Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Review - GAMER'S PERSPECTIVE

The note 20 ultra has a 120hz refresh rate screen, which means it's able to run PUBG mobile at its maximum frame rate of 90 frames per second, while on the smooth, graphics, setting graphics, setting balanced HD HDR are able to be run at an extreme frame rate, which is 60 frames per second ultra HD graphics can be run at ultra frame rate, which is 40 frames per second, not advisable if you're trying to get the kills or win. The note, 20 ultra is able to run Call of Duty mobile to very high graphic quality at the max frame rate, which is 60 frames per. Second, we currently cannot get better than that in cod mobile playing PUBG mobile at the highest frame rate of 90 frames per second at maximum brightness. The note 20 ultra is able to last a total of 3 hours and 52 minutes of continuous gameplay, starting at 100 battery until it runs out of charge. This is very impressive and would be suitable for gamers who like to play, while on the move, the phone performed very well during the 3 hours and 52 minutes, with no sign of thermal throttling and no force brightness dims. The only thing I noticed was the occasional frame rate drop while jumping from the plane during a hot drop location.

It charges faster than it discharges while playing so if you're charging, while enjoying your favorite game, you will be able to play forever. Perhaps the most overlooked and important part of the gaming phone is the touch latency. This is the time taken between touching the screen and the screen. Reacting to your inputs, the lower the touch latency means the faster reaction times quicker, aiming and better tracking to measure touch. Latency a mirror was set up so super slow-motion camera of 480 frames per second could capture the moment.

A finger touches the screen and the moment the screen reacts to the input by playing the super slow motion footage. We are able to count the number of frames between when my finger touches the screen and when the phone reacts to the inputs, 26 frames. After my finger touches the screen, we are able to see the muzzle flash of the gun dividing the number of frames of latency by the frame of the slow motion camera. We can calculate that the touch latency of the note 20 ultra is 0.054 seconds or in other words 54 milliseconds. This is significantly better than my other phone.

The OnePlus 7 pro, which had an 84 millisecond touch latency the lower the number the faster the screen is able to respond to your inputs. The difference in touch latency can be clearly felt while aiming the note 20 ultra feels more snappy, and I could track enemies with superior accuracy than the OnePlus 7 pro starting at the temperature of 25.7 degrees c. The note 20 ultra heated up to 30 degrees c after 10 minutes, 33 degrees after 20 minutes, 35.3 degrees after 30 minutes, 36 degrees after 40 minutes and back down to 35 degrees after 50 minutes and stayed at 35 degrees. After an hour of continuous gameplay, it remained surprisingly cool over these long periods of time, and I did not notice any kind of thermal throttling. This is what the phone looks like outside in cloudy British weather, that we always have the note.20 ultra has great viewing angles. However, the screen shows reflections in the face of bright daylight, although it is definitely playable outside playing inside, would result in a clearer image and better playing experience.

The note 20 ultra felt uncomfortable to hold at first, because I rest the bottom corners in the palm of my hand. Like many do, if you hold the phone like this, you may find the pointy sharp corners to be discomforting. I soon found an alternative way of holding the phone, which involved resting the flat sides of the phone in the palm of my hand and holding it like a controller. The large camera bump on the back is very noticeable. However, I found it to be a great place to tuck my middle finger for extra control, while using gyroscope to aim the note.20 ultra feels like a very high quality phone with strong internal specifications. It is a high budget phone and performs like one too, with flawless game performance.

The unusual pointed corners can take some time to get used to, but after just a couple of weeks of gaming on the phone it felt very natural. One thing to note is the phone being used is the snapdragon version of the note 20 ultra the Enos version is expected to perform slightly worse, and it will run a little hotter games like PUBG mobile, have recently brought out the 90 frames per second mode, and the next step in performance would be 120 frames per second. The note 20 ultra will be ready for this change, as it has a 120 hertz screen. This phone need not worry about being outdated anytime soon, because of this, and because of the strong internal specifications, 120hz will be able to be powered without problem. After having used this phone for 4 months, I can confidently recommend it to all gamers.
