Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Vs iPhone SE (2020)! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone time to do another comparison, this time around between the newly released Samsung Galaxy, s20 Fe, and I guess the older iPhone SE 2, even though it's not that much older. It's only like a couple of months older than this thing now there are pros and cons for both of these, but I think the most important thing to hit on is that the galaxy s20 Fe, obviously is more expensive than the iPhone SE 2. This phone costs 3.99 brand new from the Apple Store. You can pick this thing up today if you want to and order it whatever you need to do this one is much cheaper with the galaxy s20 Fe, on the other hand, cost 6.99 for the base model. I think there's only there's a couple models of these things. There's only one model of the se2 and- and it's totally up to you, whichever one you want, but this thing does keep in mind is at least 200 more expensive than this thing, and I'll find the cheapest ones on Amazon and link them both down in the description below.

So you can get them from there and help support the channel at the same time now, starting off with the front, they both obviously are pretty big difference in sizes. You can see the sc2 is far smaller than the galaxy s20 Fe and in literally every dimension here it is standing on top of it, and it's still like bleeding off the edges. The sc2 for sure, is a smaller one. So if you prefer a smaller phone, then this is definitely more of your forte, but if you like, the bigger one, the galaxy s20 Fe is the way to go. Now.

The se2 has a 4.7 inch IPS panel on the front. It's 750p. If you want to call it that, and it's a pretty good panel, you know it's definitely not going to. You know, knock anybody's socks off. You have quite a bit of bezel around the display, but it's really not that bad.

Furthermore, you know you have bezel on the bottom bezel on the top the home button right here, but the screen itself isn't really that bad. Furthermore, you know the viewing angles are pretty decent. The panel gets bright, and I don't think the people who are getting this phone are really focused on the way it looks or anything they're, mostly looking at it as a functionality standpoint and that's a pretty big deal about this specific device. Now you have true tone on it. Like I stated you have haptic feedback and I think for a majority of people out there, they're probably going to be okay with the se2 with the galaxy s20 Fe.

On the other hand, has a 6.5 inch super AMOLED display. Now this is a 1080p panel and I actually do like this panel a lot you have a little of bezel on the top a little of bezel on the bottom, but you have that hole, punch display and definitely looking at them. Both you can see that the se2 looks far outdated than the galaxy s20 Fe. But a really cool thing about this specific panel is that you do have that 120 hertz refresh rate on the screen, and that is a huge asset for a phone like this. That's pretty much the future.

Now this is technically a budget phone, but not really. This is more of a budget phone than this is, but that's a really cool feature. No iPhones have that feature. Yet maybe the iPhone phones will bring it, but this is something that this phone has. That is an extremely awesome feature, so definitely when it comes down to it, at least on the front side, the galaxy s20 Fe definitely wins there for a hundred percent fact.

Now on the bottom, you can see lightning port on the bottom of the se2, USB type c, on the bottom of the galaxy s20 Fe, and on the back we have a little of a different setup, so we have a plastic back on the galaxy s20 FM, and we have a glass back on the sc2. So definitely when it comes down to it, this phone feels far cheaper than that phone, even though it looks better and everything this phone with that plastic bag. You can tell, I don't know what Samsung was thinking. It doesn't feel too much like plastic. It has a weird coating on it, which makes it feel a little more PLA like jelly a little.

I don't know the best way to describe it, but the iPhone se2. It definitely feels like a more premium device than the galaxy s20 Fe just because of that glass. Back for sure you have a single camera setup on the iPhone SE 2 and a triple camera setup on the galaxy s, 20 Fe, and we'll get into more of those in a second, but definitely when it comes down to that. That is a pretty big deal, and I'll definitely say the se2 feels the more premium device, but the galaxy, s20 Fe definitely looks more premium for sure. Now.

In terms of the software standpoint, this is running iOS. This is running android. You know, there's not too many comparisons. We can do there, whichever one you want, you know you can go and pick up from there, but I would still tell you, in terms of software longevity, the iPhone SE 2, even though it was released before this phone. It's still going to be lasting longer in the software department than the galaxy s20 Fe.

This one is going to match the same software versions as the galaxy s20. As far as we know, so it's still going to be quite a bit of time. You know it's not going to be outdated tomorrow, but this is probably getting three years of software support. As stated, this is going to be getting like four or five, maybe five, if we're lucky, but this one's going to be lasting for a much longer time than the s20 Fe, in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure everyone's opinion as well. So when it comes down to that that pretty much covers up the software experience now, let's go ahead and do a little of a speed test between both of them.

Now I'll go and tell you the specs between both first, the galaxy s20 Fe has the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 chipsets, an outscore CPU and arena 650 GPU, and the six gags of ram on the base model and eight gigs of ram on that top tier model. This phone has a six gig of ram option with the se2, on the other hand, has the apple, a13, bionic chip, a hex core CPU and three gigs of ram on each model. So let's go and see which one is the faster one between both of these okay. Let me go and clear out all these apps in the background now on android, it's so much easier, because you can just click that, and they're done with iOS. You still have to go about it.

This way. Now all the apps are cleared out. Let's go and do their designated app stores three two one and, as you can see, the s20 Fe was pretty fast. You know, I think, was way faster there scrolling through you can see pretty much the same, though there's not really that big of a difference between them. So that's a pretty big deal.

In my opinion, they look kind of the same, and I think I said it was a pretty big deal. It's actually not a big deal at all phone calls three, two one pretty much the same. There too. We do the camera three two ones. I think it was about the same there too.

There wasn't really that big of a difference- and I have a bunch of these third priority apps that we can go and get into. We can do fruit, ninja three, two one a little of itchiness going on when you open the app first, but then it eventually kind of fixes through and the s20 Fe was actually the faster one there, as you guys saw the SEO.2 was a little behind it, but definitely when you see it, the animation seemed to be faster on the se2 stack, 3 2 1. , and I think the se2 is faster. As you can see it got into the add faster, that's 20 FP. I don't know why some android devices they just glitch up sometimes and, as you can see, nothing's working.

So I guess we'll just let that one slide as well. Snake versus blocks three, two one and there we go getting into some gameplay. Let's see if there's a difference- and I stated actually that I see two seem to be glitching up a little right there, but they both look kind of the same. They got both kind of even out there Snapchat three two one sc2 far faster sc2 is a little slower. Thank you.

Three two one Fe was definitely faster. There sc2 was noticeably slower there, so that was a pretty big difference. In my opinion, scrolling through the speeds I mean you can kind of see, they're probably going to be around the same as well. We can do Quizlet three, two one as 20 fps faster. I keep saying sc2 that c2 is a little slower, though we can do temple run 2, 3, 2 1.

Now the s20 Fe has a very weird vibration sensor in it, and I really don't know why it's always going off, but you can see the Fe is actually probably faster than the se2. That one was a pretty big apparent difference, and eventually we do get into it on the sc2, but that one was actually pretty strange. I wasn't expecting that big of a difference not scrolling through and playing the game. I don't think there's going to be any difference here. There could be, and I'm watching for glitches or there's not really any Instagram 321, okay, uh s, that's 20 Fe faster! We can do Snapchat.

We already did that. Furthermore, we ended off with the real racing three two one. Hopefully we don't have to download it on either of these devices. But again you just saw the itchiness going on with the s20 few hen you first open it, but I still think it's the faster one, though, which you know, depending on you, you may prefer smoothness. You may prefer speed.

I think you're getting the speed aspect on the s20 Fe, but you're getting the smoothness factor on the sc2. Now it would really suck if this phone just randomly showed that it had still had to download it, because then that would pretty much mean this specific comparison would be off. As you can see, that was a pretty big difference. I thought you know just because this one I was this one was so much faster. I thought this one still had to be downloaded.

That wasn't the case. So definitely when it comes down to the speed aspect, the s20 Fe is the faster one. I think in my opinion, as you guys saw, if you guys think something else you can. Let me know in the comments section, but I think the ic2 is smoother, but I think the s20 Fe is the faster one. So in terms of performance that pretty much covers it up now, let's go and hit on the camera super quickly.

Now, on the back, like I stated triple camera setup here, single camera setup here on that's 20 feet, we have a 12 megapixel, wide 8, megapixel telephoto and then a 12 megapixel ultrawide sensor on the sc2. We have a single 12 megapixel sensor. Now, when it comes down to the pieces of software of both devices, you can see there. They look kind of the same, but iOS has always had pretty bland software. You know like there's not that many features, whereas on the galaxy s20 Fe.

We have all these crazy features built in right here. Look at how many settings, and even with now with iOS 14, we did get more settings kind of on the iPhone sc2, but on one UI 2.5, and I'm hoping with one UI three. There are also a ton of additions in the camera setup. So not only do you get that extra sensors on the s20 Fe, but you're getting way more features built into, which is another big thing, but as you can see side by side, their cameras are kind of the same. They can take photos and videos as expected, but you're getting way more settings from a phone like that's 20 FP, in my opinion than on the se2 now the sc2 had a pretty good camera set up.

I really never had anything wrong with it. You know it looked pretty good. I think I did like three or four camera comparisons between this phone and some other phones, and I saw that for the most part like yeah, it got the job done. You know it doesn't have. The ultrawide sensor doesn't have a telephoto lens, but I still think for the most part.

You know it's. It's a good enough sensor for a lot of people as long as you're, not doing like you know, 4k at 120 frames per second, or you're doing like 8k videos. You don't really need the know something crazier. You can probably do everything you need to from the se2. Furthermore, you also have a 7 megapixel front facing camera as well, which really isn't that bad, but definitely when it comes down to it.

The s20 Fe, I think, is the far superior one you're getting that triple camera set up you're, getting a 32, megapixel front-facing camera, which you can do 4k at 60, on with the sc2, only tops out at 1080p at 30 on that front camera, but you're getting you're getting that extra sensors. I think that's the best thing about it, even though it's not really a crazy good camera. I actually don't think it's that bad. You know it's kind of like a s20 light version of it, but I think the best thing about Samsung cameras are definitely the features you're getting all. These features like this you're getting pro mode, which is really awesome, you're getting pro video mode as well right here, which I talked about a lot in another video, and that is definitely something that I really do like about these devices.

So definitely when it comes down to it, that's 20 FP, I think, has a better camera, but the se2 isn't too far behind in terms of a quality standpoint, you're just getting way more features from the s20 Fe. Now ending it off with the battery life, we have a 1821 million power battery on the se2 and a 4 500 million power battery on that galaxy, s20, Fe, and again you're getting better battery life from the s20 fee. At the end of the day, I think the se2's battery life is good. Actually, this is probably one of his biggest. You know, downfalls.

In my opinion. I think it would have been way better on the s20 Fe had the se2 had a better battery system in place, but again it is what it is, there's really nothing we can do about it, but definitely when it comes down to it. The s20 Fe has the better battery life for sure. So to kind of sum up the video and to answer the question: should you buy the se2? Should you buy the galaxy s20 Fe? Well, let me break down some pros and cons for the se2. First, it's a great phone for the price you know, but it doesn't really excel in anything besides performance.

The build quality is great, but it doesn't look like a newer device. Like that's 20 feet, the screen is good enough. For the most part, the camera system is great, but it's not. You know better than the s20fv. In my opinion, I think the biggest selling point of this is Apple's ecosystem and getting a brand-new phone getting a brand new iPhone for that matter.

At a super low price tag at 3.99 compared to a lot of other phones in the market- and I think that's not a bad thing. You know I think, for the people who are getting the se2, it's not a bad option. I love this phone. I still use it. Furthermore, I still have it here.

Furthermore, I make some videos on the second channel about it sometimes, but I think for a majority of people, the se2 is perfectly fine, but when you're trying to get the most amount of bells and whistles from a phone, I think the s20 Fe is a tremendous way to go. The only downside is that it is 200 more expensive than this phone, and it's actually 300 more expensive. I was looking at the 5.99 price tag on Amazon, but I actually bought this for 6.99, so it's like 300 at least, and there's that's for the base model, but you're getting you know a better looking device you're getting that 120 hours, refresh rate you're, getting reverse wireless charging, a triple camera setup, which I think is really nice and there's really not that much to hate on this device. It is a more expensive phone, but you're also getting way more features than a sc2, but you're, also not getting as much software support you're not getting as many software updates and the longevity of support. This phone will still be getting updates when this phone isn't.

So that's another pretty big thing to keep in mind as well, so those are just some pros and cons. You know if I had to say it I mean you can pick up either. One of these. I think it's going to be totally okay, but I'd love to know which one you pick up again.
