Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Review

The Samsung, Galaxy, S Tony ultra released about a month ago, received about two weeks ago, is a phone on steroids. It's amazing to see how comfortable we are being uncomfortable back in the day. I used to use an iPhone 3GS with the 3.5 inch display, and I was content with the size of that screen. Three years later, I switched over to the Samsung Galaxy s3, with a 4.8 inch display, and my mind was blown that that screen felt huge to me at the time. Seven years later now, here, I am using a phone with the 6.9 inch display that I can barely use with one hand it's crazy, I'm, going to start off by talking about the design. So you'll know it's in Estonian ultra.

When you see one the front and back of the phone is made out of Gorilla Glass 6 and the sides are made of aluminum. The phone feels pretty good in the hand, but I have noticed one thing, though: the bag feels kind of hollow which makes the phone feel cheap like if you use an iPhone 11, Pro Max or the OnePlus 7 pro next to the Estonian tray, which I've done I can feel the difference in build quality. It might sound like I'm nitpicking, but it's something I've noticed and for a phone that costs $1,300 I think that's worth noting. I only have two gripes about the design I wish it came in more colors than just black and gray, and it's kind of a finger. It is a fingerprint magnet like yeah.

This thing collects a lot of fingerprints so easily, but overall the design looks great if it was alright, and it can take a pretty good beating without a case as further display. It's got a huge yet comfortable to manage six point: nine inch, dynamic, AMOLED 2x screen like the back, it's made of Gorilla Glass six, and it's easily one of the best-looking screens out right now. It's color accurate, it's sharp, and it has a 120 Hertz refresh rate. Unfortunately, I'll refresh rate that high can all be used at the screens' resolution is F, HD, plus or lower. So it's not going to work with HD+.

It looks really sharp, but I'd. Much rather have a high refresh rate than a slight bump in sharpness. It looks like Samsung has also chilled out with the curved screens, because my note 10 plus the screen is so curved that I will get accidental touches from time to time, but with the s20 ultra, it looks like they might have fixed it with a 120 Hertz 6.9 inch display in expecting such great battery life turns out. The five thousand William battery combined with snapdragon 865, is more than enough to easily get me through a full day of use on average I get around six and a half hours of screen on time. So that's with gaming watching YouTube checking my mail and browsing the web ? twenty alters camera specs on paper, something pretty amazing, but the results might change your mind.

Here are some big numbers. It's got a hundred eight megapixel wide camera, forty-eight megapixel telephoto camera 12, megapixel, ultra wide-angle camera and 0.3 megapixel, time-of-flight camera, the 108, megapixel camera and space zoom just makes it sound like this. One is a telescope, and it kinda is actually you can zoom into objects, are like seen so far away, and you know actually be able to see or tell what it is. You know. I was like at least like couple miles away like a mile or two away from the highway and I zoomed in to the highway to see.

What's going on, and I can actually see the cars. It's crazy, like this thing, actually works. Of course, 100 time, X zoom doesn't look the sharpest it's not going to be a photo to take, but it's definitely really, really cool to use in real life, and you know to maybe show it off to your buddies. So don't get this phone if you're solely going to be flexing with the hundred times zoom or expect to take sharp amazing looking pictures with the 100 times zoom because you won't be, but you can definitely take some great looking photos in two times: zoom five times zoom 10 times zoom even 30 times zoom. You know you can make it work, but yeah the hundred times space soon is a feature that I have to give props to Samsung for putting it on the galaxy s.20 Ultra. It's its amazing to see it feels like a prototype, but it still works pretty well, and it's great to see this companies actually pushing the boundaries of what a smartphone can do.

I'm, not just talking about the edge Tony altar here I'm talking about the galaxy flip I mean the Galaxy Z flip the galaxy fold. All these phones and all these amazing innovative technology that we get to use the galaxy s.20 ultra is capable of taking 8k videos at 24 frames per second. What I use it? No, the video is way too cropped in for me to comfortably use 8k. It's got a lot of rolling shutter videos, look choppy if you're constantly moving so 8k vlogging. You can't really do that right.

Now. It's got camera technology, that's far beyond what the snapdragon 865 is capable of right now and ya, really wouldn't use 8k, but 4k. On the other hand, looks it looks great. It's beautiful, I think it's one of the best camera setups out right now you have the ultra wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera and a wide-angle camera. So it's a versatile camera, and can shoot 8k videos too.

At times, if you're, steady, I guess my gripe about the camera is that I'm not able to take ultra wide-angle videos in 4k at 60 frames per second like on the iPhone 11 Pro max I can only take it at 30 frames per second overall, the camera is great. It takes great-looking photos and videos, and it's definitely flexible worthy. This phone can do it all. It's got. A huge 6.9 inch display amazing camera setup on the back end, the specs on this well in terms of performance, it's got: snapdragon 865, a junior, 654, graphics and 12 gigs of ram. All that translates into one of the best Samsung experiences I've had it can run any games any apps.

Anything I want to do. I can do it on the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 ultra it. It runs like a champ people. Don't call this a gaming phone, but I think it's worthy enough to be called a coming phone. It's got five thousand William battery a six point: nine inch, 120 Hertz display and a little hole punch camera on the top, which doesn't come in the way when you're gaming it has 5g.

So you can be gaming anywhere you go. It's also got dual stereo speakers that sound incredible, if I'm being honest, I think it might be the loudest speaker, I've heard on a smartphone it's louder than my NOAA 10, plus it's definitely louder than the 1 plus 7 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro max was on par with the note 10 plus so yeah I'd, say it's a pretty capable phone to wrap this video up, I think the Galaxy S 20 ultra, isn't for everyone, it's for people who want the latest and the greatest hit some more because you know if you want the latest and the greatest you can get the s20 or the last 20 plus.
