Samsung Galaxy S20 vs S10 Battery Duel

Hello everyone they just here back again with another video, and today we're going to do a battery comparison between the Samsung Galaxy s10. We have it in white version here. This phone has 3 400 William hour battery and the Samsung Galaxy s20 over here. This phone has 4 000 William hour battery, so let's boot them on. At the same time, they are both fully charged to 100, and we're going to see like just how are the batteries compare against each other? Keep in mind that the s10 has been used for some time, so its battery could have degraded by five six or maybe even seven, eight percent uh. As you know, we don't have official numbers when it comes to Samsung devices.

So somehow the s10 build it up. First and the s21 is going a little slow, so they both have uh. They are both restored from the uh same backup. They both are walked into the same accounts and everything is supposed to be as close as possible. I will put them in full brightness, okay, so they are in full brightness.

Now this phone will be set to 1080p. You know it only has 60 hertz, so you can see it is in 1080p resolution and this one will be set again in 1080p, but in 120 hertz, because this is probably uh how you're going to be using it. So, let's cause all applications. Okay, so done. Let's do the same over here, so this test will be 30 minutes, subway, surfing, okay.

So now that the volume is muted, I will go ahead and leave these two guys for 30 minutes. You can see that the clock right now is 13. It's 13 36. This one already has 97. You can see over here as well 1336.

This one has 98 percent. If we can get this focus okay, so we have the stopwatch going over here. So let's leave them like that for 30 minutes. Starting now. So, let's see after 30 minutes, we have left 88 on the Samsung Galaxy s10 and on the s20 we have 89.

So there is only one percent difference so far. This test is all about the gaps between the two. So now what we have to do is to open the YouTube, application and search for a 4k 60 frames per second video. Okay, so I have opened the video on the two phones. You can see that now it is 2 14 and 10, and we are 35 minutes past the test.

This one starts the test with 89 for resolution, another 10 minutes how these two are going to hold up okay, so we are going to pass the 10-minute mark just now this we did this again for 10 minutes only so that we can see whether the difference will go further, and you can see that right now we have 10 percent difference between the two devices. What this shows us is that, during normal use, teaching Instagram watching YouTube videos and so on. There is no difference between the two phones, even though the s1 is 120 hertz. This is because uh the bigger battery compensates in the s20 for the 120 hertz and makes it as uh as much as uh durable as the s10 for the battery. But when it comes to harder usage like 4k video recording when the device becomes hot and everything is used to its full potential, we can see that the there starts to grow a difference.

This again can be because the s10 has been already used for almost a year, and this could be just because the s20 is better optimized, but these are our results, and we are going to check them over here. So when we go to battery in both devices just to verify this is since the last usage you can see that both phones have been used the same, so we have YouTube 1 hour and 42 minutes 1 hour and 35 minutes. We have the camera, we have Spotify subway, and you can see how the different things used the battery in different ways, and you can see that here we have ever picks for some reason which we do not have over here. But, as I said again, both phones are with the same things installed. So uh, you know usage varies.

So what are our results after 4 hours and 6 minutes? We have 10 percent difference between these two devices. With this, I think that our test is finished because we saw when what is the difference, and when does the difference come from. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you soon bye.
