Pixel 4 XL (Clearly White) - Unboxing and Impressions By Tomas Villegas

Welcome to my unboxing and first impressions of the pixel for Excel to housekeeping items before we get into this unboxing experience is that I want to take a moment to express my sincerest thank you to each one of you out there that support and subscribe watch like comment. All of that stuff on my channel provides me with these opportunities that Google recognizes and sends me these things to share with you. Don't want to take up too much time with this, but I am sincerely thankful for each one of you. The next thing really hit home as I. Looked at this message, that's included in the Google experience of the unboxing of this phone. They provided me with this message, and I'd like to take a moment to read this to you, because I work in Career and Technical Education hi Tomas we're excited to introduce you to the latest from Google.

It also means partnering with organizations to help people grow their skills, careers or businesses. To that end, along with this gift to you, we're also supporting local Boys and Girls Clubs, with tools and training to help teens learn valuable job skills for today and tomorrow. It's all part of help made the Google way so not to belabor.

This point I just wanted to highlight this message: I think it's very cool that they are doing things to help people grow their job skills, to make them more marketable and support their families and have better lives, and just all that type of stuff I've work in this field as a full-time job, and I've seen it actually work for people to better their skill set and get the knowledge, skills and abilities that they need to provide for their families in a better way. So now it's time for me to get off my soapbox and get into what it is you're actually here for, so I haven't opened this, yet I wanted to capture this first impressions live on camera. So let's get to that I mean I am going to edit, this and whatnot, but this box is really cool. The phone itself is sitting here, so we'll move that out of the way- and it looks like there- some additional accessories down here on the bottom. I've never had an unboxing experience.

It's similar to this one there on this side of the box, there's a little message about the gift that's being provided to me and on this side, it's more about the community and growing with Google I, really like this message and I like what they're doing for kind of investing in our future without of the way, let's go ahead and get into this accessory box upon further inspection. This is a case, so, let's crack into it and see what this is all about. They've got these nice little pull tabs on their packaging and there's this super nice case that was also included in the package or the gift from Google. This case is really nice. It's a fabric device has an orange G there and an orange accent power button there, and you can see the volume rocker is kind of embedded into the case and then flipping into the inside of it.

You can see. There's this nice microfiber material, let's put this off to the side and get into the actual device. So I don't know if this is actual commercial packaging flipping it over on this side, there's also the pull tabs, so we'll get into the box and experience this in boxing experience live experience. This unboxing experience, like that's, really great anyways pulling the top off. You can see it's the Panda version.

We won't open the device just yet, so we'll put this over here, and we'll see what comes in the box looks like it's warranty, documentation and regulatory information, as well as a sim ejection tool. That's really cool. Let's take a look at the actual charging. Brick, let's push it out. It is USB-C, which is nice, and it is also quick charge enabled because it outputs three amps and that will give you quite a bit of charge on your device rather quickly, and then you get the actual USB c2 USB cable.

They were also nice enough to include a USB-C to USB adapter. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the Pixel 4 XL. Let's get into it. My initial thoughts on this device is that it is absolutely beautiful. It feels great in the hand like this Matt backing glass backing here just feels great, and it doesn't pick up any fingerprints.

The frame around this device feels great, like they did a good job in building this thing, it looks a lot different on camera than what you would expect that has a substantial amount of girth to it. That is not too much, but just enough to kind of give you reaffirmation that this thing is a premium device. I really, really like how this thing feels in the hand. Let's hit the hard numbers with the pixel for TO and talk a little about specifications in both the pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL Qualcomm snapdragon 855. They also include an Arena 640 Google built in the titanium security module and a pixel neural core that allows you to face unlock this device.

There's a 3700 William hour battery powering the Pixel 4 XL. It is QI certified for wireless charging, and that is why they have this glass back on it. With the memory. There are six gigabytes. These devices come in either 64 gigabyte or 128, gigabytes of on-board storage, with no expandability via micros card, or anything like that.

This is the 128 gigabyte variant, and you can say as much as you want about the storage capacity, but how much of it is usable so upon first boot, up of this device you can see there is about 11% used from the system. So with that being said, you can see here that about 14 and a half gigabytes is being used on the device, and that will probably be the same with the 64 gigabyte variant. The pixel for Excel has a 6.3 inch, HD flexible, o LED display that measures 537 PPI on it, and it looks absolutely awesome. Google also included their smooth display technology that allows it to boost up to 90 Hertz refresh rate. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is going to add extra rigidity, ooh its resistance towards drops.

But again, if you put this up against concrete, concrete wins against glass, every time doesn't matter how strong it is the physical dimensions on this thing, the pixel for Excel, is pretty large and weighs in at a hundred and ninety-three grams versus the hundred and sixty-two grams. That you'll experience on the pixel for both the pixel four and the Pixel 4 XL share the same dual camera set up. One is a telephoto 16, megapixels f/2 point 4 aperture shooters. That has a 52 degree field of view. The other is a 12 point: 2 megapixels F 1.7, that has the 77 degree field of view, which is quite a bit wider. So to close, this video out I do want to talk a little about what ports and stuff are available on.

This device there's dual stereo speakers on the bottom, with the USB type-c port power button that is accented in orange, which is really nice volume, rocker, that's kind of hidden towards the middle of the device, because you find yourself touching that more than the power button making adjustments to it on the top of the device, you'll find a microphone and nothing else on the opposite side of the device. You'll find a SIM tray that is compatible with NATO Sims and nothing more, so that's pretty much it with the physical attributes of this device. One final note before I close this video out is that this device does come in clearly white. Just black and So Orange I am an absolute fan of the white I thought. I would like the black, but from videos that I've seen on it online.

It is glossy and it is a fingerprint magnet. I would definitely recommend that you go with this or they orange because of this matte back clasp. It doesn't pick up any fingerprints and feels absolutely amazing in the hand before I close I must disclose. Google was kind enough to send the Pixel 4 XL out to me for testing and review that will definitely be on the channel within the next month or so.
