Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Unboxing and Setup

Hi guys I'm max Wabash, with DA TV and today, I'm going to be unboxing. The aura blue Samsung Galaxy, Note, 10.1, plus in the box I haven't set it up. I did open the box just to check out the color, but brand-new phone I got it like an hour ago from Best Buy, pretty great um. So let's just open it up on the back. Here you can see it's unlocked by Samsung the note 10 + 256 gigabytes of storage, its OF s3 on the front. Here you see it's the nice blue, so that's there we go and then right up here in the top the box, you got sim card tool and then actually up in the manuals yep they're there felt so light.

I didn't even feel the manuals comes with a screen protector in the box and then a quick reference guide. Nothing important! It's the usual basic stuff, no case in this. Some international models will have a case. I got a US model because I'm in the U. S.

so, but I do not have a case with mine. So let's take out the phone peel off this plastic I'll. Try to get the sound, hopefully that caught it and then yeah, so I'm going to turn this on. Also, I'm going to remove the screen protector when I did that on the UM SN+ unboxing, you guys did complain, but let me tell you guys why I'm going to remove it first off: it's not a good screen protector. It's what I would consider trash.

It's a BS frank, um, it's very thin! Furthermore, it's very light, and my mom has had one on her ass, not s ten! For a while, and it's like bubbling up around the camera. It's not great, and I do prefer the feel of just the glass, so I'm gonna just put that down for a second and look through the rest of the box. So here we've got just piece of paper, I guess and the 25 watt fast charger um. This is 25 watts. It does.

The note 10 plus, does support up to 45 watts. It has to be the Samsung charger for now or has to support PPS and 45 watts over a USB power delivery.3.0, it's complicated it's annoying, but you do get one in the box. It charges your phone to a total battery anywhere from about 65 to 75 minutes, seeing that was reporting, 65 Michael, Fisher mister mobile, said about 75 for his, so it kind of depends on um. It should get you up to around 70 or so percent in 30 minutes, I have not had a chance to test it with my or aloe note 10 plus, but it should be around there. Here.

We've got a USB OTG, adapter and inside I do believe. There is a micro USB to USB adapter I. Don't want to take it out because it's kind of a pain to put back in because I'm never going to use it. But ya know it just put that off the side. Here we've got the USB cable.

This goes with the of course. Cable charging, brick, it is USB CD USB, see Samsung is trying to go full USB see. So that's nice I do like USB to USB, since that, like my laptop's USB, see all my phones or USB see everything's USB see at this point, so it does make it a little nice and then last but not least, we've got the earbuds. Now Samsung did remove the headphone jack on this phone, which I assume if you're watching this video, you already know just a little of a bummer, but they did include their really nice AKG earbuds in the box, and this time they come with a USB cable. So their USB see Sony in their weird idea.

Actually doesn't have a headphone jack on the Xperia 1, and instead they include 3.5 millimeter earbuds with an adapter. It's really weird to be honest, and I'm, not sure why they do it, but they do, and I'm glad Samsung didn't go that route. Since honestly, it's a little annoying something else. It's a little annoying, there's no adapter. So maybe you want to use your old earbuds, or you have some wired headphones that you really like.

You have to go out and buy an adapter Best Buy does sell one for about nine dollars. It's the Google one uh I like it. It's pretty good I, believe it does have an ad AK in it, but yeah it's pretty good um. That is the one I would recommend getting since its cheapest. That I know of and pretty good Samsung's they do make one is about fifteen dollars, and they do also make better ear buds that have active noise-cancelling which are on their website.

So yeah. You just go put this box off to the side here and also just something to let you guys know all the accessories that come with the note 10 here, not really the ear buds. Actually, these are a little glossy, but these are all matte finish: um, it's not glossy any. The S pen's glossy everything previously has been glossy, and they did this because, according to Samsung, it helps save the environment by using matte material instead of offering I'm not sure how accurate that is. But if they say it do I'll take their word for it and I appreciate them doing that.

You just put that off the side and, let's turn on the fire. The phones are young, so I'm actually going to go through the setup process with you guys, because a lot of you guys don't know what the setup process is like on a Samsung phone I'm also going to keep these because they do have a firmware update. So once I set this up, I can show you guys how easy the update is. So, let's go I'm, not going to put my sim card in yet since I have it in the aura: glow, no 10, plus and I. Don't want to switch over white yet so agree to this.

They also just turn yeah agree to everything. Why not I'm not gonna transfer over I like to start my phones, fresh, just sign into my Wi-Fi here and connect well I have to disable to write up their big people actually talk you through the process. I'm, not sure why Samson added that, but they did, and it's relatively cool um I, usually muted halfway through, but for the less techie among us, it's pretty nice. Some people, like it my mom when she set up her s10, used it because it was nice to hear someone kind of speak it out to you, but you don't have to also just gonna, signed my email, real, quick, um and then make sure when you use an email to use. Two-Factor authentication I use Google's, so you need to just verify it on another device but make sure to use it here.

We go agree: okay, getting it set up. The subtle process on Samsung phones is generally actually pretty easy. You can select if you want to do a backup I'm not going to at the moment you can set up your fingerprint, so I, don't like facial recognition. I, like fingerprint, continue pattern. Okay, so you scan your fingerprint.

This is an ultrasonic and display fingerprint scanner, just like the s10 and the s10 5g and other Samsung phones at our flagship. So they do have some mid-range that are obstacle, though so here you'll just put your finger on there, and you'll give a little haptic feedback every time you press your finger down. It does take a second to register. As you see, it did say, press down harder at the beginning, and you get to 80%. It allows to do the outside of your finger, and then you're done I'm, not gonna, add I, usually add both thumbs and both pointer fingers, but I'm not gonna.

Do that right now, just for the sake of time and finishing touches, Samsung Account, I'm, just gonna sign on Google here bring it. You know, yeah sound with Google, it's already done, and I'm all set. My phone is now fully set up and this is the default. So this is what it looks like by default. I'm gonna just mute that, so I don't get a bunch of crazy notifications yeah.

So this is default. This is how a new Samsung unlocked phone comes out of the box um. We have three for Microsoft, apps, pre-installed outlook, OneDrive office and LinkedIn. Then we have the Google Apps, the Samsung Apps Facebook, Samsung global goals, Spotify and that's about it, Oh Netflix! Sorry, it's not super bloated um. It does have a lot less pre-installed apps than I used to and a little more than I would like I'll, probably disable or get rid of a couple of them.

First off Facebook, um, yeah, and I just want to talk about Samsung cool global goals really quickly, it's actually a really cool app. So they do this to help. Well, they consider that the environment and just people globally, it's just mute that I don't want to watch the video at the moment. So what it'll do is change your life. You set it up.

It can change your lock screen and it'll. Just give you ways to help United Nations, that's what who Sampson partnered with it also has a cool lock screen thing: must've been an update, but it will let you um, add ads it's optional, to add ads to your lock screen and any of the money. That's they get from. The ads will be donated to the United Nations global goals' foundation. It's pretty nice! If you are interested in supporting that, you can sign up in the app becomes pre-installed in the note ends, and if you don't like it, you can easily uninstall it.

It's super nice and then just after the software lets just get into a little of the hardware you can see here. This is the aura blue. Depending on it looks like a nice blue. It reminds me kind of the note, nine and note eight combined when you get the Sun into it. It becomes a lighter shade of blue.

Otherwise, it's kind of like a dark, bluish, gray and I personally find to be one of the nicest colors after red, but the red isn't in no US. You can pull out the s-pen here, get on display, off-screen notes. Then you get the S Pen, so I'm also going to grab my or a glow Note 10, and you can see here the difference in colors um. It's really hard to record these phones, it's because of how shiny they are. You can see the aura glow and how it changes.

Colors got a little blue purple red in there um. If you actually look at it, that's my window, reflecting against it and depending on how the light goes, the phone changes colors. It's interesting. It's a weird effect. Furthermore, it's for some people, not others, but both phones are exactly the same.

Otherwise, you got the power buttons on the side. You got volume rockers, then power button right underneath and see right there. You got nothing on the right side. It's completely empty, no power button like it used to be so. You actually have to use your pointer finger if you're right-handed, if you're left-handed, you'll use your thumb, and it'll, probably be pretty nice for you.

I'm right-handed and I don't mind it. It takes a little of getting used to, but I've used this phone for, like 3 or 4 days. Now, it's pretty nice, not a big deal for me. I, like it um, yeah and I. Think that's about it.

Oh yeah, proud about the ear boats can't forget about the ear buds, so you plug them in, and you should get a little notification here about a firmware, update, yep right down here and see. There's a firmware update for the USB earbuds, you just click update, it'll, take a second to download them and the firmware is updated. So weird little update, and I'm not sure why your buds need an update, but I hope it improves quality, and I'm. Not going to complain about it. Yeah.

If you guys are interested in picking up any of these devices from Samsung I highly recommend you get it from Samsung that isn't because of carriers are unlocked versions. That is actually because you guys can get a 10% discount on the note, tents or any Samsung phone. So Samsung has this referral program. Where you guys can use my code and by using my code you will get 10% off your order. It is a 10% off total, and they do stack so if you're trading in a phone that 10% will be added to it, the 10% works for up to two hundred and fifty dollars off.

So you get a total of 250 off on the note ends. If you were to buy it outright is $1,100, you will get it for nine hundred and ninety dollars. That's a that. It's essentially the thousand dollar phone um with that discount code. If not it's 1100 and the smaller one is 950 with the discount code.

It's about 860, it's a pretty good deal and I know, and it does actually support me if you guys do use the code. I will get Samsung rewards points for each purchase that you guys make with that referral code and that actually helps me buy these devices, because neither of these devices were review. Units from Samsung I did purchase both of these, so it does help out. It does help me, and it does help you guys with that discount. It is only in the US and I will link the codes and a little more information on the referral program.

In the description in case you guys are interested in using it. So thank you guys for watching, and let me know you the note ends. Um I've had it for a couple of days, and I'm going to be honest, not having a headphone jack, isn't a big deal just it just isn't at this point it might be to some people. But to me, it's not in the note ends with the USB earbuds and Galaxy Buds. It works out.

Well, so yeah. Thank you guys for watching. Let me know you think of the phones in the herbs in the comments.
