out the RAM management on both phones, and I've, heard that the pixel phone actually has some issues with RAM management. So, as you can see both phones about the same again game loading times, you won't be noticing that difference there.

You can see pretty much the same. Lastly, we'll be launching the cameras at the same time. Let's go, and I think the Galaxy S a way a little faster again it. It feels like a draw again. You guys are the judge here, okay time, for it browsing test.

So we got the Google Chrome on the pixel of 2x. Elegance is the internet browser on the galaxy s 8, so both are having their own default browsers. So, let's just get right into the first browser. I mean website, so you can see pretty quick I think the pixel was tiny, faster and fishing up the website, but gain a very my new difference. There we got apple.

com and, as you can see, the pixel just flies through the website. Again, pretty similar result on both phones. Scrolling looks pretty smooth, no lag whatsoever. So let's check out the RAM management game. This is pretty interesting because Samsung Galaxy S8 has been pretty consistent with all the tests that we have done.

It is perfect with the RAM management. So, let's see if it can keep up against the best of Android, so got a slide wide screen on the Galaxy. S8 I think it is a refresh. It happens with the Settings applications. So maybe it is something that is related to the beta 3, but let's see Instagram.

Ok, it does show that wide screen, but it is on that same picture that we left. So, let's see, as you can see, the Galaxy S they didn't show any widescreen I think it was not in refresh. So, let's see we got a couple of more applications, subway surfers and there we go. The pixel started to refresh application. It's the way it is optimized and the rumors, or you know the other test we're true.

Indeed, as you can see, it starts refreshing while the Galaxy S, an is still keeping stuff in the memory just showed a wide screen with the settings application not a big deal, but all the third-party application is still there, while the pixel. As you can see, it is refreshing to launch the game, which is the smash hit. Ok, so that is still there same on the Samsung Galaxy S8, let's see if, although is opened, maybe pixels just got lucky with the smash hit. Ok, although is also open, so chat, that's also there SoundCloud Play Store, and we're back to the browser, so not all applications, but a few did god refresh on the pixel do excel. While the galaxy estate was pretty good again beta 3, it is more stable, it has to perform better, but I mean the performance looks to be pretty similar like the beta 2, so we'll do more testing, whilst the official version is out- and let me know what you think about this test and guys it's the last day to enter the giveaway.
