Hazel theory from Mr. phone, and today we bring you a phone, that's even better than one of our most favorite Samsung phones last year, and that is the Samsung Galaxy a 50s, and today we're going to unbox that phone first and also tell you a little about it. So without any further ado, let's jump into the video, of course. Before doing anything else, don't forget to subscribe to the Mr. phony channel and also hit the bell icon right next to it, so that you guys get notified when we put out a brand-new video. So now that we've unboxed the 50s, the first thing that strikes out to me is the design and the fact that it is different.
Now the difference is, of course, there are slightly parallel dashed lines on this, making almost a few triangles on this. So there's a small triangle here, a big triangle here and only the center part of it- has that shimmer that the a-50 also had and this belief it or not- is a purple variant, so that purple comes out through the frame. You'll see that purple coming out here, but at the back you can't look at these ones and just say that yes is a purple phone there's a lot of reflection is happening on it and to say the least. This is one of the unique smartphone designs that I've seen apart from that you get the power button in the same position. That's on the right.
You get a volume button on the top you've, no other buttons. On the left side, only the SIM tray on the bottom. You have a USB type-c port, flanked on either sides by a headphone jack and a single speaker on the top. You just have a noise cancellation microphone at the back. Apart from that I'm caching design that, of course, you cannot take your eyes off.
There's also a triple camera setup, this time, which we talked about of course later. But this is basically for the design of the phone, and this I can tell you because I reviewed the 50. It feels pretty much like the 50, but of course it looks a lot different and polarizing. In my opinion, there might be a lot of people who, like it and others who hate it. Maybe let me know which one you are now: let's move on to the display and with the display the 50 already was pretty up there and the 50 s is no different.
It has a Super AMOLED display a 1080p plus a resolution. This also an in display fingerprint scanner, and it's a Samsung display Samsung phones with Super AMOLED displays. You really cannot go wrong because Samsung makes the best displays out here so with the display. I, don't think, there's anything do not like here. The 50s just like the 50 has a phenomenal display performance.
The blacks are green because of that AMOLED screen the colors just pop right out, and you just have a high quality display now from display. Let's move on to the software and the software here is, of course, Samsung's own one UI. This was one of my favorite changes that Samsung did in the last three four years when they moved from the Grace us or experience UX to 1 UI. One UI is simply phenomenal compared to what it was before. It's still, of course, not the best out there, but this is truly a step towards a premium software experience.
You get the same software experience that you got with the Samsung Note 10 plus, so that of course says something: you have the ability to turn on or off dock mode. The icons all look pretty uniform. The UI looks and feels premium, and you also have something that's built on top of Android 9, but with the best feature in this software, on the 50 as being that you have full Samsung pay support, yes, I'm, not talking about the s 10 class or the S 'tony. This is the Samsung a 50s, and it comes with full Samsung pay. So this something for you with the cameras on the Samsung Galaxy, a 50 s, you get a 48 megapixel sensor.
Now we still do not have official word if it's the 48 megapixel Samsung sensor or is it the popular Sony, IMF 586? But it's a 48 megapixel. As of now, you have an 8 megapixel ultra-wide lens, and you have a 5 megapixel depth sensor. So that's quite a camera array. Now here are a few pictures taken using those cameras. Let us know in the comment section what you think of it this time.
Also, you have a knife mode, and you also have a super steady, video mode with the 50s. Now with the Samsung Galaxy a 50, we had a twenty-five megapixel sensor and Samson steps it up this time with a Taro megapixel sensor and that one I think we all pretty much know that that is a Samsung sensor, because Samsung is the only one producing commercially available, 32 megapixel cameras, and it makes sense for them to use a Samsung sensor. So you have the front that is 32 megapixels and on the back, you have 48 megapixels, plus eight ultra-wide and a 5 megapixel depth sensor now inside the phone under the hood handling. All that power is an exhaust 9:6 double one. So it's a slightly upgraded version of the 96 1-0 I'm guessing you would not find any drastic changes in performance, but yes, it's a slightly more efficient processor, and you get the nine six one, one with four or six gigs of RAM and 128 GB storage on both 4 and 6 GB records, which means that you really do not have to worry about internal storage on the phone powering.
All that is a 4000 mAh battery, and you also get a 15 watt charge of this time inside the box. You have fast charging out of the box, and you have a 4000 mAh batteries to support the Samsung Galaxy a 50 s. So this of course sounds like a great package. The Samsung gain 50 was one of my favorite phones had a reviewed last year. That's primarily because this was a premium package at a price that was not really that premium.
Other phones maybe were coming with more features or more specs, but they did not feel as refined as a Samsung Galaxy. A 50 did, and I think the 50 has follows down the same path and I. Think is a great smartphone that said, do wait for the full review, which will come very soon so stay subscribed to the mister phone channel and also hit the bell icon right next to it, so that you get notified when we put out a new review, maybe of the Samsung Galaxy a 50 s, and with that I leave it to it. Thank you so much for watching this ferry from Mr. phone with the gorgeous Samsung Galaxy, a 50 s, and I'll catch in the next one.
