iPhone XR UNBOXING and REVIEW

Guess who's back with another early unboxing, alright guys so here it is iPhone 10 are in its box. I was there at the keynote when Apple announced this new device in California, and it got a lot of interest from a lot of people, and I've been inundated with questions. Since I've got back asking me what I think about this device and whether it's worth purchasing this device, because it is the cheaper iPhone that was announced, and it comes in a range of really, really cool colors as well, so it has a lot of people interested in it now. This particular model in this box, as you can see, is a white variation, and this is also a 256 gigabyte in terms of memory. If you want to check out a video that shows all the colors and stay tuned to the end of the video I'll post, one of the links- and you can check that out right now- it's a pretty standard affair. We have iPhone down one side.

We have the Apple logo down the other, and I'm assuming each one of the different colors will come with a different wallpaper on the front, because that's something that we've seen Apple do: let's just pull back the lid and show you the device itself, so we get as usual, designed by Apple in California. This is gonna. Have all the information we've got an English, French and Arabic information guides some warranty information, sim ejector tool and then the standard Apple stickers as well, and then the actual device itself take a look at this OMG wow. That is a beautiful, beautiful white. It's got some weight to it in the hand.

Okay, let's put this to one side on we'll, take a closer look in a moment. What else do we get inside the box? Well, we get the standard, ear, pods, there's still no connector jack USB to lightning cable and then because we're in this part of the world a three-pin plug as well. Let's take a closer look at the device itself. Now put those of you that are ASMR fans enjoy this hi guys. Let me take you for a closer look around the device, so this is it in beautiful, beautiful white.

So you've got this glass back panel, and then you've got this aluminum band, which is an anodized aluminum band. That goes all the way through the middle of the device. You can notice that actually the band color will complement the color that you go for. So if you go for, let's say blue, then you're going to get a blueish anodized aluminum band around the middle, which is pretty cool there. Now one of the things I noticed is you've got a power weight button on the side over here.

But if you go all the way down, that's where you find the SIM tray now this is slightly different with the iPhone tennis and tennis max there's a power button there and right below the power button. You have the SIM tray, but on this it's slightly further down. I wonder why Happen have done that this is essentially a dual SIM setup, so once that's activated wherever you are in the world I think later on in the year that should be available. Another interesting thing to note is down at the bottom: you have this kind of uniform speaker grille, which is again different from the iPhone 10s and 10s max. It's probably because there is a small antenna band there at the bottom, I mean it's nothing major! It's just interesting, because Apple does pay a lot of attention to the hardware details now on the other side over here we've got the volume rocker, and then we've got to vibrate switch on/off and that's it now.

The turn off sits in between in terms of sizing between the iPhone 10s and the 10s backs. In my hand, this is what it looks like I think it has a nice sort of feel to it, and you'll notice that it's got a bit more width in the hand. Then the iPhone 10 asked us. The iPhone tennis is a 5.8 inch. The iPhone 10 R is at 6.1, and the iPhone tennis max is the largest at 6.5 inches. So some questions you guys have asked me: what are the similarity and the differences between the iPhone 10 are and the other devices at 10s and 10s max? Well, look all three of them shared the brand-new a12 Bionic chip.

They also share the fact that they are running the latest version of iOS 12, but the differences for me boil down to three number. One is hardware: now, when I talk about hardware I'm talking about the build of the iPhone 10 are and when you compare that with the 10s and 10s max, because the iPhone 10 R is built differently number one. It's built with that aluminum band as opposed to the steel band. You also have different displays now. This is an important difference, because the display on the iPhone 10 R is actually an LCD.

What Apple are calling a liquid Retina display and on the iPhone tennis, tennis max it is an OLED display now other differences sort of visual. If you compare them side-by-side and with a bit of time, you will notice the difference. I think the displays on the tennis and tennis max are better. There is a better color variation, it's just much more vibrant when you're looking at it, and it also has forced touch on the OLED displays, with the tennis and tennis max. Whereas we have haptic touch on the 10r now, what happened in touch is.

It means that it gives you similar experiences to force touch, but they are limited, so you will find them on the home screen. For example, if you want to touch to bring up the flash or to bring up the camera that is working on the iPhone 10 are using this haptic touch. The other thing is you'll notice. The limitations of the lack of force touch when it comes to wallpapers, because if you go into settings you go into wallpapers on the iPhone.10 are you're, only going to get dynamic and still you won't get live wallpapers and that's because live essentially works with forced touch. The second difference is down to that camera.

Now, on the 10s and 10s max, you have a dual camera setup, whereas on the iPhone 10 R, we have a single camera setup. You have a 12 megapixel wide-angle with an aperture of f-18, and you have a combination of again the eight or Barack the ISP, the neural engine that helps you take better photos overall. Now, one of the ways you're going to notice a difference when it comes to the camera is in portrait. The iPhone 10 R will allow you to take photo portraits in the same way that the iPhone, tennis and tennis Max allow you to do so, but there are some limitations and there are slightly different results. Let me show you one of the things that you'll notice on the camera is that it doesn't work with objects.

So if you want to take really lit both effects with objects, you're going to need the dual camera setup, but it does register humans and that's the way that the algorithm has been worked out for the 10r, and it does a perfect job at that there are. You know, various modes that you can access in portrait, except stage lights and mono, because that's really down to the use of the telephoto lens and the dual camera setup, but you can adjust the aperture. You can. Furthermore, you know change the background in terms of blurring it and that's all possible post-production on the iPhone 10 off I. Do like the way that the iPhone 10 are actually has an easier setup, because you have that 12 megapixel wide camera.

Furthermore, you don't require kind of moving around getting the perfect shots in portrait, as you do with the dual camera setup. So if that's something that you don't mind, I think the iPhone 10 R does actually produce different results when it comes to the portrait mode and I actually think the portrait mode on the 10r in some cases might be a little easier and slightly better than the iPhone 10s and 10s max at a point that I want to talk about is the price proposition. The iPhone 10 R is very interesting because, let's face it, there are cheaper smartphones out there, particularly Android smartphones, but if you're looking for an iPhone- and you want to use the latest version of iOS 12, then the iPhone 10 r does offer some considerations think about it. You're still getting a larger display than the iPhone 10 s, a 6.1 inch display you're still getting the choice of different colors you're, still getting a perfect camera. Yes, there are some limitations, but if those limits don't necessarily affect you and more importantly, price is an issue, then the iPhone 10 R is actually quite an attractive option to go with because look, let's face it a base model or iPhone 10 s is a gonna, be in this part of the world right about 4,000 or so theorems.

The base model, iPhone, 10 R, is run about 3100 Durhams and that's about 1,000, just over 1000 Durham difference, which equates so a couple of hundred dollars in other parts of the world and therefore the price proposition of the iPhone 10 R is seriously good. Actually, at the beginning of this video, this was gonna, be a first kind of impressions, hands-on early review with the iPhone 10 R I want to spend more time and focus more on this device and how it compares with the tennis and tennis max before I give you my full detail to review, but right now let me tell you that I have been seriously impressed with what the iPhone 10 R has to offer, and I think this is gonna appeal to a lot more people. Then some of us might think anyway guys, that's it for me for now in this video, if you enjoyed it, be sure to smash that, like button down below and if you knew around here and want to see more videos like this, then hit subscribe, and I'll see you next here on the channel I'm in Won.
