Hey guys, it's time to do it, speed, disc comparison between the iPhone, 7 plus versus the new Samsung Galaxy Note, a note. It has the same internals as the Galaxy S8, but it's coming with an updated software and sixes of RAM and the best buy results are also better than the SI. So we'll see how that will translate into real-life usage so before starting off this test. I do want to mention that the iPhone 7 plus, is about to get replaced by the iPhone 8 in about less than two weeks. So this is an old phone. But again this is for fun.
This is we check out the performance and don't get serious guys. Apple Samsung love both starting off with the boot up test, and let's do this. At the same time, three two one go and okay logos are here: Samsung, Galaxy, Note, 8 powered by Android and, of course, Apple iPhone, 7 plus, which is running the iOS.10 point three. So, let's see and the Galaxy Note 8 boos ah faster, it's done and, as you can see, the iPhone is a bit slow again. That was expected because the iPhone is also slower than the s8 in terms of booting up in my testing, so same Wi-Fi network on both phones, and we got everything closed up in the background, so without any further way to let's start with the first application starting off with the phone dialer.
So let's launch this at the same time here we go and, as you can see, tiny bit faster on the Galaxy Note 8. Of course, iPhone has this smooth animations, which I absolutely love beets wise? It's kind of a disadvantage there, but let's see we got settings and again same resolve the note 8 a bit snappier with its animation time to move on to are some third-party applications. Now this is going to be in the showcase of the real power. First off we have Riptide GP. We and Made I, really like this game.
Here we go and ok, Galaxy Note 8 wow, that is the head, is awesome. The note 8 is faster here, bidding the iPhone in a game which normally doesn't happen. We got pin out another awesome game and this time the iPhone is faster. So quick little comeback from the iPhone 7 plus next up is BB racing, another favorite game and okay, Galaxy Note 8 iPhone is right behind I. Think iPhone is going to win.
Yes, the iPhone 7 plus is faster quite faster and Note 8 picking up the pace, but it is slow here, and it's now done next up we got smash hit and, let's see, okay, iPhone is done followed by the Galaxy Note 8. So you can see the iPhone still is a pretty good fast phone moving on to Snapchat and the note 8 faster, go tuber and faster on the no data gain same result check out the Instagram. Okay, as you can see, the note 8 faster with the latest feed, while the iPhone is a little bit slow there, let's check out my profile and that load it up faster on the iPhone, so the iPhone you know, is slow in loading up the feed, but it always loads up my profile faster, open up a post and kinda beat faster on the Galaxy Note 8 again the iPhone has a bit of animation going on to smooth up the things. Lastly, we'll be opening up cameras on both phones at the same time, let's go and as you can see, though, 8 is faster there. That was the apps opening test, let's move on towards the browsing test and that will give us some time to test out the RAM management.
Okay, so first website we have is Wikipedia. org: let's go okay and, as you can see, the Galaxy Note 8 amazingly fast, while the iPhone is also pretty fast, bilipid slower compared to the note ad you can see. Scrolling looks pretty smooth on both phones, same thing with zooming in and out you can see no difference at all pretty fast, but phones are absolute monster step we got twitter. com and, let's see if iPhone can come back, seems like now because the note 8 yes, it's not the note it is done. Okay, the iPhone is a bit slower again so time to test out the RAM and, let's see if 6 GB of ram is enough for the note 8 or not.
First off we got phone dialer and, as you can see, kept there in the memory by both phones moving on to settings. Okay, that's also there Riptide GP and oh my god. There goes the first refresh on the Galaxy Note 8. Next we got pin out and that is kept there in the memory nicely by both phones moving on to beach buggy racing. Ok, as you can see that is kept here in the memory, so, so far no refreshes on the iPhone, but one refresh on the note.8, let's see, okay, we got smash hit, that's also there in the memory Snapchat. Still there Uber we got Instagram and lastly, we are back to the browser.
So overall after said, both phones are pretty damn fast. The note aid 1 in the boot up comparison. It was also faster in some applications thanks to its fast animations and also defeated the iPhone in a game as well. The iPhone, of course, is still the king of the optimization, despite having 6 GB of RAM the note it refreshed just one game and I guess it's all down to the optimization. This Riptide GP game is a really heavy game.
You know, and normally I do see these games, Riptide, GP and BB racing sort of you know refreshing because they are made by same developer, so I might switch them with subway surfer in my next test, but yeah I mean I've decided to include heavy games because I wanted to test out the 6 TB RAM on the note 8 and it sort of did a pretty good like 99% good with just 1 refresh iPhone was pretty good. Like always, it performs perfect RAM management wise. So thank you so much for watching this speed test comparison between the iPhone, 7 plus versus the Galaxy Note 8 I will see you guys soon. Peace out.
