Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Unboxing with Camera Test

I am back from Samsung unpacked. It was a big venue, those tons of people there and the presentation was out of this world, but it was all about this. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 I managed to get my hands on it a little early. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to unbox this. Let you know what comes inside the box. Tell you all the new features, and then I'm going to go outside, take some pictures with it and show you what this camera can do.

So, let's go ahead, get started all right. So, let's see what comes inside the box here, and it's going to come in four different colors I have the lavender one here and there's also gonna, be a blue one with the yellow, S Pen, which I really like and there's gonna, be a copper and also a black edition as well. So nothing too crazy here same kind of presentation that you would normally see on Samsung devices. You get a similar removal tool here, and you're. Also, going to get some paperwork.

Nothing too. Fancy there. Of course, you're going to get the phone, and this is the lavender version right here. Take a look at what else comes in the box. You get the fast charging brick.

Of course, you get the USB to USB-C adapter. Those are good for OTG file, transfers and things like that, and you end up getting more S Pen tips, which is really nice. You get the AKG headphones, which are also very nice, pretty decent sounding headphones to by the way, which is perfect that they include this. They should because the price on this is pretty heavy. This starts at about a thousand bucks and there is going to be a version.

That's twelve hundred and forty-nine dollars in the US. The prices to get them really, really high at the top peak of the price point. But there is also a USB-C court here and some extra headphone tips, let's go and start with. What's new on the note, 9, and I'm gonna start with hardware, and the two big improvements that I can see here. Right away is obviously the fingerprint scanner it's right, underneath the cameras now.

So it's really easy to get to. That was my biggest gripe, probably on the know date when it came to the ergonomics of it. And then, if you look on the front here, you actually get stereo speakers, which is a big deal so now. This is just like the galaxy s, 9 plus, so no more single finger blocking of audio. So that's great for the note 9 and then a no 9 also gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, with 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigs of storage, and that comes standard like that, but there's also a 512 gigabyte version, which is a whopping twelve hundred and forty-nine dollars in the US, and that comes with eight gigabytes of RAM, though so that's going to be one of the biggest things.

So I can't wait to get that one in, but for the normal average person. They're, probably gonna, stick with this model right here, the six gigabytes of RAM with 128 gigabytes of internal storage, and it still has an SD card slot as well. So technically, if you get to 512 model, they say it's one terabyte ready, which is absolutely crazy. The display gets a little bigger at 6.4 inches versus the 6.3 on the Galaxy Note 8. This is still quad, HD, plus still Super AMOLED, very crispy, super inky, blacks, awesome, color, so I, don't think anybody's gonna really argue with you that this is the best display on the market right now.

One of the most important upgrades is the four thousand William hour battery. That's in here that should get through a full day's work load. So I'm gonna, let you know in the full review coming up very soon, but that is a pretty big jump from the 3300 William hour battery. That was in the note, 8, so I'm definitely looking forward to that when it comes to the all-day battery life, but we all know what's up, we need to put it to the test, so every other feature that you've seen on other Samsung phones or even the node eight are brought over here, and this is pretty much I'm thinking, the most complete smartphone. That's out there right now, because it has so many features.

It has everything that you could ask for in a flagship device. So it's got all the security features, fingerprint scanner, iris scanning facial scanning. It's also got a wireless charging fast charging, ip68 water-resistant, and it's also got high-resolution cameras, dual cameras. It's also got a high-resolution display, and it's got a headphone jack as well. Dual speakers I mean it just keeps going on and on I think this could be the most complete package in a phone right now and even though it commands a hefty price point at $1000, this could be the only phone that's actually worth paying $1000 for because you are getting pretty much every feature that you can on the flagship phone right now.

I have a little of a feeling that people are gonna. Disagree with me, so let me know which phone that you think is the most complete package out there right now when it comes to performance, specs and how much it costs. So, of course it wouldn't be a Galaxy Note. Without this thing, the new s-pen and the big deal. What the new s-pen is that it has an internal battery and is connected by Bluetooth LE now so there's going to be a lot of new features in here to let you control presentations directly from here control, the camera.

You can unlock the phone from here as well. So these are neat features. Now, when you put this into the silo of the note 9, it will charge this, but for some reason, if this is not charged, all the other Pen functions will still work before I go outside and start taking. Some pictures I want to show you some new s-pen functions here, or I want to show you some stuff. That's here in the settings.

If you go into s-pen here, you can manage the S Pen features and what you're going to see is you're gonna, see the S Pen remote and that's probably the biggest function here. It's going to show you what the battery life is like, and then you can customize these features. So I have a setup like this, where you hold down the button on the pin, and it's going to open the camera and all I have to do, is double tap to flip it in to selfie mode, which you'll see me on right now, I'll double tap back and then, if you just press it once it will take the photo. So I can see this being very useful, and I can see people using this a lot. This should be the same camera setup as we've seen on the s9 plus.

So hopefully there are some refinements here in processing, so I'm going to go outside and take some pictures. You let me know what you think about that and let me know what you think about the Galaxy Note 9 in general and if you're going to pick one up or not stay tuned for a ton, more coverage on this, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
