Samsung Galaxy S20 VS RedMagic 5G - Speed Test

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back to a new speed test. For today, we have the Samsung Galaxy S xx phone that you can find for about nine hundred to a thousand dollars, and then we have the red magic, five geophones that you can find for just under $600. Now both devices have the exact same process, so we have the snapdragon 865 for both devices and also a gig of ram so very similar around the specs. Now the screen resolution on the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 for this video was set to 1080p and 120 Hertz, where the screen resolution on the red magic 5g was set to 1080p and 144 m hertz, just in case you're wondering so. Why don't we start by checking out the score that we get on the an tutu benchmark? So here we get a somewhat higher score on the red magic, five genes and if we click on the squad room- and you can also see the details- so yes, the higher score on the red magic, five genes. Next we're going to move on and do a bit of video editing.

First I'm going to show you they don't have any other apps running in the background. So I only have the an tutu benchmark running in the background. I have the exact same video file on both devices. It's a 4k file. So it's this one here, so press done, and we'll see how fast of each device imports the file so kind of.

In the same time, I couldn't really tell them, which almost fast run so if you've seen one faster and that was definitely faster all right. So we should trim this video file. Let's make it 25 seconds we'll try to make it 25 seconds, at least for as close 25 seconds as I can so 25 point 25 we'll do the same on this one, so 25 point, ah 25 26, so very, very close, we'll press the green button. So, let's see which one is faster, a trimming that file it looks like the s20 will be a bit faster. So, yes, the s20 wasn't a bit faster I! Guess you press next here, let's make it a black and white on video file and what advanced here both devices are going to export.

The video file in 1080p we'll go back, and we'll save the video file. So let's see which one does that faster. So it was the s20 that was a tiny bit faster I'm, not exporting that and video file. We have a little add that we have to skip so wait for this one. All right so leave this some running in the background.

Next we're going to start opening the exact same app so the exact same time, so you can see which device does that faster, so kind of. In the same time, um I would say next Instagram once again kind of in the same time. So let's leave it to this one, for example Firefox. So you have an article here, we'll press home on both so what's been kind of. In the same time, let's, let's just open, um a random article here, okay, so the s20 was definitely faster at the opening that article okay, so leave this running in the background next we're going to open the Play Store in the same time, Twitter I'm, not sure which one was faster, I believe the red magic 5g wisdom a bit faster.

Next, we're going to open asphalt, 9, let's see which one will open the game fast. It's like the s20 is ahead yeah, so definitely the s20 for that one. So leave this running in the background as well on next we're going to open Call of Duty. So, let's see which one has better for on this one. Now it may be the red magic 5g that that is a bit fast run for this one, so yeah, so definitely the red magic on 5g for this, this game, all right, so we'll exit this game and done :, let it be in the background.

Next, we have an open snap scene will open the exact same picture on both of them. We're going to leave this run in the background. Next we have camera. Maybe this 20 was faster for that one, but you can definitely see this better run on the camera, because I actually have to concentrate on pushing those apps at the same time. So let's open this, for example, let it run in the background and the last step that you're going to open is YouTube.

I couldn't tell you which one was faster here. Let's find something: let's open this one, you know just let it run in the background now, let's see what happened to all those apps that we have running in the background so start to the video shop app so in the exact same spot, Facebook in the exact same spot, Instagram Firefox, Play, Store, Twitter asphalt, 9 Call of Duty same spot for both of them, let's go to Snap seed Canva and the YouTube app. No, thanks so yeah very, very similar for video editing. The s20 was about a second faster I would say, but for all the other apps they are kind of equal for one app. This almost faster for another app.

This one was faster, but it's funny to see that, because this phone you can buy for under $600 for this one is almost $1000. So a $300 Ram difference in between these two phones, and you do get the exact same performance. Actually, we get the higher end to score on the red magic on 5g I had this one on a case just in case you're wondering because otherwise they will just move on all over the table here. Alright guys hopefully enjoyed this video. If you did like it, don't forget to press that, like button, don't forget to subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one thanks for watching.
