Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G | Phantom Silver Unboxing! By J. Williams

All right guys welcome back to another video, it's your man jay. So here it is uh in my other video for the s 21. I let you guys know that I was interested in buying the s21 ultra, and here it is so. I ran over to best, buy, walked in grabbed the unlocked model, and here we are so a 6.8 inch 1440 by 3200 display nothing you've never heard before. So you just want to see it right.12 gigs of ram um, uh, snapdragon, 888, 5000 ml of our battery inside, and we're gonna. Kick this thing off? Let's just let's just get if it's to unlock model, like I said before, uh, and we'll go ahead and uh get it open.

I still think it's kind of sad and depressing, and this is just to look at the color basically, because you know hey, I think it's kind of depressing that they opted to uh take away so many things from this box. It's just sad that the prices stay the same, and you know this is all you get a charging cable, some manuals and a sim ejection tool. I think that's kind of messed up. You know that this is the way the industry is going, but this is what they're going to do and if you don't, if you can't get this on some kind of discount, you know hey it's up to you whether you want to spend that kind of money on a device. Obviously I didn't pay 1300 for this.

I got it for a nice discount. Now, I'm glad I went with the phantom silver there's, not a lot of phantom silvers out there. I probably would assume everybody's excited about that black, but this matte back glass with this color here avoids me from even getting a skin. This is just beautiful now. One thing I don't like about: it is the real shiny side right here, but other than that I mean it's fine, it's going to go in a case anyway, so you've got the dual microphone setup up top again, and then you have um nothing on this side, and you have a sim tray on the bottom, with the microphone type c and speaker out down there, and then you've got a real small slit at the top of their looks like and then that's pretty much it powers button and volume rocker.

So this is exciting to finally be able to get this bad boy. Did you guys notice that it doesn't have the name of the device on there anymore? Did you guys notice that, like all my other phones, when you power them on it, says the name of the device? And this one at that? Startup doesn't have that these this galaxy s devices don't have that on the startup for some reason so um I'm excited man uh, I'm I'm I've really been enjoying this version. Like I said in the other video- and I figured you know what I might as well. Just grab the big one I know uh, like I said in the other video I put a lot of videos saying: ah you know: going to pass they're, probably DOA, but the techie in me just won't. Let it go, so I got such a good deal on this.

I got this for half off uh with the trade, and it's over half off. Actually it was 11.50, and I got 650 trade in uh, so that is just incredible uh but um. This is the device next to each other. This is the s21 uh and the s21 ultra. Now the ultra definitely isn't as big as I thought it was going to be uh.

I thought it would be a heck of a lot bigger, but here it is next to my iPhone 12 Pro max it's narrower and taller, so it feels better in the hand. That's that's what it is so um yeah. I was going to get the black, but I was like. I don't want the black. Furthermore, I got a space gray or whatever that graphite is, and then I have the gray version of this.

So, let's, let's shine it up and this metal look right here, looks so good on here man, it just looks. I think this is just a perfect color to get, and I opted to go and just walk into best, buy and grab the unlocked model uh in this phantom silver, because it was either this color or one of the custom colors. Now I won't expose that yet just in case I decided to actually go ahead and get that color anyway. Uh and I won't be returning this one- I mean I'll. Just probably, if I get it is'll go to you you-know-who, but uh.

This color is actually probably the best-looking color of them. All. Aside from that one exclusive color that I thought about getting so well- or I could just give her this one and take the exclusive color, because I still have lots of things I could possibly trade in or just sitting around they're, just giving you know they give extra money uh when you trade in things like they give over the amount you know uh but uh. This is pretty dope right here, man, so I'm going to get this set up real, quick, we'll come back and um I'll, do a restore from this device, and then we'll go from there. So keep watching all right so surprise, surprise: let's go ahead and unbox the phantom black as well, because why gotta level the playing field? You understand what I'm saying: fellas cannot do it alone, so I'm going to probably go ahead and rock out with the phantom black there.

It is and booth and voil?. Now we have the phantom black in the house, and we'll go ahead and bring in the phantom silver and wipe it down real, quick, and here it is, so obviously you know doggone well, if you know my channel there's no buying just one of something you have to buy two of something and that's just how it works. So you know the saying, but here is the phantom black and the phantom silver, so voil? yeah, it's so beautiful. Phantom black looks just as good as the phantom silver and um. That's just how it goes: here's both of them so um.

She will be probably more likely using this phantom silver and I guess I'll go ahead and rock out with the phantom black beautiful, beautiful right yeah. I had to show you this yeah that is just beautiful. So let's go ahead and finish off the video funny story really quickly. I actually had completed this video, and I'm going to go ahead and put the go back to the regular scheduled program. But if you're watching this just know that I had completed this video, and then she walked in saw it loved.

It took it, and so I went back to the store not wanting to get the same color and I grabbed the phantom black, and you know now that I have it. You know the phantom black is dope, I'm gonna rock out with it, and the phantom silver is hers. So, let's get back to our regularly scheduled program, let's finish out the video uh with this device, even though yeah, because I had already shot that, and I'm not going to reshoot. So let's get back to it all right guys. We are back, and I got the device all set up.

One thing I want to point out is that these new fingerprint readers are really fast man. They work perfect, so got this all set up. Uh mirrored this device, obviously everything's the same pretty much uh and uh there. It is so again, like I said in a previous video when I was talking about that s21 on the cameras, I was like really impressed uh with the cameras on there, and I thought you know what this will be- probably even a better experience with the s21 ultra, ultimately same cameras with a few extra quirks and things on this one, that's supposed to give better footage and better photos. So we will definitely see I'm excited uh.

You know blazing fast, um, no complaints. So far. You know everything looks good, let's go into settings and everything, and I'll go down to uh the uh device itself. As you can see there 12 gigs of ram 128, gigs of storage and there it is everything's all good, like the device said. So this should be pretty interesting.

I'm not going to go through all the settings and everything because I went through that on the video for uh, the um s21, the smaller variant. So but you know ultimately same device. Man there's probably an update on this one too, because there was an update uh on my s21 when I first got it as well, but uh, you know just taking a look at it, man, it's absolutely stunning. I'm excited to finally get it in. I'm really looking forward to recording with these cameras and what I plan on doing is recording the opposite video like so when it's time to do I'm working on a follow-up with this one right now, so I'm this is this phone will be used more than likely.

If I don't decide to use my actual camera that I'm using now my a6100 uh, I might go ahead and use this uh phone to record this video and vice versa. I like to do that just to give you some sense of how the quality could be if you're, a YouTuber or a vlogger or whatever you get to test these cameras out and see what you're spending your money on so um. Well once again, for me another great deal, let me bring in my um. This is the z fold two. You can see it's obviously uh wider, but it's still narrow, and it's a little taller.

So that's how it looks I mean, but you know ultimately, but you definitely don't get this big gorgeous display right here. That's for sure. So, ultimately, you know I'm going to go ahead and rock out with this and uh see how I like it again. It's a keeper because you know I got so. I got such a good deal on.

I got it for half off, so there's no reason to get rid of this uh. Furthermore, I'm definitely going to give you lots of videos. If I can and uh we'll see how this works out. So is your man jay? You know, so I like to keep it as clean as possible, and this will be probably one of the few times I actually rock.

With a clear case, I like to wear clear cases on certain colors, so this color is beautiful if I even put a case on here at all, but this is a beautiful, beautiful color. It's its really, really nice, so phantom silver crew, where yet Sherman j I'll see you in the next video take care.
