Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra hands-on sneak preview By HardwareZone SG

Hi this is Heinz from hardware zone. Today I have here with me Stephanie from Samsung to go through and view the new Galaxy Note, 20 series phones, so Samsung has released two variants of the note 20 series. One is the note 20 ultra and the other one is the regular note 20. So I have here with me one in white, which is the note 20 ultra and the one in bronze. In my other hand, is the note 20. Obviously they are both of different sizes.

One of them is 6.7 inch and that's the smaller note.20 and the larger phone is 6.9 inches. Both of them are Samsung. AMOLED displays the note.20 ultra is the one that comes with 120 hertz, refresh rate, and also it also has a bigger battery capacity as well. If you compare it with the older note 10, you can see that there's a different camera housing on the rear and also they come with a lot of software improvements and also some hardware improvements which we'll go through. As we take a look at the phone, perhaps the most important of all is actually in both note 20 and note 20 ultra you now get.

You now get an improved s-pen experience mainly from its decreased latency, so that you have a lot more fluidity when you say when you're using s-pen to write on the device so Stephanie, perhaps you could take us through what the new improvements are to the s-pen, especially when compared to the previous version of the note series. So we have improved the latency of the s-pen on the Galaxy Note, 20 series, especially for the Galaxy Note, 20 ultra, which the latency has been improved to 9 milliseconds, so user can actually get a really smooth buttery writing experience, just like a real pen on paper, so the s pen isn't just about writing and drawing. We have previously introduced air actions which allow you to remotely control the device, and we are expanding on those controls to make the experience even easier and more helpful. Just use any of the new gesture on the s pen called anywhere actions which will help you to navigate the device and run the show from any app. So let me just do a quick demo on this, so say.

For example, I am on the gallery: okay and with the s pen, by just pressing the button on the s pen and making a gesture like this, I could actually go back to the home screen very easily thanks for showing us what the s-pen can do. Stephanie no problem home to us. So there's a lot more to what the note 20 and note 20 ultra offers, but we'll just go through what the camera is for both models. So both note, 20 and note 20 ultra are triple rear configuration. They have three cameras on the rear.

The note 20 ultra is the one with 108 megapixel camera main camera, and it also comes with a hybrid laser autofocus on top of conventional autofocus. The regular note 20 is the one with a 64 megapixel main camera. The main difference between these two is that the note 20 ultra offers 50 times zoom, whereas the regular note 20 has 30 times zoom. So there's a lot more to what the note 20 series offers, which you can see on our website and our social pages.
