Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 in 2019. By RALPHY REVIEWS

Just waiting for this thing to show up man waiting for his thing show up, and I went out today plays like the last day that the stores are gonna, be open. They're, probably gonna, be closed tomorrow, because the things hitting the mall, but so I went to this pawn shop and I cocked me this right here, I copped it man, I, got I had to get it. I had to get it because I own this camera well last year, I sold it last year actually, and I'll use it in Africa, when I was in Africa to do something I filmed it because I wanted to travel. I did have my DSLR, but there's some place that I work where I was I, just gotta feel safe having a DSLR around there. So I took this.

This is what's the next best thing. The good thing about this is that it is a point-and-shoot. You know — what a little bit like a point-and-shoot to the second power, but then it also has this tors headphone jack, where I can connect audio, so I used to carry my rode. Video mic me and I used to connect it on there and I had great audio all the time, and I was great as footage man and then, of course, I would take it out and then put the SD card and my computer or my phone and edit on my phone, because I was really trying to be very mobile and on the go, but let's go over some specs. So it's a 16 megapixel one, but one 2.3 BSI CMOS sensor, F 2.8, it's at 5.9, 23 to 43 millimeters, equivalent lens 21 times zoom you can see over here. Has a quad-core 1.6, gigahertz, Samsung, Enos, 441, —, processor, I, know you're, saying that's old, and it is. This was 2004 2014.

That was good for it, especially for a camera. That's not supposed to have that, but it had it. Ok, 2 gigabytes of RAM um I mean again 2014 I know your phone currently right now. You're, probably the low budget phone has 4 gigabytes of RAM. You don't mean, like the mid grade phone you know, has 4 gigabytes phones nowadays, coming with six eight, you know more than that: Android 4.3 jelly bean, the old androids' system. Let's turn it on well, it turns on finish this old Android system.

I, get explain that, though. I have a four point. Eight inches 720p touch screen: LCD 16 by 9 aspect ratio, 1080 issues, 1080 1080 by 30, video 1080p, but 30 frames, a second video, so it's 1080p within 30 frames. A second, that's the max. That's full HD! Ok, it's foolish to yeah! You don't really need it! 4K um! If you want a 4k, don't get this camera bottom line, headphone jack.

Of course, I've explained TRS external microphones, micros card slot on the bottom, and I've got a 64, gig micro SD card down here right here on the bottom. This is the HDMI port for you to. If you want to connect the HDMI to the TV, has a little opening. You don't get to open the whole thing, but it has a little. You know saying a little opening right here, so you do it, and you charge it with a micro SD, the old-school Android charger.

This is the predecessor to the galaxy cam 1. Obviously that was all it was a little different, never owned that one. So I can't really talk about it. I don't even know the specs of that. What's be honest with you, I just know this one I bought this one I bought this same camera 2 years ago, took it to Africa when I went to work over there and then, and I just had a great time in Africa with it.

You know- and it was very inconspicuous, fits in my pocket all that good stuff, but it still gives me that not high-end DSLR but let's say let's say a t5 I to eat for I. You know the t3 eyes with the t3 t4 t5, maybe with the kit lens, you know, which is still good quality. You know it is your message. Basically, let's be honest, you know. That's still great quality is know.

Many YouTubers great YouTubers are still using that. So the camera basically has. Let me delete that the camera are suddenly took a picture, but anyway it doesn't matter. So let's go ahead and look at the things at the some features of it. Jame.

So you've got the flash right here. So once you take the flash down on flash, it's activated, and it's got the'm, not a photographer, but you get on like indirect flash get indirectly you have to hold it back. You know to not hit them with that straight beam of light and then ruin your photo. But you know still it's nice that it's there I don't use it personally, but whatever you got a timer, that's old-school! You know, I mean timer it's. Why is it taking a picture? Oh okay, I hit that I hit the button back.

So that's fine and four three, two one take a picture in my hand: BAM. Okay, you are happy all right. You got the timer and folders I've got um. Oh man, I keep hitting Oh Lord, okay, take it out of their timer off and oh okay. I got the voice activation on it.

That's why you got here. That's four! Folders, you could create different albums. Of course, it's all going to my SD card. I got one for video and the deal was just wanted to be culled with camera, and then you've got here when this is on when you're, when the viewfinder is on this, this is going to be out. Your lens is gonna, be extended because it's thinking, okay, these guys ready to shoot.

If you put the view, if you go Home screen or whatever just view photos of the camera, though the lens goes back in to its safety hole, so its safe space, so, so over here's four voice commands I, just turned them off and turn them on. I use, voice, commands, I, say, record video and all that stuff and- and it listens to me- and it starts recording video change to view. If a change to beauty fades, you could make a change to whatever mode you want to take pictures after ten seconds timer go to gallery, you know there goes see, I must have said timer or something I remember eyes. Must've said something. So let me turn that off for now and then, of course, sharing you could share the shot you go.

Buddy photo share, I, don't know what that I, don't know what that is. Remote viewfinder is like what I'm get I'm, never used any of that I. Guess that's! If you're using like your phone to use it as a viewfinder like you got this see, I just thought about that. Damn I, don't even think about this. But if you want to use this to vlog I know the screen does not flip up, so you could use your phone as a viewfinder, and you're looking know at your shot through the viewfinder of using the phone as a viewfinder.

You know what I'm saying so. That's a good thing! I, don't even realize that damn C 2019, it's things still relevant, I'm telling you. That means that's in my opinion, you don't have to get it so Eugen on its to the 14, not way if you wanna, whatever that's on you, so you've got Too smartphone expert. These are all for portraits selfie alarm the selfie alarm for those of you who want to take selfies with this and are worried about not you know not having a flip up screen, or you're, not using your phone as a viewfinder selfie alarm. What it does is you turn this camera around. You put it on selfie alarm and this there a little box is going to appear, and it'll know it'll detect the face in the picture, which would be your you. You know you extend your arm out or whatever it'll detect your face, and it'll take the picture. Continuous shot is exactly what it is takes.

Continuous shots the best face is the same thing. Only the best face will take multiple pictures of the same thing, so this one is if you're moving right, this one is you're standing still and will keep taking pictures, and maybe the lighting changes. Maybe the Sun moves or something in a couple of seconds or whatever the case may be, and it just gives you different uh different pictures, someone is a little. Maybe you want to be a little dark a little lighter this one that just has different color brackets and this is kit shot kiss shot. You know, kids move a lot, so they'll give you that case shot.

You know so yeah you know. So you could take a picture. You kid! Ah, this one right here: landscape, I'm, gonna, say you know. Obviously you know that is dawn when the Sun is setting it uh it adjusts automatically for that type of lighting snow, because it's very bright when you're taking pictures of snow actually could this the glare any light that hits the snow is going to retract close up an indoor, so you got the food pictures very colorful and vibrant party indoors. Like this, you know you see the thumbnail, here's a kid blowing out a birthday cake.

So if you want to take a picture Burke a birthday cake, whatever macro pictures, of course you take pieces of insects and stuff like that action freeze, you got any. You know like you're in a baseball game or whatever, and you want to take that that action. You know that picture when he's hitting the ball or whatever rich tone, um I just put on rich tone by accident mouthful. Let me go back. Where are we rich tone just richer tone, exactly what it is? If you want to do that night pic, you know where you see the light streaks or the cars passing by and the silhouette mode. You know, but I, normally, if I'm vlogging or whatever have it on auto. That's just me.

I could do expert I could, but that's if I'm I'll only do expert like when I was doing when I was filming the animals in Africa on my day off that I did I put it on expert. My modes are the ones that you save over here, and you can edit them and change them around. You know I mean it along. So you take you to this screen, and you can change them around and all that you can move this one here with that one there that one there whatever to have it's like a quick. It's like a shortcut for the way you shoot and then, of course, here on expert mode.

You have shutter priority manual. Is full manual aperture priority, that's just again the shortcuts for your settings. You know what I mean. Basically, that's what it is now when you go back to the home screen like I said you see that your lens goes back in when you open the camera. Lens comes back out.

So go back to the home screen and one cool thing about this phone. Is it's basically an Android phone? You can't make phone calls, but you can't download skype on it and talk on does have a microphone, but remember it has this headphone tors jack, so with the headphone tors Jack, you attach your headset to it. You know you're the one that came with your phone, and you're. Basically talking on the phone. You know you have to be connected to a Wi-Fi of course, but you know it's crazy right.

I have my Instagram, that's the only thing I have on it. Because internal only has 8 gigabytes of RAM I have a 64 gig SD card. It is micro SD card in here, but I don't really want to swamp. You know this thing with apps I. Basically just have Instagram because I'm says: I'll.

Take a picture, a really nice picture with this lens, because its beautiful pictures, BAM and I just want to upload it. Now, in my old camera, the same one I had before the other one I had I used to have snap scene on it. I might put that on there, because Snap seed I'd do some tweaks on it. You now and then I put it up on Instagram. You know good Instagram, basically for photos, you don't mean, but I mean you can have other apps on it, but I just wouldn't personally: I wouldn't swamp I, wouldn't I wouldn't fill this thing up with apps, because then you're going to slow down the camera and its primary purpose is to take pictures and videos.

Furthermore, you know what I'm saying pictures primarily and then videos secondary and um I used to edit on this — I had an editor on it. Like I said: I had a lot of stuff, he hasn't damn calculated I, don't know why, but I mean it's amazing. There was the Play Store and there are apps you can download just for this or whatever, and you could go on the internet on this he'll, I think I had Netflix I, don't remember it last time, I think I had Netflix, but this is a good ask. Cameron 2019. This thing is still good, but do not.

Let me warn you right now do not do not do not pay. These are eBay prices that some of these dudes sell them for. I saw this same camera force, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 up to $1,200 ridiculous. Normally, not the normal sale would be 200.180 160 I got it for 180 the first time this time, I paid an extra $20, but there it's still relevant secret Yoda. It holds its value.

You know, I mean like that's your Tacoma's and stuff. They hold their value. These things hold their value. Apparently it is it's. It's Samson.

It's a very well-built device man, it's very well-built it has this leather. Looking thing like the note for my more in the note, 4 came with the fact that was like leather looking and I bought this case. For if it's a little feminine but still has a little purse thing, but the case has again the quarter inch or 3/4 whatever diameter it is for the tripod. So I can hook it. I can put it onto a lot of things and still keep it safe.

I can drop it on this. Guy I should already drop that guy got it today, and I already dropped, but it was in the case nothing happened. The case. Didn't even get dirty, and I'm over here waiting for a hurricane I should have got dirty with that dropped it in the damn grass, but still good. Camera is still relevant in 2019, and I would recommend it if you want, and if you want the flip up screen.

If the flip up screen is more important than this, then a do you. But to me this audio is more important than the flip up screen, because I'm always in I'm, always I'm, always um. You know my shot, I'm, always centered in the shot I'm, always where I want to be in the shot. Just because of this lens I don't know. I just I mean this.
