Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) "BLACK" - UNBOXING!!!

What's up guys it's time to kick off the new mid-ranch era for same thing, starting with these Samsung Galaxy a7 2018. This right here is the first ever triple camera. Samsung phone, and soon we're gonna, see this triple chemist setup on the galaxy s 10 as well, so very simple, Samsung packaging. We have here with this phone, just the a7 logo up front. Let's quickly get the plastic here and let's just open this one easily, alright lifting the box and as you can see, we have the Samsung Galaxy a7 2018, sitting up front. You can see the main specs written up front, Super, AMOLED, display infinity and, of course, triple cameras right here we have the phone on the table.

Let me just lift it off here from this beautiful box: let's check the accessories first. So, as always, we have our Quick Start Guide then comes the silicone case. As you can see, it has this perfect cutout for those triple cameras. We have normal Samsung headphones. This is a one that the shape with their cheap budget phones, so a little disappointed, and then this wow I cannot believe that standing still shipping, this phone with a USB, 2.0, cable and, of course, what's worse than that, is that this charger is not even fast charger, so right off the bat, no fast charging for the ASM and 2018. Let's see if rest what the specs can make up for it.

So let's just remove this plastic from the phone real, quick and, as you can see, damn okay. This is a one premium shiny, looking phone, even though it is a plastic back, but it feels premium. It actually feels nice and hand I'm not gonna lie so the design language of the galaxy a7 2018 is very similar to the Galaxy n9 that unreviewed a couple of weeks ago. The vertical camera design is here, but this one is obviously a little different because it has this fingerprint scanner inside power button. So it's right here, you put your thumb.

You unlock your phone boom. This is the second phone from Samsung to have a fingerprint scanner embedded inside. If the power button first, one was the Samsung Galaxy, s6 plus, so I'm just going to go ahead and run through this setup. Okay, guys I'm done with the setup and let's just quickly showcase the speed of the fingerprint scanner. So, as you can see, it does work when the is log, so you just have to place your finger and I mean your thumb, and it's gonna work, whereas in the galaxy just six I think we have to like press it, but this one is working fine by just putting the thumb, but actually feels faster if you press the power key, so looking at the phone's UI, as you can see, it's just a typical Samsung experience, UI that we have seen countless times it is based on Android 8.1 or you. The software experienced throughout the galaxy phones is very, very similar.

So now taking a look at the display. This is a six inch.1080P Super AMOLED display looking really sharp and has a nice brightness. Now this is an infinity budget display. So with Infinity budget displays. Samsung has this top and bottom chin.

So it's definitely not quite as good as the Galaxy S8 or s9 families. So that's that power and volume buttons can be seen on the right and there's absolutely nothing on the left except the SIM tray, which is at the top left area. Now. Obviously, the main highlight of this phone is those triple cameras on the backs. So we have a 24 megapixel main camera sensor that is coming at F of 1.7 aperture. We have the eight members of sensor as well, which is coming at F 2.4, and that is the ultra-wide one. We also get a 5 megapixel a depth sensor for those live focus photos I'm, taking a look at the camera on this thing, it's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S phone, similar camera UI, but there are a couple of new things, such as the scene optimizer that uses the AI functions to optimize according to the scene.

So if I quickly focus here on the light background, it's going to detect that, as you can see, so it's gonna work outside in different scenarios. You're taking food pictures or picture of sky, it will detect that and enhance the scene. We have our live focus mode as well, and then a beauty mode as well as a pro camera mode. So main thing you will see different here is with the auto mode. When you see this down here so since it has an ultra-wide camera sensor, you can quickly go to that mode by pressing here and boom.

It goes ultra-wide, so you can take some really nice. Ultra-wide pictures I've been taking some photos in the studio it took some outdoors well mainly in the night and assistance coming at F 1.7 aperture. To sharpen is actually pretty decent with this a camera result. So, overall, this is a feature packed camera, but still it cannot shoot videos at 4k, because the processor inside is the Enos 7 8 8 v CPU. So this is a little handicapped in that aspect, but photos wise.

It actually can provide you some good photos, thanks to it's a three camera sensor. Now the battery on the Samsung Galaxy S7, 28 Dean, is coming at 3000 mAh, and it is non-removable so yeah. This is all with the Samsung Galaxy a7 2018, triple cameras are interesting, I would say with the a9. Of course, you get four cameras. That is a little different beast.

Hopefully that will be here in the studio soon, but I will be testing this out and I might actually do a camera comparison with the note 9, if you guys, are interested in that, but it is a decent phone, and it is a good start. Some things like not having to fast charging and obviously having the old USB 2.0 port sucks I, don't know why Samsung doesn't give that full value to the customers doing a great job with this phone, but for some reason they went with that backward direction so other than that. I still think it's a decent phone might actually do some speed tests as well. If you guys are interested and yeah. Thank you.

So much for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next one peace out.
