Samsung Galaxy A9 2016 [Unboxing] By Knight Tech

What's, good everybody, it's a boy night tech reviews, and today I'm coming to you with the unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy, a nine 2006. Now, if you would like to purchase this device, I'll leave a link in the description below I've got this from amazon. com for $400 plus tax and shipping. So let's get into this unboxing. So what we're greeted with is an all white box with gray lettering that says: Samsung Galaxy, a nine with a six that six stands for 2016, because I believe there was a 2015 version, nothing around the box. A couple of you know it is in Asian, but as you can see, it's a 32 gigabyte version.

This is just telling you that there's a 13 megapixel camera, that's fingerprint scanner and as fast charging, so opening the box. Let's see if I have something, maybe I have something that actually I did open one part, but okay, we'll just open it. This way. So, as you can see, we're greeted with the galaxy a 9 we'll take that out the box food feels good in here and tell you that right now has some heft to it. We're moving that we're greeted with a semi Jackson tool.

Manuals are an Asian I'm, not gonna, bother, even if they weren't English I still wouldn't read them. You have your USB microUSB I can find the thing microUSB to regular USB type. A have your you know: power brick is a fast charge. It is fast charging. As you can see, adaptive fast charging Samsung got your Samsung headphones, let's see which one these are the good ones, they're, not the ones that you get with.

Whatever so we'll throw everything back in the box because. We really don't need that stuff right now, we'll leave the sim ejection tool out. So I can pop my sim card in their move that to the side so bringing this back. We have the galaxy, 9 guys this phone. Let me take this off so running down.

The sex will power it on either. Like I said, I ready to take this out the box just to make sure everything was there, so I did go pass. You know the setup I read: I didn't set it up really Samsung Galaxy 89, six powered by Android. This was running android 5.1.1, there's supposedly an update marshmallow, but we're just going to take a quick hardware tour. So, as you can see, we have a six inch 1080p AMOLED display.

We have our sensors, and we have our 8 megapixel camera at the top. We have our home button of our home button. Furthermore, we have our back button and our recent apps capacitive buttons blanket in the home button at the bottom. Furthermore, we have USB microUSB, our one speaker, our mic and our 3.5 millimeter headphone jack I wish Samsung would do dual speakers even if they're on the bottom, whatever at least we have dual speakers, that's microUSB. Moving on to the left side, we have our volume rockers, which are sitting pretty high on this device.

So you don't have long fingers or a big hand you're going to be reaching because they're all the way up there I, don't know why they didn't play some like right here, but hey whatever moving on to the right hand, side. We have our power button, and we have our sim / SD card slot, essentially pop that open, so I can get my sim card in there after I finished, giving me the hardware tour okay. So, as you can see, it is dual SD card / SIM card, so moving up to the top, as you can see, we have our mic and another SIM card slot. This is dual SIM, so just pulling that out, as you can see, deals them. That am I, believe yes, it is NATO SIM cards, so we'll just leave those though moving around to the back.

We have our 13 megapixel camera with flash Samsung logo, some information at the bottom in this glass panel, which feels so good and smooth. It is Gorilla Glass, Gorilla, Glass, Gorilla, Glass 4. It's also Gorilla Glass 4 on the front, so I'm just going to pop my sim card in let's see I'm going to leave sim slot to empty I'm, actually gonna pop my SIM card into sim slot. One I do have 128 gig SD card that I'm gonna pop in here. This can hold up to 256 gigs.

This has a Snapdragon 650 ?, which is supposed to be really, really good. I've watched a couple of videos, and it was better than the note it performed better than in note 4, and that has a Snapdragon 805, so we'll see we'll put it through its paces. It also has liked I said it has a Snapdragon 650 -. It has three gigabytes of RAM. Furthermore, it has 32 gigabytes of on-board storage, expandable up to 256 gigs.

Ok, we got something activity popping up there: yeah 256 gigs as Arena 510 GPU. The best part about this phone is, has a 4000. Yes, people, a four thousand William battery now I'm removable, but it's still 4000 Williams, now I'm, just waiting to see what this phone is going to do basically because this sounds that sounds like beast mode right. There now this is going to be replacing I'm telling you right now. This is probably going to be replacing my Sony Xperia x8 ultra the only and I can say that, because this device is only $100 more than the ultra is now.

When the Other first came out, it was 379 so with us, and this has Bluetooth 4.1. It has Wi-Fi 802 a B G in AMC, its dual-band Wi-Fi direct hotspot and all that good stuff. It has an FM radio, quick charge 2.0. So that's a good thing. I told you that has a fingerprint scanner.

Yeah, man a lot of phone companies- man, don't there's absolutely I'm. Looking at this right now and from what I can tell this has absolutely besides. Besides the Microsoft apps, this has absolutely no type of bloatware at all. There's no blow wear on this device. Hmm, that one folder! Okay, it's just about saying: okay, so that's just a name in Asian but, like I, said it's running, android 5.1.1, lollipop I can show you that so right now, I am down in my basement. So we're going to see what that's about, but it looks like I'm getting edge down here.

I haven't changed any of the settings or anything like that. So we'll tap that and, as you can see, we have marshmallow going on right now: I'm, not nope, I'm, not perfect. At this game, I actually kind of hate, if I think the highest I've ever got is like ?, okay, we're not gonna. Do it right now, um yeah! So, like I said this came out earlier in the year, I think around like January or February. So this only has the March Android security patch, but I'm sure, once I upgrade the marshmallow I'll go up to the latest, whatever that is, but so far the device feels good I actually like it.

I have my ultra-right here, and I love the way the ultra is.2D glass goes like kind of over the frame. This 2d glass goes into the frame basically, but as you can see, I compare these two next to each other. So it's about the same size as the ultra. Well, no, it's a little too smudge. It's shorter it's wider than ultra, because the ultra basically has bezel is a bezel s display the bezel is that's another thing.

The bezels on this on the sides. Aren't that bad, so I. Thank you Samsung for not putting some crazy bezels here goes the axon 7 next to it and so far I'm liking. How the screen is looking. You Samsung makes some awesome.

AMOLED displays man and that's look at crank. It all the way up. That's a nice looking display guys, so I'm going to set this up. Let's see, I wonder I want you guys. I want to know that this can get 4G.

Let's say it past the Settings mobile network. Let's see it's on 4G automatic, hmm access points. Okay! So that's why I, let's, let's actually edit the access point, so okay, yeah nice, big! We have a nice big keyboard. Okay looks like everything else is good to go. Want to save that we'll, head back out will actually do a restart.

Let's see- and this will also tell us how long it takes for it to restart but so far I'm liking. This device I think it's actually going to replace my Xperia right now. Just use my spirit to record my YouTube videos, but if the camera is good enough, good enough on this I might use this plus I'm getting them in the process of getting a new camera. Anyway, from my recording, like I, said, I pay for a lot of this stuff myself. So none of this stuff is given to me.

I just did the whole lighting. Slash I have a backdrop now you'll see in my future videos when you actually see my face on cam, so that was a quick boot up really got pretty quick. Let's see still says edge. Maybe I did something wrong. Let's see it could be that I'm in the basement, SIM card manager, okay, so lets you change what you're guessing what your SIM card looks like whatever dad the services- yes T-Mobile, so as of right now, I'm just getting edge, so I'll have to look into that.
