Samsung Galaxy A6 2018 vs J6 2018 - Speed Test!

Hey guys so just wants to do a very quick comparison here between the new galaxy a6 2018 and the j6 2018, very similar phones in terms of the price the build, but there are some differences to be aware of here if you're looking at buying one of these, which we can run it through in this video. We also look at the performance of both handsets see if they are similar here yeah. So, let's just stop more at the same time, so first things first in terms of the display I, think you're getting the same 5.6 inch display on both of them both coming with seven twenty by fourteen eighty pixels, so you'll notice that the actual displays look very similar this year, you'll see the j6 actually boots it on a little faster there, which is quite nice as well, both coming with Super AMOLED displays, so you're going to notice that they both have the same kind of viewing angles. You can see here. You know in terms of the quality there isn't really that much to distinguish the a and the J series here. So maybe Samsung's kind of you know kind of mixing the two lines together too much both coming with four gigs around both come with 3000 mAh battery.

You do get a slightly better camera, though, on the series 16 megapixel versus 13 megapixels, which is 1.7 aperture versus the 1.9 aperture on the j6. So that's something to consider if you do like taking photos, so I will look at the performance then so both of them fully up-to-date, and we can just open up a few basic apps. So in terms of the process, sir, just want to let you know that they are both coming with XE know: seven eight, seventy octets! So not that much difference, though really, so you know, I'm not expecting there to be any difference here really between the two, and if there is difference, then that will be hard to explain. Let's just try it one again, whoops just come out of it again. Hand-Eye coordination is not very good tonight, yeah must be the heat, so yes allow pop up after pop pop pop up after pop up.

While how annoying is this app? We got there in the end. I still think the jail loaded it a little faster there again, you see JE seems to be that little, snappier loading up stuff. Why is that? That does not make any sense, because the J series is supposed to be slightly below the eighth series, and they're running exactly the same hardware. I am very baffled here, so you can see in terms of the camera app. There are some differences in terms of the UI, and I'm guessing that will lend to slightly different like feature set here.

So you can see you get access to things. Those like the J actually has a more up-to-date kind of camera. App. If you ask me compared to the series well, you do get obviously quite a lot of options on the J for saying it is like more of a budget phone here, as you can see. So if we just go into the settings on both of them, so video size quite the same their megapixels, you can see that's why the difference lies.

I, think it's a very similar overall, so I will look at the Play Store yeah I'm. Seeing the J series really kick the eighth series backside here, which I wasn't expecting you know one of the differences. Do we have same blue 24.2? We have microUSB old-style charging on both of them very inexplicable for the a-series there, because you do have the new styling, the more expensive a series handsets. You do get more glass kind of aluminum design on the even though the design on the J looks premium, it's actually made of plastic. So that's something to consider.

You do get different, colors I! Think as well as you get black gold, blue and lavender with the a and the J just comes in black gold or blue. So in some games here, I think the J is loading a little faster, although I'm not really concentrating too much just see the front-facing camera 30 may pixel on the sorry, no 8 megapixel on the J and the selfie on the is 16 megapixels. That's an improvement. You know if you do like yourself, is a, so he's going to give you a little better there, but in terms of the speed you know, I'm going to have to give it to the J. For some strange reason.

Maybe it's an optimization issue. So look at the Wi-Fi start with the fact you have to give these some helper thing because or in fact, actually I think I know which one is going to win, because this one supports 5g. But this one doesn't that's another big differentiator here, so you know something I think we should see on the J series, given that they are over 200 euro Nadia. So me give you that so both support dual sim for those you want to use multiple sims if you can get dual sim models on both of them, both of them coming with Gorilla Glass protection, although it is unspecified what's a Gorilla. Glass is actually used here, probably three or four, and you do get a fingerprint scanner on both of them, but they're both on the back and look a bit different I.

Think I, like the J's a little more, it's a little less like conspicuous, so you know you can hit it most time and while it's micros expandable it T on both of them. I. Think here is that correct looks like it. Yes, after 256 gigs, so you can see this is where the really pulls ahead in terms of the Wi-Fi. You know very weird how we don't have the fire Q support on the J series, so we're just round off with a quick multitasking test being both of them coming with, as I said, four gigs of now three gigs of ram.

Actually these are I think, so you can get a thing. Four. Gigs of ram, but you know I like to make every penny count, and you will get some reloading. It seems on both for them. Although the J seems to recover a little, snappier I think yeah.

It's quite close. That I mean it's not hugely different here. I think both of them could do with that extra gig of ram. Maybe I should have stood on top for it. In fact, let me just double-check the phone.

How much RAM did we get yeah? We did get three gigs of ram, so this is that 32 gigs internal storage as well. So let's try, the games, so I think did I just yeah. That was an advert, so both of them went into that. Let's try something else here: trade island, so very late in the game. You're not gonna, be able to hold money in memory with the three gram models: let's try, one more I am blade yeah.

Well, though, I think this one on the left. They did actually hold that memory, so props where props are due, but so in terms of the actual performance day-to-day. You know this really I. Think you can see the J is just up there now with the there's, not a huge difference really in that respect. But if you are looking for the slightly better selfie cam rear, cam Wi-Fi for more premium kind of body design here, then you know you are going to feel on foot for the a little, but I do think that a could have come with a bit better in terms of the spec really to differentiate it.

These seem to be very similar, considering the price, so I will, we do some other videos with the a6, so do stay tuned. For that hope you enjoyed the video found it helpful, and I'll see the next one Cheers.
