Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Review | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!

Nice, as you may know, Samsung has a beautiful new beast in town, and it is the Samsung Galaxy Notes 10, plus this premium phone is packed with a ton of features, and they are a couple of new ones. I want to highlight in this video, but also stay until the end of the video, because that is where I will show you the worst feature or lack thereof. So, let's get into it as always, starting off with what you get in the box and here's what you can expect when unboxing your own Galaxy Notes 10, plus they include quite a couple of bits and pieces so to go through each single item. First up you get this box, which has your tweezers and extra s10 tips. So here's what the tweezers look like, and you obviously use them to remove these two chips and each tip has a different flexibility. Then you get your sim dual key: a Quick Start Guide, which you should always check out and then also your warranty card and extra info.

You then get a c2 silicone case, which is really awesome. Of course, some AKG earphones, but it comes with the USB c-type connection, as opposed to all Jack. You then get your charging brick as well, which is also a USB-C to us PC connection. So this is what the cable looks like both ends are USB. Then, of course you get the beautiful notes, 10 plus, as well as the s-pen, with in the notes, 10 plus, all packaged in this box.

So I picked up the aura glow edition of the note, 10, plus, and I personally think it looks so epic. The build quality is also fantastic and everything we've come to expect from Samsung. They did lose the button on the right hand, side of the device which I actually welcome, I think it is a much better move and I prefer just having buttons on the left hand, side when it comes to the s-pen, there's almost nothing new. In regard to the design, it's still sleek a small and compact, but does have some awesome, Bluetooth capabilities which we'll get into later and then, on your left hand, side, you have your volume, rocker and just below that the power button lock button and Bixby button all in one and nothing on the right-hand side on the base of the phone. You have your standards, mic USB-C inputs, speaker and the S Pen, but you may notice something else missing which we will also get into a bit later, then, on the top of the device again you've pretty much had your stand, it's the sim and SD card or a secondary speaker and then also microphone.

Now the note 10 and note 10 plus devices do come in a couple of different colors and, as mentioned, I picked up the aura glow Edition. Some people have said it looks like the back of a CD yeah. It kind of does and I can see where they're coming from, but it still looks so, so amazing on to the glorious display and if I'm not mistaken. The note 10 plus has one of the best screen to body ratio is currently out there on the market. As you can see, the screen takes up 90% of the device and I think it's thanks to moving the speaker as well as, of course, some other design elements, but it is indeed a beautiful display and that bezel is also thin just the way I like it.

It is a dynamic. An elitist place of the colors are super vivid and the blacks are super dark. It does also have the slightly curved edge. I know. Some people were curious about that sewed.

Is there an overall a massive 10 out of 10 for display? In my opinion, in terms of size denote, n+ is a big device. It's roughly 77 millimeters wide by 162 millimeters. It is also less than a centimeter thick and weighs roughly 196 grams. Furthermore, it is bigger than most devices out there, and I can see why some people call it a phablet because it is almost in the tablet territory. So if you're a fan of big screens, then this one is perfect for you and then just for some size context.

On the left-hand side we have the Galaxy Note 10 and, on the right hand, side the Galaxy, S 10 plus, so it's definitely bigger than both those photos onto the camera and as with any device, there is always a lot to go through, but starting off on the back. You still have the ultra-wide camera, wide-angle camera and telephoto camera, as well as the flash depth, vision, camera and depth vision sensor, all to the right hand, side of the phone, then, on the front of the device we have a 10 megapixel selfie camera. There is no depth camera, but that's expected on the note line, and it does still take epic selfies with just this one camera in regard to settings in the camera. Not a lot has changed. You can still easily change.

The aspect ratios and use Pro Mode toggles between the various lenses, and it takes amazing pictures. So here are a couple of pictures that I took using the note 10 plus absolutely nothing has been edited. This is literally straight from the device and, as you can see as well, here is what it looks like when you use the various lenses and then back to that selfie camera here is what a live load looks like, so it gives you that both effect and doesn't pretty well. In my opinion, you also get panoramic mode amazing. How wide the angle is, but the biggest addition overall has to be that you can now record in live focus mode.

So here we were busy recording with the background blurred out depending on your settings and how much blur you want, as well as your surroundings does affect the way the live focus mode works, but it's pretty good overall, and then you also still have your super slo-mo as well as just standard slo-mo, which is so much fun, and finally they've also added something called a or doodle. So this is a video mode where you can draw a little doodles all over your face, just as you see me doing here and then, when you actually talk to the camera, the doodles move with your face, it's pretty cool and want to check out, as you would imagine, with the device this big, the battery has got to be good, and it's got to be able to charge really quickly. So it has a four thousand three hundred mill amp hour battery and when you compare that to some other premium devices out there, it's got a much bigger battery, so you're getting some good bang for your buck. It also has the wireless cow share mode, which is awesome, and it is compatible with 45 watt charging, which is insane it kind of blows. My brain that is a massive plus in my books, and you can of course, still wireless charge so big thumbs up with a battery on to the software and the note 10 plus comes pre-installed with Android line pi, so it has everything that you would generally expect, but there are a cup of cool new additions.

For example, you now get screen recorder mode in the notification panel, which, oh, my goodness they should have done this ages ago. So I'm so happy to see this here, and on top of that, you can make notes, while you squeeze record and even show your face, while the screen rewards so very, very cool. In my opinion- and this is just a little example- that I took drawing and putting the selfie cam on while taking a screen recording and then, as for that power, lock Bixby button on the left-hand side, you can reroute it to any app on your device, which is awesome by holding down on the back of you'll, be able to change the settings, so you can reroute it to like I said any app. You choose. The edge panel menu is also still there and no big changes from what I can see, but you can, of course, still customize it and edit different settings to best suit your needs.

The S Pen also has a couple of epic features like magnification, for example, once on, you can literally just hover over the screen with the pin and, as you can see, it'll magnify whatever it is you're looking at. You can also change the magnification percentage. So if you wanted super, super big, you can also do that, and then you can also write on your calendar using the s-pen and doodle all over. It's just, as you see me doing here, I think this is a really cool setting and once your doodle or done whatever it is, you want to do on the calendar. You can literally save it, and it'll remain on your calendar, so you can go through different months.

Come back and all your notes will still be there and then finally, on to the biggest software change, is the better integration of Samsung decks. So you know longer need to have a docking station in order to access Samsung decks. You simply use a cable to connect your phone to your PC and just like that, Samsung Tech's works, and it's also Mac compatible I just love this, so the S Pen is still stored in the same place as previous note lines to get it out. You simply click down, as you saw, and it pops out it does have this click function on the back of the S Pen itself, I'm, not sure if that is for anything specific, but then there's also this button, which is used for a lot of things. So, of course, as you know, you can draw or doodle until your heart is content with the S Pen.

It comes with a native app called pin up where you can actually learn to draw and color in look at other artwork from other artists that use the s-pen. So it's fascinating, but by far the biggest addition to come to the s-pen is air motion. So not only can you use the button on the s-pen to do certain things, but you can actually wave the s-pen around like a wand and do a bunch of things. It's so cool. Another thing I really enjoy about the s-pen is taking notes, but then converting those notes into text.

So you simply just select, it says, extract text and just like that, it's copied, doodling or taking notes on screenshots is also super. Useful and I also just wanted to show you guys how easy it was to change the nib. You just take those little tweezers, pull it out and just like that, you can pop in another nib, and they also have different densities, which is quite interesting. So, whether you like a softer, feel or a harder feel you can just choose what number suits you best. So if I'm not mistaken, you do get two options when it comes to the SD card and SIM card slots, just make sure you know which one you're picking when purchasing your device, so you can either choose to have one SIM card and an SD card expandable up to one terabyte, or you can get rid of the expandable SD card and replace that with a secondary sim.

So again, just make sure you know which one you're purchasing when getting your note, 10, plus and then on board. We have 512 gigs of internal storage and 12 gigs of ram, which is massive so overall I love that there's those two options and that you can also expand to one terabyte of storage. Some other quick and note 10 plus features include its ip68 water resistance rating. So it's basically waterproof up to 1.5 meters. Another new feature is 3d scanning and I tried this out in the proper conditions here, I'm just demonstrating it.

But, oh, my goodness, this feature was awful, and it did not work whatsoever. Apparently it has to do with the reflection of an object, how dark it is and plushy toys work the best, but I didn't have one, and I just did not like this feature at all, but I appreciate what they're trying to do another feature and one that is slightly better, is called quick measure, and here you just scan around the room with your camera, and then you can actually measure out objects. It is surprisingly accurate and there's a perfect job and then on to one of my favorite security features and the fingerprint unlock I just popped in my Sun fingerprint. It didn't take too long, and it unlocked perfectly every single time. Furthermore, it does take some getting used to finding the sensor, but other than that fantastic and then on to what I would dub the worst feature or like I said in the beginning and lack thereof, is there are no olds Jack I really feel like this would have been the ultimate flagship device had they included the olds Jack I, think it's possibly due to the bath resize and also s-pen that they had to remove it I'm, not to sure, but at the end of the day, I am glad that there's at least a USB connection already on the earphones that come with a device.
